just got back from a ten day stay at the piscis hotel the hotel was very clean the food was cooked to a high standard with a good choice to accomodate the guests. the location was excellent with the beautiful port and beach a two minute walk away the sataff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly and worked hard unfortunately there was no entertainment being all inclusive i felt that maybe a little entertainment in the evening would have been better for my family as my teenage children did get a little bored. we would definately go back to the resort but maybe a different hotel with entertainment.

We arrived back from this hotel a week ago now, the hotel was clean and tidy. The room we had was plenty big enough for us all we had 3 beds and a cot and still plenty of room.

The food was ok, the same as most 3 star hotels, although breakfast was a bit iffy sometimes with the different sausages they had, but there was also cereal, toast, salad, cold meats, cakes etc if you didn't fancy anything cooked.

The location of this hotel is spot on, it is only a 5 min walk to the beach and marina so we didn't spend much time around the hotel pools.

There are two pools at the hotel, one for kids one for everyone, and also a separate area for sun bathing, the pool area was plenty big enough for when we were there but I imagine in peak season it could become very busy, but like I said the beach is only 5 min away and it has lovely clear sea and clean.

The staff at the hotel were always pleasent and helpful, the maids did a fantastic job.

The entertainment, well I can't comment much as with two small children we didn't see much at night, but what we did see was ok, kids disco, bingo then some kind of show. During the day the entertainment staff always did something with the kids like painting, playing games etc.

All in all this hotel was fantastic value for money we only paid £290 for 9 nights for 2adults and 2 kids, so you cannot complain for the money we paid, yes the hotel has germans there but if you want an English only hotel then you will have to go to the travel agent, pay the higher prices they charge, and get an English only hotel.

I would definitely go back to this hotel.

German owned hotel and geared up to the German market.

Cleanliness - Was fantastic until the last night when I stepped on a cockroach outsude the lift door.

Food - Poor but Great if your German. Hotel is geared 100% to the German market. German Guests out number brits around 10/1. boiled suasages for breackfast and half cooked bacon. All sweets and meats are German and raw.

Location - Fantastic. Right in the town center. 5 mins from beach but walk 10 mins up the beach to get clear water and clean sea floor. Lots of debris in the corner as this is a bay.

Staff - Helpfull but very poor English. Seem to be fluent German though

Entertainment - A JOKE. DO NOT TAKE KIDS. If there is something on it starts at 10pm and it resembeles an out take from pheonix nights. Very bad acts, Was there for 7 nights and 3 nights entertainment turned up.

AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!

