Staff were so friendly and food was excellent with a lot of choice at every sitting. We certainly had good value with the All-Inclusive package. Would recommend. Several steps around the hotel so perhaps not suitable for people with walking difficulties.

The rooms are not spacious at all, they are quite small in fact, very basic but were quite clean.
The food is ok. Very plain and very greasy, even the non-greasy dishes were greasy! If you enjoy truckers food you'll enjoy this food.
Entertainment is poor.
Pool is very packed and not worth trying to go for a swim.
The sea is nice but the beach to the sea is packed.
Hotel staff are ok, the reception staff can be a bit abrupt and unhelpful.
There are many faults with this hotel and its sister hotel the 'Corfu' which they need to look at soon.
All in all a very below par 3 star hotel which is not worth a second visit.

We were very dissapointed!
Staff are rude, food is like eating in a greasy cafe, all food seems to have been cooked in a ton of lard. You have to queue for 15-20 minutes to get a drink from the bars. Very noisy and busy and no way of getting a sunbed unless you get up at 7:00 am and reserve one with your towels, which you are not supposed to do according to the rules of the hotel but this is broken by everyone and all the other rules, nobody enforces any of the rules here.
All in all below par 3 star hotel, will not stay again and feel very cheated of a nice holiday.
Enough said!

The rooms are spacious with 3 beds in but still plenty of room to manouve and were cleaned with towels changed daily, and a good air con machine which came in very handy, the dining hall is large never once did we have to get wait for a table.
You are met at the doors by the restaraunt staff or the manager who may i say is drop dead gorgeous, my niece had a large crush on him, he looks like Donny Osmond what more can i say!The food is excellant always a large selection for everyone even a veggie section, you dont go hungry try the moose its gorgeous.
Around the whole of the hotel is plenty of seating in or outside so you can relax when need be. Entertainment is mediocre but the comidian is halarious, also the Beatles tribute is worth watching too.Magdalana the Polish woman behind the bar is lovely we all took a shine to her,The pool is very hard to get a bed around we only managed it once in the 2 weeks we were there but the sea is like a pool anyway so thats were we went to.
What more can I say no faults whatsoever only just mind the floor and stairs they are VERY slippery.
We are all going back next year its that good cant wait!

The location is fantastic and we had stunning views from our room, I really loved the area just a short walk from the hotel and you are on the headland with nothing but sea for miles. A short walk in the opposite direction and you come across the centre of Cala Egos and there are enough shops, bars and restaurants to meet most peoples needs but no clubs you need to go in to Cala D'or for that which is a 5 Euro taxi ride or 3 Euro return on the little train.
The hotel was spotless our room was cleaned every day and the beds changed twice in the week that we were there and the towels changed as often as you wanted, just put the dirty ones in the bath and they will leave you clean ones. All the staff were very happy and friendly and although the rules state only 2 drinks per person, after the 1st day and they got to know your face you could get more than that especially if you dropped a coin in their tip box, they ring the bell every time they get a tip.
The entertainment was not very good but I have put this down to it being the 1st week that they were open and they were still getting organised, but there was no doubt at all that all the entertainment staff worked really hard and I'm sure it will improve greatly as the season progresses.
The Food!! I don't know where to start really as I was so dissapointed, there wasn't really anything wrong with it apart from it could have been hotter, which it seemed to be in the Corfu the couple of times we ate over there. There was very little variety and they seem to think that we want to eat English dishes all the time, there was Chicken Pie,Steak and Kidney Pie,Sheperds Pie,Cottage Pie,Liver and Onions you get the picture!
Spinach Cannellonni was on offer on 3 of the 1st 5 days and Spring Rolls on 2 of the 1st 3 days, this was on the vegeterian selection that also has Cauliflower or Broccolli in batter and Stuffed tomatoes and every day hard boiled eggs with a different topping. There was a rice dish every day with a different name but I'm sure it was the same one. Paella finally came out on Saturday lunchtime but it wasn't worth waiting for. They also had some lovely Mussels on Saturday lunchtime. There were fish dishes but to be honest a lot of them looked like something the cat had brought up especially the Andulasion Cuttlefish which was still completely untouched at the end of service.
The sweets were fine but again the same old things every day
We are not fussy eaters and have stayed AI lots of times but I was so dissapointed that despite the fantastic location we will not be going back to this hotel unless they can sort out the food.
I would love to go back to the area and we maylook into hiring a villa next year.

