EVERYONE was helpful, they cannot do enough to help and they are always nice to you from the cleaners to the receptionist. Entertainment staff did their very best to entertain and were always smiling esp Ollie, Steve, Vicky and Sophie. The kids always looked happy and always something to do for them. The food was lovely though sometimes a bit repetative but then again it was still nice. The rooms very clean and up to date. The waiters always smiling esp Victor.
I would def visit this hotel again and cannot wait to get back

| said: Having never been to an A/I hotel we were unsure of what to expect we need not have worried , this hotel was Fab. The Rooms were cleaned everyday, the staff were the most friendliest I have ever known in any Hotel. The food was good, always plenty of choice. We ate in the restaurant for lunch which had loads of choice and more choice for dinner. The snackbar was also fine for chips or sandwiches.
The entertainment staff are very hardworking always had time to chat, made everyone feel welcome.
The only down side to this hotel was the lack of parasols by the pool .
A word of warning if you want a parasol you need to get up and put your towel in a queue ,as you can't go onto the pool area until 8:30. so it is like a scrum to get a good spot with a parasol. the sunbeds was not a problem though usually some around even as late as 10 o'clock.
Steve Ollie Vicki Sophie Scott and Avril worked so hard to entertain everyone during the day and night
there was always something going on from 10;30 until 5:00 at night and then the night time entertainment started at 8:30 for young children and adults entertainment from 10-12 ,this ranged from tribute shows magic shows to shows put on by the entertainment staff themselves. which I have to say was excellent.
Thanks to Scott for making us all laugh especially when He wore those checked trousers (Ha Ha)

| said: The hotel itself was very clean. The room was quite small but adequate and the air conditioning very good.
Location-wise I think it was excellent - just off the main road but still will pharmacy and other shops just around the corner. At the back of the hotel it is a 5 minute walk to the Hydropark.
The hotel staff were all great and very friendly and helpful.
The food was the only let down for us for this hotel. The breakfast and poolside snacks were good but the lunch and dinners were very disappointing. They should have let these spanish chefs cook what they cook best - spanish food and not try to cook British food (which they didn't pull off very well). The lunch and dinner menus were virtually the same and got very predictable and we were only there for one week.
The entertainment team at this hotel were the stand out feature for us and if anything made us return it would definately be them. Ollie, Scott, Sofie, Vicky, Avril led by Steve were just fantastic and they managed to keep their enthusiasm up from 10am until midnight every day. They were just spot on!

The entertainment team, Ollie, Steve, Sophie and Vikki are great and they are very friendly and funny. The bar staff are awesome,Ismael,Viri,Kati and Beli. The lifeguard was very funny and talked to us all the time.
The food was good but sometimes just ate in the snack br downstairs, which was still good. Drinks were available from 10:00 to 24:00.
Hidropark is very good and very hot as there is little shade. The slides and pools are good fun for families.
Shops were near and chemist was just round the corner. There is lots of night-life for adults.
The entertainment shows on the evening were great as we saw, Grease and a Queen tribute band, etc.
The beach is near and is quite clean.
The rooms are good and air conditioning is there if you want to use it.
Overall I can't wait to go back because it is the best holiday place I have ever been to.

| said: Got back yesterday from a 7 night stay, here's the run down:
Room
The room was overall very good. Bedding/Sheets/Towels are changed every day unless you specify the night before if you do not want it using the privacy card on the door handle. Keeping the room at 17 degrees all day was brilliant; the air conditioning was certainly top banana!
TV was good, it had a few British channels plus some Spanish ones. Bathroom was well maintained.
Overall, the room and bathroom was very good - no complaints there!
Food
The food was served in a Buffet style room with enough chairs and tables to seat 260. The dining room itself was nice and bright and very clean. Tables were cleaned as soon as people had left.
The food available was catered to the British obviously. For breakfast, there was continental, cooked breakfast and fruit available. The only thing I would say is that the Bacon seemed to upset my stomach slightly. Rest of it was brilliant.
For Lunch (we only ate lunch one in the restaurant), there were various dishes available however it does seem to be the same for Dinner.
For Dinner, they were different styles of food available. There was a nice select of Italian foods and a few fish/seafood dishes. On most nights, a Roast Dinner was served, usually Roast Beef or Chicken with all the trimmings. They also had Cantonese Beef Stew, Hungarian Beef Goulash, and Sirloin Steaks etc. which went down a treat.
The desert choices didn't seem to change much, they were all very nice but could do with having a bit more variety.
Hotel Corridors/Entrance/Etc
The hotel itself is located about 500 metres away from the beach. It's in the new part of Alcudia.
Corridors were very clean and tidy. Entrance to the hotel was nice and foyer/lobby area was decorated nicely.
Internet access was reasonably cheap, only used it for 5 minutes to check my e-mail quickly.
Entertainment
The entertainment was way better than I expected. The entertainment staff including Steve, Chris, Sophie, Tree etc. all worked very hard from 10am till 12pm! Daytime activities included Water Polo, Rifle Shooting, Archery and poolside activities. For the kid's there was t-shirt painting, ball games etc. All top notch.
At the night time, the entertainment was different every night! Grease show, Flamenco Dance show, Contemporary/Jazz/Ballet dance show, U2/The Police tribute show, Comedy acts, Snake and Reptile show etc. There was so much to watch - brilliant!
Bar
The bar itself was open from 10am till 12am (14 hours). Serving a variety of healthy and 'fatty' snacks and foods - all good and very quickly served.
The drinks were brilliant. Especially the Banana Fashion cocktail! Just a quick shout out to Ismael and Gosha who were very friendly.
All drinks were served quickly and the bar staff were not slow at all.
Hotel Staff
Waiters/Waitresses in the restaurant were helpful, no problems there. Reception staff were efficient as well.
Swimming Pool
Swimming Pool was a good size, not crowded but every one in there could swim with enough room.
The sun loungers were easy enough to get, but prime location ones with the umbrella or poolside ones got taken quickly so get there before 10am!
Tour Rep
Abbie was helpful when we needed information. There's always a British rep from Thomas Cook/JMC there with the kids or adults, so it was all good.
All in all, it was a great a time. I went with my girlfriend as a couple. Despite what people say about it being a family place, it is that but there were couples there - young and old, to which the hotel does suit everyone!
I don't know why people do not like the location, food or entertainment here. It is all good, trust me, if you go hear, you will definitely enjoy it. The food overall is awesome, plenty of choice and no grubby left-overs! Location of the hotel is very good, it sits to the edge of the new part of the town near a mountain with easy walking distance to the beach and town centre. The entertainment is fantastic, water polo/archery/rifle shooting/volley ball etc. for adults and activities for the kids - what more could you ask for. The evening entertainment is brilliant, a varied programme throughout the weeks.
Anyone who does not like this hotel should re-visit it!
I'll definitely be going to there again!