We have just returned from our stay at the Hotel Piscis, booked through teletext and lowcostbeds.com. And I must say I was sooooo surprised at the previous reports. Our holiday for the three of us came to £1020 for everything for a week, direct flights via easyjet belfast to palma, transfers and insurance. We were dubious having read previous posts that the hotel was maybe a bit of a disappointment, but for the money it was superb. The flights were early leaving and arriving, the transfers carried thompson, cosmo and iberia holiday makers so were not lacking in anyway. The hotel is extremely well presented from outside, the foyer is immaculate and on our stay the staff at the reception were very polite and efficient(which I suppose could be interpreted as being standoffish if you are that way inclined). We were issued with our armbands for the all inclusive stay and as our room wasnt ready for a further 20 minutes we were shown the restaurant which was down a short flight of stairs(lift access too). The restaurant was very clean and had a excellent selection of hot food. In every meal time we had there was always a choice of soup, pasta, poultry, meat and fish, saladbar and nice desserts. Unlimited soft drinks which you could get in large jugs to stop runs to the fountains, a beer tap with jugs again, and red white wine and sangria taps also along with bottled water. The standard of meals didnt vary through the week, perhaps to some it would be repetitive, but there was no reason to eat out adding cost, unless that you just like a outdoor restaurant culture. At no time did we notice any children not finding something to eat, and apart from a few comments about, oh no, fish again from a few adults, who then filled their plates with meat or chicken I can honestly say that the meals were well received. Staff were very pleasant, even when one client decided to throw a complete egg mayonnaise tray off the counter in a tantrum onto the floor did they complain, no, they just smiled and cleaned it up. The bar was beside the restaurant and although a little basic in decor, this would be because it was also for the pool area, so had to be able to deal with wet persons. The staff in there were very good with the kids, a constant stream of at times pretty rude children asking for slushies and ice cream would drive me nuts, but apart from telling them to dry off before they got served sometimes they were always polite and good humoured, often keeping the kids going with joking etc. There were quite a few germans, but there were also plenty of english people there, easily a 50/50 mix. The pool area is small, but the pool is pretty decent, the sun doesnt shine on the area until 10ish, and was spoilt by people reserving the loungers and then going off to the beach till lunchtime, coming back to have lunch then taking over the pool area, one family of 4 reserved 8 loungers everyday in two spots so they got the sun all day, but went off to the beach in the morning, I felt that was a bit unfair. The rooms were clean and well presented, sometime the maids didnt arrive till after 3 though, so if you had a small kid you wanted to get a short nap it could be difficult to time, the aircon in the rooms was quiet and efficent, we stayed on the fifth floor at the front of the hotel and most of the time it was pretty quiet, although I could see if you were on a lower floor it could be noisy with passing traffic, although it was like a pin dropping after 1'ish am. A lot of noise was created by unthoughtful people who were waiting for late transfers to the airport allowing their children to scream out the front, and the same type of people who arrived at early morning then came down the corridors shouting at each other, dragging their bags after them. But noise wise, it's much the same as any other hotel i've stayed in around majorca/tenerife/costas etc, the tiled floors pass noise easily. We didnt notice noise from other rooms, and certainly didnt listen to anyother conversations that were going on in other rooms. To sum up, we thoughly enjoyed the stay, the beach is literally 2 minutes away if the pool isnt attractive, close enough to walk up to if you need the loo and is absolutely beautiful, plenty to see and do. By the way, if you are going down to the beach and want an umbrella, dont buy one, just check out the cleaners carts, theres nearly always 1 or 2 in there being dumped, just take a walk around the floors as they are cleaning, you'll get inflatables and all for nothing rather than paying the resort big prices.
Woulkd we stay there again, yes and no, yes because the hotel was brilliant, no because we like to see other resorts and get bored easily. So go ahead, have a great stay at the piscis, for the money it was almost as cheap as staying at home.

We stayed at The Piscis for one week all inclusive. The food was your typical all inclusive buffet. Nothing spectacular but it was edible. We ate out most of the time and there are some lovely places 2 minutes walk away. The hotel was spotless as was our room. The maids did a great job. The beach and main shops, etc are 2 minutes walk away so the location is fantastic. The entertainment was poor- mainly catered towards German families.
On a downside on arrival the hotel was over booked so at 11.30 at night we were transferred to a hotel in Pollensa (a 15min taxi away) this was inconvenient but the problem was quickly sorted by the cosmos reps in resort. I would not revisit this hotel as it was 90:10 germans to english people and the entertainment represented this so it was difficult to drink in the hotel all night. The pool is tiny for the size of the hotel and in 7 days we didnt get chane to sit by the pool as it was too busy. I wont return to this hotel.

We stayed for 1 week all inclusive and the food was adequate but very much the same each day. Plently of choices and lots of fish.

The hotel was very clean and the maids came and cleaned each day - could not fault them. The staff were quite off standish - possibily through lack of english so we could not moan that much as we dont speak spanish!

Did not like drinking from plastic beakers much though but did not have a problem getting served with drinks. The hotel has the smallest of pool areas and we could not get any seating/beds by the pool on any of the days that we stayed there so if you dont like the beach dont stay here.

We were lucky to stay ina room at the back of the hotel which was nice and quiet but the rooms have very thin walls and you could hear even the quiet conversation going on next door!

I would not stay here again.