ROOMS: Fantastic standard for 3* hotel, tidy and comfortable - corridors of hotel always clean and well lit.
FOOD: Good quality but not diverse - during a two week stay we would've eaten elsewhere alot which defeats the all inclusive factor.
LOCATION: Perfect really, peaceful and relaxed but enough bars within walking distance or short cab ride to please everyone.
STAFF: All friendly and professional.
ENTERTAINMENT: These guys are very good with the kids - poolside games in the day and disco/competitions in the evening. Visiting tribute bands/shows and karaoke all good too.
All in all a good family holiday - be careful with your younger children tripping as some of the stone steps (near mini golf and beach area) are a little tricky for toddlers. It's a very european hotel with visitors from all over. Sadly the only disruption was caused by a group of guys from the UK, (north of the border!!) who wanted to fight the barstaff for no reason. Don't come here if you're single.

We arrived to be informed the hotel was over booked and we had to go over to the Corfu hotel! 3 other families and the same problem on the same day!
This used to be a good hotel but its standards have slipped sharply. We have been here 5 times since 2000 but this time around it had lost its sparkle. The staff have been halved and they are worked off their feet. Their is less choice of food and most of it is cold by the time you get to eat it.
There are many good reviews on here for this hotel but I can only say that their expectations are not high. As 3 star hotels go this has now become very average and I'm afraid that this hotel and its sister hotel are being run down, I'd expect these hotels to be closed down within 5 - 10 years. If you want a noisy time at night with a lot of shouthing, laughing and chair movement then come here, if you want a more relaxing time then avoid the Skorpios.
Alas we used to love this place but it has become so dire now we will not return again, it's a sad day.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Saved loads of money through the fact that children are able to get unlimited drinks, crisps, ice creams and lollies from the hotel bar.
Food was excellent - buffet style had food for even the fussiest eaters.
Used the creche on 3 occasions, the 2 yr old was happy gave her time to chill out, out of the sun.
Location couldn't have been better directly beside a lovely beach - about a 2 min walk to small resort of Cala Egos where you'll find shops, bars and restaurants.
only went to entertainment on a couple of occasions but found it to be of a good standard.
Hotel pool area seemed very good, what I also found exceptional was the fact that there was life guards around the beach and pool areas.
Overall this hotel would be great for a relaxing family break however may not be suitable for teenagers as not a lot for them to do.
Also just a quick note transfer time to this resort is about 1 and half hours - does seem longer though!!

The food was excellent espesially the breakfasts.
The staff couldn't be more helpfull. My 2 year old loved the fact that treats were unlimitted and it saved us a fortune.
The beach was brilliant, however we found that the sunbed man arrived a little late and that people used the beach as an ash tray we constantly were removing cigarette ends.
The idea of life guard on the pool is great, the pool however was really busy .
It is not often that I would consider revisiting the same place but I would love to go again. We loved it!!!

The food was in abundance, the fussiest of eaters would find it hard not to like something.
The cleanliness of the hotel strikes you as soon as you walk in. It is spotless. You see a lot of the cleaning staff working all through the day [as well as giving lollipops out to the children].
The kids clubs were well organised and the children enjoyed them. The activities throughout the day around the pool run by Caroline and Marco were excellent. There were games for adults as well as the kids. There was no time for anyone to be bored. Also the free drinks and snacks for the kids was a godsend.
The adult entertainment at night was a bit shaky to start with the first couple of nights, but it got better as the days went on.
A truly enjoyable holiday, only one regret was that we could not bottle the view from the hotel balcony. AWESOME.

The hotel room was better than I would expect from a 3 star and the view was exceptional.Towels were changed everyday which was wonderful.
The Marina entertainment staff Marco and Caroline were brilliant with the kids, getting them involved in games all day (and us adults as well)Come back next year you two!!
There was plenty of food to cater for all requirements, including getting warm milk at bedtime for the 2 year old was no problem.