The entertainment at night was bad. The hotel is lovely and clean we couldnt hear the nightclub it overlooked except when Madrid won the league on the Sunday.
The daytime activities are good if you want to join in and our daughter loved the girls Kayler Vicky and especially Sophie these were the hotel entertainment girls and Steph and Orla were great as the kids club reps.
The pool wasnt cleaned every day until we complained and this was rectified for our last 5 days.
The food is what you would expect for the price that you are paying. Plenty of choice.
The hotel staff are superb nothing is too much trouble just ask there were problems with the lifts though but were always dealt with quickly all in all it was a good holiday but if you want 5 star food pay 5 star money

| said: We have just returned from this hotel, we stayed 1 week all inclusive, the only meal we enjoyed was breakfast! The food wasnt great not alot of choice they had kids buffet which consists of burgers chicken nuggets sausage beans and chips every night for the whole week. The main buffet had the salads 1 choice of meat which was usally pork or chicken and fish, we ate out a few times due to the food being repeated
The hotel itself is a bit out of the way we would walk to the marina whick was about 15-20 mind along the sea front or you could go to the main stip in the Bellevue area but agin 15-20 mins walk but the worst bit was the fact that Thomas Cook forgot to mention that Mentas night club is situated behind this hotel and you would hear the music until 6 in the morning. Weekends were the worst when the locals would go there, there was alot of brocken glass writting on the walls and the general surrounding area looked scruffy as this seamed to be the locals hangout area especially at the end of the road where the go karts are.
The hotel staff are great always smiling happy to help very friendly and they make a fuss of the children
The hotel is very clean in the reception area a bit disappointing when you go into the area where all the evening entertainment takes palce could do with a lick of paint. Rooms are small but we didnt spend much time in there anyway the pool area is very slippery. Also they hose down the tiles to keep them clean but the whole week we was there they never done the area by the childrens pool which ment it was sticky there was a lot of ants and it lead to some people cleaning the tiles them self!
Always some sort of entertainment going on the reps were very good in trying to get everyone involved day and night. Evening shows were ok too we went out most evenings and came back for 10 which is the time that
the shows started.
All in all I dont think I would visit this hotel again due to location and the poor food quality.

| said: We stayed at the Defin Verde for 1 week in September. As it was a late booking we got quite a discount, however this was not reflected in the quality of holiday we had which was very good.
The hotel was always clean and around the pool areas was constantly being cleaned in the day time by bar staff picking up litter and cups. Our room was cleaned daily and towels changed on the same basis, the only fault was that we didn't have our sheet changed while we were here, I understand this is because its done on a weekly basis.
Food was good and there was always a good choice and a cavery of some kind every night. snacks are available daily until 6pm from the pool bar. Drinks were good to say it was all inclusive as before at other hotels they have tasted watered down... but not here!
Staff were generally friendly especially the bar staff. although on one occasion in the restaurant a member of staff bumped into my partner causing him to spill a hot drink down himself and there was no apology and on the same day my plate was taken before I had finished.
The entertainment team worked very hard and long hours and seemed to keep everyone entertained! for visitors with children there is a jmc run kids club and kids room and the entertainment team, mainly ewa provide good poolside games for children. There is a nightly kids disco and games before adult games and the nightly show.
The only downside to the hotel really is the trip to the beach, which isn't that long, it just involves crossing a very busy main road, it also took some finding, for future visitors it is across the main road and down the side of the sunwing resort. Alcudia town is about a 10 mins walk right and the marina the same distance left.