We arrived for our 10 day all inclusive holiday at the Piscis on May 10th we were pleasantly suprised how hot it was considering it was only lunchtime.

The hotel from the outside looked lovely and inside cool and air conditioned.

There were two lifts which was a real blessing. Our room although not the largest in the world was more than adaquate. We had a balcony with a pool view. The room was spotless and air conditioned all in all we were very pleased.

The room and towels were cleaned and changed every day and the maids were polite and discrete.

The food was great too, plenty of choice I heard some bad comments from a couple of guests but all I can say is they must be really picky and we couldnt fault it, the sweets were excellent.

The pool was somewhat small I have to admit but I'm not much of a pool person anyway so It didn't bother me. There is a seperate area above the pool with plenty of sun loungers and it's a great sun trap.

If I had one complaint about this hotel I would have to say it was the entertainment. It wasn't for me, cant say too much about it because I didn't see much of it we would stay for a couple of drinks and then head out to the town but others seemed to enjoy it.

The location of this hotel is excellent, just a short walk to the beach passing plenty of shops, bars and restaraunts. The sea is shallow (great for little ones) and clean.

There is plenty of local transport available such as buses and very reasonable too.

The bars at night were great, our favourites were Pago Pago a partially open air restaraunt/bar that played live music and a bar next to it called the Drunken Duck, lots of English there and always something going on every night quizzes for eg.

All in all I would definately recommend this hotel, in fact so much so that we have booked to go again this coming May/June.

On arrival at this hotel it was clear a great deal of effort goes into cleaning, every where was sparkling,

The receptionist was very polite and asked if we had had a good flight, then it was on to the room, it had air con that worked and though basic the room was very clean, we over looked the pool area so noise was not a problem.
On one side of the hotel is the pool area on the other is a terrace, at the far end of the terrace an area is seperated for the children to play, it had a small pool plus slides, wendy house etc.

The location of this hotel is very good, Thomson say it is 150 metres from the beach/port, the hotel say it is 300 metres to the beach/port I would say it's about One beer or Two glasses of wine away depending on how you measure distance.

The entertainment, one night they had a Parrot show the rest of the week they didn't, I would go out if I where you.

Food, Breakfast was fine all the normal fare, Dinner nothing wrong but you had the choice of Pork one night or Chicken the next and that was that

We went half board so getting a drink wasn't a problem, but for the people who went AI if you wanted a beer you could only get half a pint a time in a plastic cup, the type that crushes when you hold it.

I would have no problems going back to this hotel, but I would be prepared to eat out at night.
So endeth the first lesson Amen.

Wow!!!!!!!!!! What a gem this turned out to be. I'm very critical about accommodation, but this was ideal.

For two young sixty year olds this was an ideal location. Food, thanks to a lot of German influence was excellent.

Cleanliness could not be faulted, and staff were very friendly. Entertainment,we usually went out, so did not see. It could perhaps be a little noisy from surrounding area at night, but our attitude is that everyone else is also on holiday to enjoy themselves. Ear plugs could be an advantage!!

Well done Direct Holidays for finding this Hotel!!!!

We booked the holiday as a last minute deal. We stayed on a half board basis. Was not to sure what to expect had read some not very flattering reports on the hotel but the reports turned out to be utter rubbish.

The hotel was of a good standard. Cleanliness was to a good standard as well.

The food was OK but did not different much from one day to the next. Not much of a kids menu the Spanish must think the British children live on chips and spaghetti.

The hotel was in a very good location very close to the beach. The sand had no shingle and to a very high standard. Sea was shallow ideal for kids and non swimmers.

Food average need a bigger selection for children.
Hotel location excellent just a few minutes walk to the excellent beach.
a good few pubs close at hand too.

Pool is ok,(apart from very cold).Would be nice if heated.
be up early if you want a sunbed as the towels appear on them very early. A good part of the sunbeds are in the shade and dont get the sun until 1pm, not much space between the beds and the pool especially when you have young kids walking about. (just go to beach)

Great holiday in a great hotel.