The staff are ok same as any other spanish hotel nothing different.
Entertainment was average nothing special.
I would not go to this hotel again because of the food everything else was fine.

The food is good, maybe not up to Gordon Ramsey standards but there is something for everyone and it is always fresh.

We only booked two weeks before going and I was a bit wary about there being a lot of children there, but as our holiday was the last week in Sept and the first week in October, we thought there wouldn't be many there, wrong!
The hotel was nice and clean, though not any cleaner than any other hotels we have stayed at.
The staff were very nice and friendly and the room was fine.
I thought the food was marvellous considering how many people they were catering for, a good selection, well cooked and no skimping as to how much you could eat.
We didn't watch all the entertainment but what we did see was far better than anywhere we have stayed before.
The only down side was the children running about and shouting while the people were trying to perform.
If I was taking children I wouldn't hesitate to go again, but I didn't feel it was a good choice for couples on their own.
However, I would not hesitate to recommend it to families.

The food was really good, always hot with plenty of choice. There is a separate vegetarian buffet, carvery and a kids only buffet. I can't imagine anybody not being able to have a meal they enjoy. There was a different choice every night of our 2 week stay. The breakfast also had everything needed for a full English, or choice of cereals, toast, croissants, cold meats, cheeses, etc. The restaurant staff are always busy replenishing the food and clearing tables.
The room was cleaned every day with all fresh towels every day. The rest of the hotel was also kept very clean.
The location is superb, right on the beach of a lovely cove. The sea is excellent for swimming, warm and clear, and is very safe for kids.
The pool area is at the top of the beach, so everything is very close to the hotel.
The staff were all friendly, helpful and spoke English. Any queries or problems are quickly solved in a friendly manner. They certainly seem to be there to ensure you have a good holiday.
The entertainment was on every night. It always started with the mini disco for the kids, and then sometimes a spot of bingo , then the visiting act. Some of these were excellent, such as a Beatles tribute band, and others were a bit iffy. But it's a good spot to sit and relax with a drink while the kids play.
I would definitely visit again. It was full of British families, so if you are a couple looking to relax it may not be for you, but for families it is excellent.

| said: I would have never chosen this hotel if it wasn't for the reviews I read on this site and I feel I must contribute with my own review so here goes!
I travelled with my wife and 2 kids (4yrs & 18mths)
Hotel rooms - These were cleaned, towels changed and beds made every day, even to the point that the chambermaids folded our childrens pyjamas and placed them on their pillows and put shoes on racks.
Public areas - Spotless - like others have said there is always someone cleaning, the outside terrace is somewhere nice to sit and enjoy a drink before or after dinner.
Beach - The best part! The kids loved it - safe, soft sand and crystal clear water with lots of fish so get yourself a snorkel set (10 euros from local shop) - even my 4yr old was doing it. I must admit I did have to lay the towels down in the morning just so we could get the perfect position, we then hired the sunbeds off the man on the beach - 4 euros each.
Pool - Very busy and unless you want to queue to get a sunbed first thing in the morning, there are none to be had - there are plenty of chairs avaiable though. At about 3-4pm a lot of people start heading off. This is when we came off the beach to use the pool area. The pool itself is great. They have built a new small kids/baby pool ajoined to what is now the main pool.
Bars - Lounge bar - Excellent service as this is the only place where the kids use their all inclusive allowance they as many soft drinks, crisps, Ice cream, and lollies as they want from 10am-10pm. The staff are extremely patient and helpful and they make a good sangria!and also did daily cocktails for 2 euros - bargain!
The Pool bar - Good service and good food for a snack at lunchtime. They always have a daily special, e.g. pizza + glass of wine 4 euros. Don't miss Thursday - fresh paella day, WE DID !!!! this is also where the main evening entertainment takes place. The kids enjoyed the mini disco, even if it was the same music every night. I think they try to get the little ones to learn the moves - it was really easy to spot the people who had been there for 2 weeks!
Food - Well... why is it that because we are british that they feel that we need eat british food in Spain. Yes, the food was hot and and the kids had their own section (burgers, nuggets, chips and beans mainly), BUT there was always a roast something, everything was out of a tin or packet (Veg and cakes)and for me the last straw was the night they called English night where we had Lancshire Hot Pot, Chicken pie, Fish (their version) & Chips and roast beef. No local dishes at all during the week we were there, which was a shame. Please Skorpios, where is the Paella and fresh seafood and meat cooked in the sauces from your country. Don't let this put you off though - it isn't bad enough for it to spoil the holiday. On a plus note, the breakfast choice was good and every night the bar area where you had to get your drinks from in the restaurant had a "wine of the day" average price 8 euros (