| said: This was the best holiday we've ever had. We went for two weeks and took our only son who made friends easily and enjoyed the kids club.
It's difficult to find fault with this hotel. The staff were really helpful and attentive. There was loads of food to choose from and if you wanted to eat elsewhere, Burger King and KFC are just round the corner and there's a lovely Indian just passed Burger King.
The doctors and pharmacy is literally around the corner. The hotel was continuously kept clean. However, if you require more than the two plug sockets provided in room, reception will provide you with extentions and pretty much anything, hairdryers, irons etc.
We visited the pool at least three times a day - our son loved it, and never had a problem finding a sunbed, the rep told me that they recently put more out.
I dont understand how anyone cannot like this hotel, unless they're really fussy.

the food was like a tranport cafe, the same thing every morning no variation at all.
Lunch time was the best varied food. Dinner time was boring a couple of varations but that was that.
The so called restaraunt was tiny and cramped.
The sun beds you had to queue at 7.30am or earlier not enough beds for everyone.
The bar was like Newcastles big market, watererd down drink sometimes did not know what it was we were drinking?
Entertainment was good for kids not adults.

| said: This was our thrid visit to this hotel and I have to say that some things had plummeted this year as apposed to the previous two.
Firstly, the hotel needs an overall really. The furniture in the main room is rather shabby and needs replacing, the bedding also.
The cleanliness was somewhat not as good this year.
The main pool area was only hosed down and not swept of litter on some occasions, the sunbeds need replacing as quite a few are broken.
Also, there are no sunbed cushions so if you are like me and find it difficult to lie on hard plastic I suggest a camping mat as I did, much more comfortable.
Also, the sunbed queue this year was crazy. If you did not queue you did not get a sunbed, plain and simple as that. They really do need to do something about this problem for next year.
The evening entertainment was good when done by the entertainment team but the professional acts were complained about by most people. As we understood the budget for the entertainment was only scarce this year but we all paid a good amount to stay at the hotel and found it not worth the money, alot of people were actually leaving to go elsewhere in the evening but that is not what all inclusive should be about.
The entertainment team, chris, steve,
patrick, ewa (crazy polish girl), sophie and ollie were all a good laugh and tried hard to keep everyone amused throughout the day. Join in, it really is worth it, what a laugh.
The kids club is run in a small room at the back of the hotel and was always busy and the team were great with the little ones. My daughter joined in this year too which was a plus on previous years as she liked the kids club rep vikki.
Some other points I noted on the negative side were
the food was sometimes only lukewarm, the water from the pool bar was warm for most of the day, you could get ice though but then it meant you had to queue at the bar.
The hotel was plagued with mosquitos at the time we were there, I don't know whether this was coincidence but we never had any the previous two years.
People who had never been bitten before were getting bitten, it was weird really. Some people said that last year and all previous years citronella candles were provided at night outside, but not this year. Just beware, take some repellent or you will end up buying it out there.
All in all I would definitely go back to this hotel but on noting the prices as yet I do not feel it is quite worth the kind of money it is asking. Maybe the hotel will get an overhaul for next year, if not I'd only go at a bargain price. Have to see, I'm keeping a watch on the prices. Adios for now.

| said: Third year in a row we've been here and it's still a great holiday hotel.
Very very clean and the staff really want to help you have a good time - nothing's too much bother.
Entertainment team (Chris, Steve, Ewa, Sophie, Patrick and Ollie) work really hard to keep you busy and entertained - even when you end up being the one doing the entertaining (as many of us found out!!!). It really is a good option to join in - it adds to the enjoyment. They'd arranged for scuba experiences in the pool this year for 5Euros for kids and 15Euros (much more instruction involved) for adults - well worth it! The evening entertainment isn't as good as last year which is a disappointment - the staff do their best but the professional acts are not as varied. Kids disco and club session at the end were always popular and well run.
Restaurant offers plenty of space and lots of choice - including a carvery most nights. Food is of a good quality and offers fresh fruit at every mealtime (as well as breakfast cereal in the kids evening meal buffet, if your kids are too tired to eat a proper meal!).
Worst thing about this hotel is the sunbed queue. There were not enough beds and parasols for the number of guests, so queuing started early this year (doors don't get opened until 8.30 am). The second week we were there it was a little better - it looked like they'd put more beds out anyway. They really need to fix this problem as it really is the only downside. If you don't mind the sun, you can always sit at one of the outside tables until a sunbed becomes free in the afternoon if you don't want to get up early. It's not as if there's no where to sit, it's just in the afternoon there is very little shade for anyone that burns easily like me!
I still think we'll be back sometime soon - it's a good holiday experience all in all.