Rooms were cleaned everyday and towels changed every other day. There was air conditioning in every room which was an absolute life saver having two children.

There was a good variety of food but I felt there could of been more choice for younger children.

The pool area was small for the size of the hotel but the kids loved it anyway plus it was only a five minute walk to the beach. There was also a water park about 15 minutes away which was a really fun day out.

The bar staff were brilliant, they were really friendly, funny and great with the kids.

The entertainment was sometimes a bit boring so we went out to some of the local bars which were very friendly and came back later on. The mini disco for the kids was annoying as it was just the same four songs every day for two weeks.

All in all I would definitely go back and would recommend it to other people.

Bit concerned about hotel before travelling but needn't have worried.

Room cleaned every day with fresh towels every other day, staff very friendly. Room easily large enough for 3, air conditioning was a blessing as temperature was in high 20s all week.

Hotel food did lack variety but was of a good standard and there was always plenty of room.

Just a short walk from Port Alcudia beach, which is very shingly and a little smelly, but if you turn right from harbour and follow beach you will come to finer sand and here the sea is lovely, you can go out quite a way just paddling.

Entertainment was disappointing, only went once as strong men and parrots aren't our thing. Smugglers bar next door has better.

Great holiday in a surprisingly good hotel. We weren't expecting much from the hotel Piscis having read previous reports on this site but we were very pleasantly suprised.

The hotel is spotless, the rooms being cleaned every day.

Food is okay lots of variety but sometimes you get bored of eating in the same dining room every day.

Staff were excellent, very friendly; the waitresses loved making a fuss of Milly.

The hotel is also in a great location, it doesn't seem much when you first arrive but take your first walk and once you walk 30 yards and turn the corner you're right in the middle of things. We recommend the bar called Caliu right at the end of the Alcudia Mar, great location it seems a bit posh but the lunchtime menu was very reasonable (cheap) and the drinks too. It is worth taking a walk to the old town about 15 mins especially on market day.

The only gripes we have with the place are the size of the pool area is a bit small, also the entertainment was a bit naff. The head entertainer was like something from a working men’s club. Also only one lift isn't really enough at busy times. But overall it was cool and we would definitely go back again. Oh and the reps were a bit useless too, don't go to Son Amar either (3 course meal? More like 3 course nibble & the Drifters who don't actually perform any Drifters songs!!??!!).

Thanks for hearing me out. Bye bye.

I travelled with a group of 62 people of all ages and everyone was catered for in this hotel.

There was a large selection at meal times and could not fault anything with the dining room. Our rooms were cleaned every day and towels changed every second day clean bedding twice a week.

The location was good it was only a short walk to the main shopping area and a short bus/taxi run to the local market. Chris the entertainer was fantastic, he catered for everyone from the small children to the adults later in the evening and the acts that are brought into the hotel were also good something different every night.

All round fantastic holiday. Thank you to all at the Piscis for a great holiday.

What can one say to run the place up, HOLIDAY HOTEL FROM HELL.

Everything we were informed & asked for we didn't get, for example we asked for a quite room with a view / sea view, instead we got a view into a back street alley over looking a noisy bar which went on to 3 in the morning, not good for the kids whom had to suffer with the foul language every night coming from below.

Food, I don't think those whom have commented that the hotels food is good could have ever gone to this hotel, & must have been talking about a different hotel, all paid for passing good comments. The food was the same for breakfast & dinner, apart from every other morning they had boiled sausages, which didn't taste much cop.

This hotel was meant to be half board, & therefore we only took so many euros. Thank god I took my cards as it cost me a fortune in meals during the day to satisfy the holes of hunger that we had already paid for, & should have got, instead of the same boring rubbish with no Varity. The head chef reminded us of the guy from hells kitchen, shouting at his staff for petty things.

The kids liked the pool, solely as it was there, but there was nothing to it, so they got bored easily & could only spend an hour or so before wanting to go to the beach. Which was always a relief as the outside was so small that you couldn't swing a cat.