The kids had a brilliant time. Hotel was right on the beach, which is a small sandy cove.
The swimming pool was a good size and warm.

The rooms were spotless as was the fridge. We also had a kettle in the room which was a bonus. Cleaners were excellent.
No complaints about this hotel at all.
The food was fantastic piping hot and lots of choice and fresh warm bread rolls at each meal. Have just returned and want to book again for next year.
The kids didn't want to come home, they loved the mini disco and kids club.
Fantastic hotel, fantastic staff, fantastic location. If you have booked a holiday here go and enjoy.

The staff are amazing... they will do absolutely anything to help. At one point during our stay our daughter slipped in the bathroom (not the hotel's fault) and cut her chin. The manageress (Natalia - an absolute star) was there immediately to help, and even accompanied my wife and daughter to the hospital in Palma.
Even the cleaning staff were friendly and 'part of the team', giving out free lollipops to the children whenever they passed by. If anybody in the hotel had a birthday, the staff would bring out a birthday cake especially for them. This is a huge credit to the organisation.
As a vegetarian, I normally have a big problem with 'buffet-style' food. However, there is a separate vegetarian area of the dining room, and during the two weeks of our stay there was never a duplicated main meal. On our final evening we planned to eat out of the hotel, but instead stayed in and were treated to a vegetarian paella with a side helping of stuffed courgette. The only negative on the food front are the desserts, which are quite bland and 'cheap' (jelly's etc).
The 'all-inclusive' for the kids was great. There are free ice lollies, ice creams, crisps, and drinks available from 10 to 10, and the waiters are so patient and friendly to the children. We hadn't expected this, so were really impressed. It's a pity that this wasn't available from the pool bar, but this is only a minor grumble.
The evening entertainment was good, with a mixture of singing, magic, comedy etc. During the day the kids were entertained not only by the First choice kids club but by the hotel entertainment staff who really worked hard and got to know them.
The only negatives about this hotel are the beds (I couldn't wait to get back to my own bed), and the pool size (really not big enough for the number of children and adults using it).
Apart from that, everything else is excellent and we would certainly return

The hotel grounds were also kept very clean.
The food got a bit repetitive towards the end of our stay.
The hotel entertainment was good we stayed most nights as Cala Egos hasn't got much for young children to do. The bar staff always very busy and friendly.
We intend to return next year as the holiday overall was fantastic but the hotel doesn't feature in any of next years brochures yet.

The evening entertainment isn't quite as good but still enjoyable. Pirates is a must see show, expensive but well worth it.
We tended to go outside hotel for a sandwich at dinner and would reccomed English run Scooby Doo's. Great value for money.
On a whole this hotel is fantastic and we will definately go there again sometime.

The steps down to the swimming pool and beach are a real pain if you have a buggy. The kids get a wrist band to get free drinks, ice cream and crisps. The only problem is that these are only available from the main bar in the hotel!. Not from the pool bar.
Makesure you get down to the pool at around 8.45 to get a reclining sunbed. Its a bit sad, but if you dont you wont get a good space by the pool unless you go down this early. The pool bar food is good, but they always seem to muddle up everyones order, makesure you always check your bill!.
The entertainment in the first week was rubbish, but in the second week it got better. Makesure you stay and see a group called 4bidden. They were really brilliant. Their is a lovely pub called Sparkles, they are so friendly and have a brilliant band on a Thursday night called wazzup!.
You have got to see them!
Elise looks after the children. Balloons, face painting, party games etc. She is lovely. Also the pony rides in a play park near the hotel are fab!. My little girls loved them. We would visit this hotel again.