I have never stayed in a hotel where the cleaning staff worked all evening as well as in the day, everytime you looked around they were cleaning something else!! very reassuring.
My daughter had her 7th birthday there and was made a huge fuss of by all the staff - she said it was her best birthday ever.
So in summary a fantastic hotel, you have no worries at all about staying here.

| said: The hotel is spotlessly clean and without exception staff were very helpful espicially the restuarant manager
The hotel is ideal for families with small children children were catered for from first thing in the morning until ten at night
Food was average for a three star hotel always plenty of food fresh and hot as well as fresh fruit
Location of the hotel was ideal for people with no mobility problems but if you have problems with walking it is a bit out of the way about thirty minutes if you are not so mobile and about fifteen minutes if walking is not a problem to the marina
I would strongly suggest that anyone who is looking for a holiday that is peaceful and quiet do not choose this hotel as it is definately a hotel where children are the hotels main concern
If children do not bother you then go and have a great holiday but remember this is only a three star holiday and does not therefore have the facilities that four star hotels offer I think that this reflects in the price that you pay

| said: I was worried sick about choosing the right hotel etc. for our holiday but this hotel was more than I even expected.
First of all I must say we were told it is a 2 star hotel which did worry me. It has to be a three star at least. It was spotless, the rooms were spacious and clean, with air conditioning, t.v. tea facilities etc.
The maids made your beds every day and regularly changed towels. If you did not want to be disturbed just put the sign on the door and they will call back later when you change the sign. They were excellent like that.
All the staff in the hotel were there to help with even the smallest of things. The reps were there when ever needed and could not do any more to help if they tried.
At any time of the day there was never a shortage of sun beds or chairs. The pool and pool side was immaculate. The choice of food in the restaurant was excellent and you help yourself to wine etc. at the bar. There was enough choices to suit everyone. Only five minutes to the beach.
Two minutes to the bus stop where you can catch buses to go almost anywhere so much cheaper than the pre book trips. Just ask for a bus time table at the hotel reception desk. One way leads to the busy town and the other to the port and the old town.
There is also a laundry room which we found ideal as we stayed for 2 weeks. The hotel exchange rates are the best.
The only poor side I found was the entertainment. We went out most evenings which we did not mind as that is part of enjoying our holiday. I am a very fussy person and usually hard to please but on this occasion I was thrilled with this hotel and we are considering going back next year with my daughter, partner and grandson.

The hotel was immaculate, rooms were cleaned every day, fresh towels left and beds made daily.
The staff were lovely and friendly in resturant and bar.
The reps were great and provided us with a few laughs.
The entertainment started off excellent but as the week went on it got boring but they were trying to entertain a lot of people and I suppose you can't please everyone.
They catered a lot for families which was good.
The food was hit and miss at times but there was plenty of choice even for the most fussy eater.

| said: What a fantastic week which started from the word go, a late arrival had the restaurant re-opened so didn't miss out on a much welcome meal and drink. Restaurant immaculate, food fabulous, lots of choice and well presented. Lots of fresh salads and a huge selection of hot and cold meals and desserts - no stale or greasy left-overs. The staff were very friendly and efficient - plates removed from tables as soon as you'd finished eating!
Room was very spacious and thoroughly cleaned every day. air conditioning comes without any additional charge and is very efficient. Kettle and tea/coffee making equipment provided.
Pool area spacious with lots of sunbeds, umbrellas and tables. Pool itself a good size with inflatables kept to a minumum and a separate children's pool with constant supervision by a lifeguard. Lots of daytime entertainment for both kids and adults with fantastic entertainment staff - all of them a credit to the hotel. Snack food available all day beside the pool and a useful "help yourself" to fresh water supply.
All the bar staff were very friendly - even had a night out with them on one occasion.
Entertainment - a different show every night with something for everyone, including audience participation!
Hotel in a good location for us - not beside noisy bars or discos and only a 5 minute walk from the beach (OK, it's across a busy road but there are pedestrian crossings!) The bars and discos only 10 minutes walk.
Booking up for a fortnight next September! We have never gone back to the same place twice!!

Entertainment was brilliant for adults and kids alike both day and night.
Swimming pool and area cleaned every morning to a high standard, hotel cleaning staff seem to clean 24/7.
Food had a wide variety for everyones taste, and every thing was presented well and tasted great.
All staff was excellent in making you feel welcome and had a good sense of humour, and if you needed any help or anything doing it was dealt with straight away.
All we can say is that we will definately go back and highly recommend it to all.
Hope all at the hotel keeps up the great work as you should be a 3+star at least HAPPY HOLIDAYS