Entertainment was rubbish, your better of going out for the evening. Luckily the kids made friends otherwise they would have been screaming at us all the time that they were bored.

If you want my advice, DON'T GO TO THE PISCUS.

How can anyone complain about the food, there was everything you wanted. You could not dislike everything
there was always something to choose.

The pool I agree was small and in the shade till noon.

The Compere worked his socks off (can't mention his name) and the entertainment was excellent.

The only fault I’ve got is that I could not get any ice to take up to my room for my night cap unless I bought a drink! I've been buying drinks all week long for god sakes! Stupid rule should take notice down.

The hotel is very clean and the staff are generally friendly and helpful. However, some of the Direct Holiday Reps are more concerned with getting you to give them a good review (i.e. Ask you in the welcome meeting for you to give them a good rating in the questionnaire - so they get a decent location next year!! - However, they won't go out of their way to be pleasant or helpful!.

Location is excellent and air conditionning is really useful!! All Brits here in the hotel - mainly family orientated and late breakfasts and dinners are quite hectic!!

Food is o.k but worth going out for Tapas a few nights!

It is worth going to Smugglers bar next door for cheap (large) shots and then out to the resort before returning late to the hotel bar for the cheesy entertainments (Rod Stewart, parrot show, hypnotist, American line dancing / wild west show!! etc.

In summary, a good clean typical Brits abroad holiday type hotel - but don't rely on the reps for much help!!

The hotel was very clean, apart from the selfish people who would stub out their cigarettes and leave their juice bottles lying on the stairs.

The food at the hotel was very basic, however got nice salad every night and chips. Not much chioce for children and fish was always on the menu. Can't comment on the cooked breakfasts as never eat them. Dinner can be a bit chaotic as never know if the dining room staff are going to sit you or if just have to find your own seat. Warning though-drinks at dinner time can be expensive for what you get, 1.50euros for a pepsi although you can get a 2 litre bottle at the shop round the corner for just over 1euro.

The location of the hotel is good, not far from the beach. Went to Hydropark one day and took a taxi as the buses are very unpredictable, this cost just under 5euros. Can't comment on the entertainment as just went for walks at night time around the beach and the shops which are open late.

The majority of the reception staff are nice although two of them really need to learn how to smile.

The hotel Piscis is a family hotel so don't expect many groups of young people! This was recommended to us by our travel agent when we said we didn't want to go to Magaluf etc but wanted somewhere in majorca which was a nice place but can still be lively if you know where to go. Alcudia is that place.

The position of the hotel is great - 200m from the beach. We went mid-july and the beach wasn't busy AT ALL so it really is a good location. The hotel is towards the end of the beach and if you keep walking you can find another 8 miles or so of beach if you want.

Theres plenty to do on the beach too - pedlos, watersports etc.

The actual hotel was really nice too - rooms cleaned everyday (well most days! eg if you were sleeping they weren't) towels changed every other day. The rooms were quite small but nice enough!
We had 4 rooms and although they were all the same size, the bathroom sizes changed. I stayed in a room with a small bathroom and a big room but other people were the otherway around. All the rooms now have air-con too which is always good!

The meals were good too. The breakfast only seemed to offer sausages every other day (don't know what that was about!) but the selection for dinner was always good - about 4 different meats eg beef pork fish chicken. Then pasta salads, chips, salads etc. I can see why vegetarians would complain though. We ate out twice as we arrived late and one night wanted a chinese so can also recommend the chinese overlooking the beach.

The pool is not really that good. The problem is that is nearly always in shade! unless you get there really early you know that you'll be in the shade until 2pm or something becuase there are buildings all around the hotel!

And the actual pool is usually in shade, and when it isn't its cold! they need to heat it! but its still a nice place to sit by. A LOT of lilos in the pool though. We tended to stay at the beach.

Its only a 2 star but its better than a lot of 3 stars i've been to!