The hotel and rooms were very clean and cleaned daily. Our room had a lovely view of the sea. We also had a fridge and tv in our room.
The food become a little repetative over the week, but overall there was a good choice and the food was always hot.
Our main grumble about this hotel was there was not enough room and sunbeds around the pool. We never got to sit around the pool once and this was out of kids' holidays. We therefore had to sit on the beach, but were charged 4 euros for each sunbed. Also the sea was full of jelly fish and there were lots of people getting stung.
The entertainment was good when they brought in outside acts, but was very boring when the hotel staff put on a show, which was every other night.
All in all we had a good holiday, but would not go back to this hotel.

All staff are very polite and friendly.
It is very clean - you see cleaners cleaning everywhere at all times of the day. The rooms are cleaned every day too.
The deputy manageress is around all the time, is very friendly, chattng to you at breakfast, greeting you for dinner and even joining in with the mini disco.
The food is of a very high standard. There is a very good selection for breakfast, fruit, pastries, cooked, cereal.
There is a big selection for dinner too, catering for everyone.
The free crisps, ice creams, ice lollies and drinks are excellent for the children and saved us a fortune!
The rooms are quite a good size as there were 4 of us, with our bed, our daughters and a cot for our other daughter and there was still enough room and plenty of storage space.
A real bonus is the fridge in the room at no extra cost - this was great for cooling a couple of bears and chocolate for the children!
There is a nice size pool and it was nice to see a life guard there every day, which is quite unusual abroad.
The hotel is right on the beach, but beware of the jelly fish, my daughter got a sting on her foot!
The only down side are the steps, you have to use them to get to the beach, the pool or the kids club (which is held in the sister hotel opposite). It was a bit of a pain with the pram, but the location of the hotel looking down on the beach was gorgeous.
The First Choice Kids Club is very good too.
I emailed the hotel the week before asking for a sea view on a high floor and this request was met. A word of warning if you are at the back, it is a bit smelly - drains I think!
We were there for a week in early May and the first 5 days it was lovely and empty, but towards the end, it did get very busy and breakfast and dinner were quite busy, but there was plenty of food which was replenished all the time.
It did get very busy on the beach and by the pool though, so I am not sure what it will be like in the height of summer.
If you have booked a holiday there, I am sre you will not be disappointed - we will go back one day.

1st Went to the Skorpios back in 2001 for a week, loved it and came back for 2 weeks in 2003, best holiday ever then.
Back again in May 2005 and the hotel, although on a whole is still good, it's not as good, the place has lost its charm and fun.
The food is not as good as it used to be, less selection, food not as fresh, cut backs on tablecloths(the food area looks like a cafe rather than a restaurant now.)
The Entertainment staff seem like just people employed to do a job, no bubbly personalities. The entertainment staff from 2003 were fantastic, had things going on around the pool every 15 minutes or so, not now, very few games around the pool.
Staff on the whole are still as helpful and friendly as ever.
Cleaning staff are also as busy and good as ever.
On the whole quite a good holiday, a dissapoinment however due to staying at the hotel before and having seen higher standards at the hotel.
2 years ago this hotel could have been 4 star, now in only deserves its 3 star rating.
Come on Skorpios get your act together go back to the good old days stop the cost cutting!
Will probably go back but not for a while, just to give them one more chance.

The bar staff are tireless, miguel the head barman looks like he drinks a litre of strong coffee before each shift.
The cleaners never seem to stop and the hotel manageress can be seen meeting and greeting guests.
The entertainment staff have a mini disco at 8 pm for the kids, and yes you will be humming the songs for months. The main attractions follow at 9pm.