| said: Our second visit in 2 years and we're booked again for next year already - and we're not the only ones!
Great smallish hotel with a lot of heart. Staff are very friendly and are keen to make your stay the best it can be. It's kept spotlessly clean by an army of cleaners, it's all inclusive so food and drink on tap all day (no evening snacks so shop at the supermarket or take Euros for the vending machines in the hotel if you tend to want that) and the entertainment is great. Yes there's the usual 'professional' acts, but it's when the entertainment staff are involved that makes it fun. From Mini Disco, with all the set dances which the kids love becoming expert in, the games, the diploma ceremony .... The best nights were the entertainment team's tribute nights - Grease, Blues Brothers, Dirty Dancing, Hollywood .... such energy, even after a full day keeping us occupied!
Join in during the day with all the events (archery, rifle or pistol shooting, french boules, etc) and you increase your chances of winning a diploma, hat, t-shirt or even a gold medal!!!! (it's so bad it's great!). You also get to make so many new friends, that it makes joining in all the more fun. Our thanks go to the fantastic entertainment team this year - Chris, Marcio, Steve, Michaela and Dina.
The JMC kids club is also great - the staff there are really committed and spend additional time with the kids. You can pay 40 Euros and the kids can go to 2 evening parties and one day trip. It gets them out the pool for a day and gives you 2 evenings free to relax - plus our 8 yr old loved the events and had a great time, so we didn't feel guilty. The normal daytime or early evening kids clubs are free (even when they take them to the beach) as are the hotel's kids clubs sessions.
The pool and baby pool are both big and cold! you need it with the heat in August and the kids don't feel it. The kids playpark near the baby pool is also ideal for kids upto about 10 really. It's sand based.
Rooms are big and clean - basic but with free individually controlled air conditioning. Plus satelite TV with BBC channels. Towels are changed daily if you want and bedding regularly. You can request further pillows, blankets, etc. Safety deposit boxes are 30 Euros per fortnight and 3Euro deposit. Balconies are small but come with a hanging rack for towels and clothes, etc to dry.
Food is fresh and plentiful. Kids have their own buffet and staff take pride in refreshing all the food very often. Restaurant staff are very friendly and make a fuss of the kids. Fresh fruit is available at every meal.
The hotel is between the harbour and the main resort, so it's not too built up. A chemist is 2 mins away as is a parade of shops, bars and supermarkets. The beach is 10 mins walk across a busy road. There is a waterpark close by and a go karting track.
Sunbeds are free and mostly are the fixed flat ones. There are also plenty of parasols available free. The queue for the beds starts at around 8am and they open the doors at 8.30 - so the very few adjustable sunbeds tend to go at this point. There are no sunbed mattresses, many people bought cheap lilos and used them on top of the sunbeds for comfort. There's a no reserving policy except during meal times (8.30 is breakfast time). Food and drinks are available around the pool area throughout the day.
Can't wait for next year - at least there's no anxiety about what the hotel will be like and as many of the hotel staff were the same this year as last year, we look forward to having a great time next year too.

| said: Just returned from our 2nd stay at this hotel and didn't think it could get any better but how surprised we were. The hotel had not changed from the last time we visited but the entertainment crew topped the 1st time. The staff, some the same as last year, were excellent. The hotel was spotless again so a big thankyou to the cleaners who worked hard all day cleaning up after us lot. The food was great and although very basic on occasions there were fresh veg this year which was a plus on last year. The carvery was on most evenings and no-one went hungry unless you were a very fussy eater. Every evening we were greeted into the dining room by the staff which made us all feel good.
We joined in most of the daytime games which were very entertaining in themselves because of the crowd who made them all seem very exciting. A big thankyou to the entertainment team especially Chris, who we met last year, he was a fab entertainer, also Michaella, Dina, Marcio (ha ha ha) and Steve. If you didn't have fun with these guys it was your own fault for not wanting to. The kids entertainment was also great and the staff worked hard getting the little ones to join in.
The evening entertainment was an improvement on last year too. Some nights were professional acts (although the parrot show and karaoke twice during our stay was a little too much) and some nights were shows performed by the entertainment staff which were at times as good and professional as the 'pros'.
The pool was freezing at first but when you're dripping in sweat from the heat in august how refreshing. The little ones pool was shaded so great for paddling and no sun burn.
The hotel itself was very clean and the rooms basic but air conditioned for free. There is also a safe hire of 30 euros for two weeks. Towels and beds were changed frequently. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. There was also irons that were available free of charge and a washer and dryer that was a payable service.
The downside to the hotel were the sunbeds which there were not enough of. (more adjustables please). If you wanted a sunbed you had to queue at about 8 in the morning. There were plenty of tables and chairs though.
The hotel itself is situated close to the bars, shops and the beach (which is across a main road). Once at the beach its great for relaxing with very shallow waters.
This hotel is more suited to families and not so much for the older teenagers. The evening entertainment finishes around 12 but if you need to carry on then its time to hit the bars.
During our stay 8 couples were there from the same two weeks of last year. That says a lot about the hotel in itself. We met some fantastic people and returned this year to meet some dear friends Mandy, Liam and Charlotte who we met last year, also hi to Bob and Linda, the two Daves and families and Steve, Tereasa and family.
We said we would not book up for next year but upon looking round we have opted for the same again. We feel its safe, clean, great food and close enough to everything we need for a holiday. all thats left to say is adios and roll on next august.