The hotel was brilliant the people were friendly and the staff were helpful. The hotel was clean and the food was good.

The location of the hotel was brilliant as the beach was not that far away and the shops were only around the corner.

I would visit this hotel again because it was a great hotel and it is a good place for families

We stayed at the hotel Pisces in June of this year. We found the hotel staff very helpful and the hotel itself was always spotless. Airconditioning was in all of the room and we thouroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

i stayed for 2 weeks in this pit-hole and i have never come across such arrogant and selfish people in my life. the reception was very bad and there was a tiny pool (which i got drenched at by all the kids who had nothing else to do ) that i visited for ten minutes and then went to the beach.the only good thing i can say about this place is it's taught me to look extra carefull when booking my next holiday.
the food ,particularly at night ,was like you see on those''holidays from hell'' programmes and i didn't see many dogs around,i wonder why?
So ,if you want to enjoy your holidays, DON'T GO HERE.

we stayed at the Hotel Piscis in May 2004 and found the hotel great for the price we paid. Remember, this is a 2* hotel priced accordingly! The choice at mealtimes was far better than expected and the quality could not be faulted. Even for the 'most fastidious' the cleanliness could not be questioned. Air conditioning is now in all rooms and although the swimming pool is not the biggest it makes the most use of space available. Complaints of children splashing sunbathers when playing in the pool seem somewhat churlish considering this is a family hotel. We heard several complaints during our stay but these seemed to be in the minority and most people seemed more than happy with their holiday. We did not usually stay in the bar on an evening so cannot comment on the entertainment though we would thoroughly recommend the nearby Comics bar.

Stayed for 2 weeks, staff great, very clean hotel. Food good, location excellent, near beach and harbour.

Entertainment started too late for me. Had to hire fan as room was very hot, needs air conditioning put in.

Will definately return for another holiday to this hotel.

Personal impression of the hotel and amenities.
Mixed feeling on this hotel as the staff seemed to be very helpful and generally cheerful - even the maids. The rooms were very small and the beds took up most of the room. No fan or AC so the room was extremely hot and we needed to hire a fan from the hotel.Even this still gave us an uncomfortable night as the noise of the fan combined with the heat broke our sleep almost on the hour. The beds are not very comfortable either. By the way although a high room is not the most ideal it is better than the lower ones as the noise from the street traffic is deafening combined with the church bell which rings every half hour. High room is less noisy.
Pool is a postage stamp and not nearly large enough for the size of the hotel. Don't believe the picture of the pool as it has been taken at a most advantageous angle! Too many children to enjoy the pool anyway so give it a miss and go to the nearby beach which is pretty good. The bar was very basic but once again the staff seemed nice.
Be warned that the food is terrible. Some guests piled their plates as high as they could with this poor excuse for food but I don't think they knew the difference between good and bad food anyway. If they eat that kind of food at home they would be the size of a house in no time. This dining room is not for healthy eating! Salads were same most nights with no imagination. Breakfasts were not too bad but they served either sausages or bacon but not at the same time. Same with the eggs, only one type at a time. Still this was probably the most healthy time of the day to eat as there was a choice of the usual breakfast items.
Cleanliness was mixed, generally good but they do not keep everything up to scratch.
General personal feeling was that the hotel was reasonable for the price we paid (last minute deal) but would not return.
Saving grace was the local bar "Comics" and The Chinese La Villa excellent food and very reasonable. Snacks from Mickeys (across from La Villa were also excellent). A must is the Old town where the restaurants and buildings are great.

Stayed at this hotel a couple of years back! and would never go back! The pool area was tiny! There's about 10 sunbeds that get the sun!! Rest in the shade!

Rooms average size!

The hotel's near the beach but sadly it's at the port!
and it does smell awfull!! If you walk about 20 miles you come to the Alcudia beach its breath taking!!

Hotel was clean enough!!

Direct did say its a 3*.... on arrival it was a 2*
Entertainment was a nightmare! Tom the DJ did try his best! God help you if you have to go through the disco night!