The cleanliness of the Hotel is outstanding as is the politeness and helpfulness of the staff.
The location of the sandy cove next to the Hotel is absolutely perfect for small children. The pool area is spotlessly clean and there was always a lifeguard on duty, which was very reassuring.
The variety of food was extensive and the provision of unlimited drinks, crisps, ice-cream and ice lollies for the children (all included in your half board costs) is an excellent idea and saves parents an immense amount of money.
The only drawback is perhaps the distance of the Hotel from the airport (approx 1hr 45 mins) but on arrival at the Hotel it is worth that little extra travelling.

| said: This hotel is very good.
The staff are helpful and courteous.
The hotel is spotless clean and the rooms, whilst not palatial, are adequate and comfortable.
The food is very good; the standards in some Spanish hotels leaves a lot to be desired but at the Skorpios hotel, they are really trying to please their customers. There is lots of variety and plenty of food. They do not skimp. You can have as much or as little as you wish.
The entertainment staff are very enthusiastic and lively but sometimes a bit OTT. Some of the time we didn't stop but went for a little walk instead. And that is the only drawback with this place.
Cala Egos is a small cove near to Cala d'or but there is no seafront or promenade as such because the hotel is right on the rocky headland and the sea views are lovely. So, in the evening after dinner, there is not very many places to walk to except the terrace or up into the village to one of the pubs.
There are three supermarkets in Cala Egos, a tobacco shop, a couple of car rental places and two perfume shops. There are also a few cafes and restaurants.
The pub called 'Rumours' is a British pub and the sandwiches there are very good and only cost two euros.
There isn't a great deal more to say apart from we had a lovely holiday in a beautiful place with a very good hotel. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to 'get away from it all' for a little while.
There is also the little 'road train' that will take you on a round trip for three euros (return). You can get off and on again at any of the stops. It runs hourly and stops in front of the hotel and is very handy if you wish to go into Cala d'or itself.

The buffet style breakfast and evening meal were excellent, plenty of choice and plenty of it.
The hotel staff were always pleasant and helpful and there was always someone cleaning something !
The view from our room looked out over the cove and the beach is at the bottom of the hotel steps. The sea was very clear - bring your snorkel gear with you.
The rep entertainment was very poor (maybe they are getting bored with the same routine towards the end of the season), although other 'imported' entertainment was of much higher quality.
The only other problem was an awful smell coming from the drains on the approach road to the hotel - a minor detail if could hold your nose long enough !
I would defintely recommend this hotel and would defintely stay again.

| said: We had a fabulous holiday, one of our best ever. The location is wonderfull being at the side of the little beach and cove of Cala Egos, a very safe and pleasant situation. Don't miss the chance to snorkel and hand feed with bread the hundreds of fish out in the cove (a really amazing experience)
The rooms and indoor public areas are very clean, well decorated and furnished, the pool area is also very well kept although the pool area being shared between two hotels gets crowded (we were there in peak season)
However a second pool is now discreetly under construction.
One small downpoint for us (because we liked to sit and have a drink here) was that the floors of the two terraces by the hotel were stained in places with spilt drinks and although swept at least once every day, they were never washed whilst we were there.
The kids were staying on an all inclusive basis, they had a whale of a time with this, it also saved us a fortune.
The variety and standard of food was excellent, full english breakfast every morning and a wide choice for evening meal to suit everyone.
The staff were always friendly and helpfull and had the patience of saints with the kids, the two guys working in the main hotel bar quickly learned all the kids names and looked after them well.
If you are looking for a safe, high standard, value for money family holiday you will find it here.
Just one last point, the beach side of the hotel has a wonderfull view, the other side looks onto the back of holiday apartments and there could be a slight smell of drains at times when walking along the road.
I wish there was more space for me to write here as I could sing the praises of this hotel for a lot longer.
My wife and kids are urging me to book to go here again for 2005. I am very tempted but it is a big world out there.

The Staff were extremely friendly. Our 18 month old son's teeth might need attention from all the lollies and sweets he received. The entertainment staff were hard working especially Mark (the boss).
The place was spotless, new towels every day, beds and rooms cleaned every day, pool cleaned every day, I think you get my drift.
The food was superb, with lots of choice and different each day. There was a childrens section as well with plenty of choice.