I am so depressed now I am back home knowing Im missing all the fun! The food in the hotel was really nice even though it was basic there was plenty there to choose from.
I really loved the staff there they were so friendly I felt like I had known them for years! The bar staff were great, my 17 year old daughter fell in love with Francisco and Leo which is why I think we made the most of the unlimited drinks!
The entertainment staff were excellent Steve, Dina, Michela, Chris and Marcio our evenings were never dull! My daughter was very fond of them all so it was very sad for her to come home! She is planning on moving to Alcudia and becoming an entertainment rep!
I cannot say anything bad about the hotel it was perfect and we will definitley see them again next year!!

We could not fault anything the food was always fresh never just topped up. The cleanliness of the hotel was spotless and even if you had a request to the maids it was always done for you. The location of the hotel was fab as it was right in the middle so not far from the beach and not far from the resort centre but also quiet for you to get a good nights sleep as the bar closed at midnight but when you have children with you you are ready for bed by that time anyway especially after a day in the long hot sun.
I have never met any friendlier hotel staff in my entire stay as they accommodated your every need and you was alway greeted with a smile and a friendly hola.
Entertainment was unbeleivable also as there was always something going on and games and activities for you to join in with.

| said: We've just got back from a fab holiday! Hotel was very clean and our room was quite spacious. It was a 10 minute walk to the beach which we went to several times. Gorgeous white sand and the sea is shallow for quite a way out which makes it safer for children. My children went snorkelling and the fish swim around your feet too.
The food at the hotel was excellent, there was something for everyone to eat and the head waiter and his team made a big fuss with the children.
The pool is great although I think they should invest in a few more sunbeds as there was not enough to go round and there seems to be an 8.30am rush for them but there are plenty of tables and chairs.
The kids club reps are absolutely fabulous with the children. They have fun, fun, fun! When my son became ill they even gave him a card, which they all signed, and a present and were extremely helpful in arranging for a doctor to visit. The entertainment staff are also kept busy by arranging games everyday. They certainly all work hard for their money!!
The children made some lovely friends there and we did too! This is a very friendly hotel and I would book to go back in the future.

| said: We have just returned from the Delfin Verde and would like to say what an excellent holiday we had. Within 12 hours of getting home we have already booked up for next year.
The hotel was absolutely spotless and the cleaners were working all day to ensure that it stayed that way.
The two boys (7 and 5) played in the pool all day everyday and hardly wanted to leave the hotel. Our little girl (18 months) was hardly out of the pool either. There is a lifeguard on duty all day but obviously you need to keep an eye on the kids yourself.
The food was absolutely excellent, although there could have been more choice for the kids. Abdel the head waiter was a star as were all his staff, they are always going out of there way to play with the kids and make sure that they are having a good time. Several members of the restaurant staff stopped when they were not working and I was out walking our little one to make sure that she was alright. Although she fell in love with Abdel and was having a whinge when it was his day off.
The bar staff were very friendly and were also playing with the kids whenever they got time.
Marcio and Steve on the entertainment staff were working solidly all day making sure that people did not get time to get bored.
Overall this is an excellent holiday if you have a family, it probably wouldn't suit single people as it is all based around families.

| said: Booked a late deal in july 05 and ended up staying at the Delfin Verde. Went with husband and 3 children (aged 9,11,14). Had a great time.
The hotel food was really good. Breakfast (cereals bacon eggs sausage beans black pudding also continental) Lunch and dinner (soup, salads fish meat potatoes chips puddings) Childrens section could have been better but plenty of choice on adults section.
Drinks all local spirits only, even special cocktail everyday for both adults and kids
Location near to water park, 10 minute walk to all bars and resturants (not that thy were needed). Beach 10minute walk.
Hotel staff very friendly. Hotel Entertainment team Excellent. (Marsio Steve Dina Alex Chris worked hard well done) Lots of games during the day. I would recommend people to join in all good fun. You can even win a medal or a marina hat!!!
Thought going on an AI entertainment would be rubbish but not at this hotel Parrot show, grease, magician, Flamenco (not the normal show, more like river dance)
Only one problem when we arrived their wasn't any sun beds left because people who had arrived before us put towels on them and left them on for the whole of there stay. Even when they went out for the day. I only have one thing to say to them. Its not as bad if they sat on the beds all day but to leave your towels on them then go out on a day trip thats out of order.
Would definitely visit this hotel again.

We made friends easily with the waiters- PABLO, PEDRO, ISMAEL(there really hot!) and Francesco (there was another but i didnt catch your name sorry) who were all fantastic!
The rooms were nice with a great views of the mountains and the pool. I dont really think there was any negatives about the holiday because it was just so lush!
The beach was only a couple of minutes walk away but it was great to see Alcudia whilst walking there! the facilities were all up to a good standard, and what was better is that we went when liverpool were playing in the final and we still watched it!
Was the best holiday ever and will defo be back soon