All in all wasn't overly impressed!

The pool area is way too small!! The cleanliness was ok!

Bar staff were always friendly!

Direct staff on the other hand WERE NOT! Normally the direct staff are wonderful not at this hotel!!!

This hotel isn't very good for families!!

Good luck!!

Also try the pub over from the hotel can't remember the name! It does georgous food!!

My family and l were at this hotel on the 29th July 2002 For 2 weeks,,the thing that stays in my mind was how bad the food was,,l think the chef used the same flavouring in every thing he or she cooked,,as for lying in the sun on the sun beds ,,that was a nightmare,,lets just say you did'nt have to go and take a cold shower because the bed were so close to the pool the WEANS(kids for you English,HA,HA,HA)would make sure you got well and truly splashed when they jumped or dived into the pool. May l say there was one good thing about the Piscis, was you got clean towels everyday,,that was till our last day which l will get too later on.Entertainment was very poor,,l had one good night in the hotel and a few beers helped me with that plus it was karaoke that night in which they videoed you singing,,but you were charged about a Tenner for that.

The rooms were so small as well,we went as a family of 3 and there was 3 single beds in the room, but l met a guy and he was with a family of 4 and they were in the same size of room with 4 beds, you could just Squeeze between the beds and a set of drawers to get out to a balconey for 2 people.

I was glad also we were only on the 3rd floor because there is only one lift. Our last day was a nightmare also,we asked about a room so we could have a showers and get ready for our flight home,,and l was told if they had a room we would get it if not there was a shower out at the pool where we could get ready there, lucky or maybe not we got a room but when l asked for some towels for our showers l was told they did not supply towels,,bearing in mind l said the towels were changed everyday,,surely they could afford some towels for the folks that were leaving. All in all l don't know how this hotel has even a 2 star rating,,maybe it's because they gave you fresh towels everyday,ha,ha,ha,and a loo roll. In my opinion Alcudia is great place but the HOTEL PISCIS is a NO NO.

1)We thought this hotel was a 3*+, not a 2*.
2)Food was disgusting, wouldn't feed it to a stray animal!
3)There are only 2 members of staff who are human, the others are rude, arrogant, incompetant & anti-English.
4)NOT CHILD-FRIENDLY!!!!!Must be under 24hr supervision, even aged 16+(ie:teenagers)
5)The "entertainment" would have bored a glass eye to sleep.
6)Close proximity to a church bell/clock which chimes the no. of hrs on the hour, and once at 30 mins past the hour.Even through the night.
7)If you can possibily get to sleep thanks to the clock/bell,slammimg of doors, noise from Smugglers bar/karaoke.You can bet the heat of the small compact rooms keeps you tossing & turning, until you hire a fan @ 3 EURO's per night, beware though, because even some of these sound like motorbike engines!!
8)If want to be kept active, ask for a room on the 6/7th floor, the 1 lift which holds 8 people max, will ensure you use the stairs.Use the service lift at your peril!
9)Sunbeds around the pool. What sunbeds??Even the one's which exsisted were soaked, due to the volume of bored kids whom were bombing in.Including those who chose to jump from the 1st floor balcony.
10)Phew!!Thank God for the lovely beach,Highlander bar(excellent food),Pago Pago resturant(entertainment/food),& the fact that we nearly booked to go to the Sidari Village @ Corfu(narrow escape there).

We (mum, dad and 6mth old baby) stayed at the Piscis in Sept 2000 for a week (- the week that Germany beat us at Wembley). We found the pool to be a little small, but what do you expect being 200m from the sea.The rooms were a little basic, but clean. Entertainment every night in the bar, not much room though, need to get there early. Food wasnt the best, but was edible. Excellent location, right next to the marina, pedestrian area and beach/sea. A few good bars close by. Management/staff were generaly helpful, except when we tried to keep our room at the end, they made us transfer to a different one for 8 hours! All in all, not too bad, 3/5 - could try harder.