| said: We went to this hotel for our honeymoon. I had never been on an AI holiday before but my wife had. We were both very impressed.
The food was second to none. It was excellent. There was everything you could ask for including fresh fruit, cereals at breakfast along with the traditional cooked bacon etc. The evening meal was even better although it's a shame that quite a few people didn't take notice of the "Gents must wear trousers for Evening Dinner" rule as many came in wearing shorts. On the whole though we were most impressed with the food and the restaurant staff.
The entertainment was a little tacky but enjoyable. The ABBA tribute band were excellent as were the Brazilian dancers. We did expect the mini disco to be a little more varied as it was the same dodgy Black Lace records in the same order every night. Also if I hear the Veo Veo song again I'm sure I'll go potty, it stuck in my head for days after returning home. The only qualm about the entertainment room was that it was far too smokey. Also there were numerous people smoking in the non smoking area. huh, we soon got them shifted. It needed more ventilation.
The bar staff were ace especially after working for what seemed like 14 hour shifts. Certain ones started at 10am and were stll there at midnight and still smiling and laughing.
As it was hot in October we were glad of the pool. Yes it was cold when you first got in but it was refreshing. The sea was warmer than the pool but it was still nice.
On the Saturday night there is a very loud disco across the road that goes on until 6am so we didn't get much sleep that night.
Generally we had an excellent time and would definitely go again. It was a brilliant honeymoon.

| said: With a late booking we were nervous about taking our 15-month old daughter to a hotel we knew nothing about (except the reviews on this website which were really helpful), however our worries were completely unwarranted.
We had my wife's parents (both in their 60s) with us, so our requirements were varied, having to find something to please all ages.
The welcome we received was friendly and professional, we didn't ever see a member of staff without a genuine smile on his or her face, and the entertainment crew gave their best. Although our daughter wasn't old enough to join the kids club, they included her where they could safely do so.
The food was varied, freshly cooked and plentiful. The buffet was well-presented and kept topped up, so latecomers to the restaurant won't be disappointed. There were several choices of courses, salads, vegetarian, carvery roasts, casseroles, hot and cold desserts, cheeses and fruits every day. The toasters at breakfast time got a bit busy as there were only 2! Microwaves and sandwich toasters were also readily available, and the children's buffet had about 5 choices every day too! An abundance of highchairs for the little ones, and never a shortage of tables.
The rooms were adequate and very clean. Air conditioning is available, but you have to ask for remotes from reception. TVs in all rooms, but not many English-speaking channels.
The pool wasn't heated, so going in October the sea was warmer and we spent loads of time at the beach. We were very impressed to see a life guard on duty at the hotel the whole time every day, keeping a close eye on the children's pool and occasionally getting chucked in by one of the waiters! The main road to the beach is quite busy, and the crossings are a must, where most car drivers will happily stop.
Our only warning to those who have young children is to take some non-slip waterproof footwear for them around the pools as the tiles are new and very slippery. We bought our daughter some rubber-foam-type sandals at a local supermarket and they probably saved her plenty of bruises!
The evening entertainment starts with a junior disco, then a fill-in section of bingo, quiz or something similar, followed by the main act which could range from a talent contest (pretty naff), to a really
talented and professional show (acrobats or Four Tops/Temptations tribute group), but loads of variety.
Our week flew far too quickly and we wish we had booked a fortnight. We will definitely be returning, the sooner the better! We would recommend this hotel to anyone with children, whatever their ages.

The hotel itself is lovely. Really modern and extremely clean. The cleaners seemed to be working 24/7 (and very brave cleaning our teenage sons rooms every day!) If we needed anything doing (we needed a bed moving into another room and one of the air con units wasn't working) it was dealt with straight away.
We had never been on an All Inclusive before and were a bit worried as we had heard stories about hotels providing the same foods every day of dubious quality. The food was absolutely wonderful - there was a massive variety every day and it was topped up with fresh food frequently. The restaurant staff were very friendly.
The snack bar was good if you were peckish or missed the restaurant.
If you were planning on going out for the day you could order a picnic the night before to take with you.
All of the staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and seemed to have a good sense of humour.
The entertainment was excellent. Probably not to everyones taste but we found it all very amusing. We just sat and watched on the first week but by the second week you couldn't get us off the stage!
The children's entertainers certainly did their job and there is variety of things going on throughout the day.
We had children with us ranging from 3 years old up to 15 years old and they all say it was the best holiday ever.
Would (and have!) recommend this place to everyone.

Entertainment for all ages from 10am run by the Marina entertainment team of Luke, Luis, Georgia and Karly was second to none. They work so hard they should be receiving the medals and diplomas given out every night at 9.30. Mini-Disco at 8.30pm was great fun and then the "adult" entertainment at night was fantastic. All rooms were spotless with maid-service every day. The food was 10/10 (confirmed by our newly made friend who is a head chef). JMC's Kids Clubs were superb with the reps all giving 100% and all very genuinely caring. Rachel the hotel-based JMC rep was also fantastic. We met some of the best people in the world which really made the holiday for us and will definitely return in the near future. Yes, there's a 10 minute walk across a main road to the beach, but we knew about that from the brochure. As it's all inclusive, who needs to leave the fabulous 2 pools and bar anyway?

Also from 10am - 6pm the bar served snacks, like hotdogs, burgers, baguettes, sandwiches, so you will not go hungry!!! There was also the bar, which served a good selection of drinks, and that was open from 10am to midnight. The beach was a short 10 minutes away, across a main road, and through some side roads, and that was very nice! I would definatly go there again, as we had a wonderful holiday!! The room was lovely and plenty of space for 5 of us. The hotel was lovely, especially the large reception area which was a great place to escape form the sun if need be. The food was okay, not brilliant. There was plenty on offer. It was never too hot, so I advise getting a hot plate. There are also snacks served all day - usual hot dogs, chips and burgers. But, you can also get salads and chiken and a variety of sandwiches. I don't think the drinks were very alcholic, but I still enjoyed them and wasn't planning on getting totally drunk anyway.
The pool was also lovely and I loved the fact that you didn't have to get up at the crack of dawn to reserve a bed as the doors don't open until 8.30am. I often joined in the games during the day, and my 8 year old was rewarded with certificates every night after competing. He spent lots of time in the kids club which he thoroughly enjoyed.
The beach is a short stroll across the road and is beautiful. the sea is clear blue and warm, I could have stayed there forever.
The only let down really was that the entertainment could have been better in the evening and the seating arrangement was more like that of a hospital waiting room.
WE had a great time and met many people and I would highly recommend it if you can get a good price. It's certainly not worth the £3777 they want from us this year!

| said: We have just come back from the Delfin Verde and had a wonderful time. We had our little girl with us who is nearly 5 and we couldn't keep her out of the water. The rooms are basic but how long are you in them for? The food was excellent, lots of choice, hot and plenty of it, the restaurant and bar staff work really hard. There was entertainment every day and evening, games in and around the pool, mini disco for the kids. We thought the evening entertainment was pretty good too, the best I've ever seen in a hotel. The hotel team and the JMC staff did a great job. The drinks were good and plenty of them, I must've saved a fortune on soft drinks around the pool. It was great to have a hotel with only Brits in, everyone spoke to everyone, we made some great friends who we are keeping in touch with.
Alcudia is a lovely place, the lovely old town and market, gorgeous beach with warm shallow water. The port area was very pretty at night with plenty of bars and restaurants if you didn't want to stay in the hotel. (We had to force ourselves out to see other things). When you find your way around you only have to walk 7 minutes in either direction and you are at the beach/bars/restaurants and water park. We will be back to this hotel.

| said: This was our first holiday that we took our then 2 year old daughter on,so we were looking for a family hotel in a good location. That is exactly what we got from Delfin Verde.
The hotel was lovely, very clean with great facilities. The staff were extremely friendly and loved children. Although our daughter was too young to join the kids club the staff made her feel very welcome whenever they could especially during the kiddie disco which she absolutley loved.
The only downside was that to get to the beach you had to cross a busy main road and we all know what the roads can be like over there!!Just use your common sense and the crossings you will be fine!!
The food was lovely, fresh and there was plenty of it.The chefs were always popping out to see if everthing was ok and Belle especially was very friendly(at the end of the holiday she gave our daughter a gift and also bought her camera in for a photo).
Overall the hotel was one of the best yet and i would definatley go back after we have travelled around.

| said: This hotel is a good 10-15 minute walk from the beach, after crossing a fast road.
The brochure states that Delfin Verde Marina is 'popular with British families' - but it is most popular of all families from the North of England - Newcastle, in particular. I think we were the only people to have flown from Gatwick - and we felt very, very out of place.
The food was all-inclusive - but catered to quite bland tastes (lots of tinned vegetables/blancmange). Nevertheless, there was plenty of it (served buffet style) It was great for the children as there was a free beach bar serving hotdogs and milkshakes most of the day.
Most families seemed to spend the whole holiday by the quite small and strangely shaped swimming pool, glugging 'alcoholic drinks' which were also all-inclusive.
Luckily, these were heavily watered-down, so there was no-one got too rowdy - although we were awoken at 2am one morning by one violent-sounding man screaming at his wife and throwing things around, and by his terrified young children running into the corridor crying. There was no-one on reception at the time, and the security guard who eventually answered the call did not want to intervene ...
The 17 year-old couple in the room on the other side, seemed to spend most of their time shagging against the wall or spitting over the balcony.
There was an aroma of sewage outside the hotel - this is not to say that it was anything to do with Delfin verde, as there are other properties close by, but it certainly did not add to the ambience.
We went on lots of excursions, which were all lovely - especially Valdemossa and Palma Cathedral.
The beach, once you go there was also very nice. There was a new block of toilets on the section we went to, which was handy as there was no way you could just pop back to the hotel for anything. Lots of nice beach bars, too which were all fairly cheap.
We preferred to spend our evenings walking along Alcudia beach, visiting the bars of other hotels and listening to their entertainment, rather than enduring children's karaoke and other delights on offer at the Delfin Verde.
I never witnessed any organised sports or recreation - other than the kids club where lots of small children were taken to the beach in the midday sun - which you're advised to avoid in the peak holiday months - without hats or any real protection from the sun.
A genuine two-star experience - but very over-priced for some reason. However, what you see in the brochure is what you get. One final point - when choosing your hotel, if there are lots of 'filler' pics, such as close-ups of children's face-painting, that could have come from any hotel, it's probably one to avoid.