| said: Where should i start? I feel that i should write this review as it was because of the previous reviews that we actually booked this holiday.
Thank goodness people have taken the time, as thanks to those reviews we experienced the best package holiday we have ever had.
This hotel is very well situated by a lovely safe beach, the water is incredibly clear. Right next to this is the pool, which we did'nt find too crowded at all. It did get busy but even without joining the 6.00am risers who reserve their sunbeds, we still managed to be close enough every day to be able to keep a good eye on the kids.
The children (two boys aged 5 and 8)thoroughly enjoyed the kids clubs, which were well organised and very well staffed. This gave us some time to ourselves to discover cala egos the little town a very short walk from the back of the hotel.
This town had a very good selection of gift shops, bars and restaurants. Unfortunately due to the amazing quality of the hotel food, we didnt get to sample the local restaurants, but the bars are very good indeed.
Going back to the hotel food, we found it to be of very good quality and a very good choice. Between the four of us we didnt have one meal that was not top quality. Not bad for a 3 star hotel.
The hotel was also kept remarkably clean. It wasnt possible to go in or out of the hotel without seeing someone, somewhere cleaning. The staff work very hard. They are also very friendly.
The entertainment at the hotel was good, a couple of nights were excellent when a peking circus act was on and a Tina Turner tribute entertained us. Very good indeed.
We went on an excursion to western water park, which all of us thorougly enjoyed. A great place for kids and adults with stunt shows and falcon shows in between using the waterslides, the length of time spent there was perfect to get everything done.
We also recomend the Yates party night, a short organised bus trip into Cala d'or with the reps working very hard to make it a memorable night, everyone had a great time.
Well i could go on for a lot longer about this fantastic hotel, needless to say we will be returning. Just don't tell too many people or we not get in!

Walking distance to the shops and restaurants but food at the hotel restaurant is great, has several varity dishes each day. Free ice cream and drinks for the kids.
Rooms were clean and air con was a delight. Sky news only on tv, however there is entertainment each night from 9 till late. Kids are kept busy in the free kids club. Enjoy

Food is of great quality, fair priced drinks and meals on site, kids club is great for relaxing for a couple of hours.
We stayed at the end of August beginning of September and it was not at all busy, you could find a spot near the pool or on the beach.
Staff are excellent, the fact that the kids get free drinks, crisps, lollies and ice cream is a big bonus.
I don't really think I can do it justice on this review, would go back again and again.

The location was superb, and taxis were very cheap to go into the town centre. Being right on the beach I could laze by the pool and watch my kids playing happily on the beach
Entertainment was not really my cup of tea but my 2 eldest enjoyed it and I felt so happy with the hotel and staff in general that I was happy to leave them to their own devices in the evening to watch entertainment while I kept my 6 year old busy.
All in all a fab holiday and would most definitely go back

What a result my partner and i had. Booked 12 days prior to departure on an allocated on arrival basis, lucky enough to end up at Marina Skorpio Hotel, including public areas, kept a very high standard of cleanliness.Clean towels every day. All rooms have air conditioning.
Food was superb with tremendous amount of choice and variety including vegetarian and kids choices.
Hotel located right on the beach at cala egos with cala egos centre 5 minutes away.5 EURO taxi ride to cala dor or 20 minute walk round the marina.
Pool area could get a little crowded but decent pool bar for snacks and plenty of sun beds but if you dont get there early you could end up back a bit from the pool which could be a good thing if you dont want splashed to much. You can hire sunbeds at 3.6 euros per day on the beach if you dont want the pool.It is a child friendly beach, not to big, with gently sloping sands.
The hotel staff were excellent from start to finish.Nothing was to much trouble. Even this morning for our 06.30am departure a continental breakfast with coffee, tea, fruit juice was available.
Plenty of entertainment going on for adults and kids during the day and also at night.
I would have no hesitation about recommending this hotel to anyone and i for one will be back. One point however better exchange rate in cala egos than in the hotel. About 4 euros better if you cash a

| said: This was our first family holiday abroad and we were not disappointed with the marina skorpios. Walked into our room out to the balcony and the sea view was stunning. Staff were all very helpful and friendly.
Food was excellent and the kids loved getting the free treats of ice cream, ice lollies and drinks. Entertainment was good with games for adults and children by the pool every day and the shows at night. Took a taxi to Cala dor and walked back through the harbour one night took about 25 mins but it was a lovely walk.
Only stayed for one week but will definetly be going back for two weeks next time as the kids didnt want to leave and neither did we. Would recommend going on one of the glass bottom boat trips which leave just across from the hotel.
Would definetly recommend the Skorpios to anyone with a family.

The hotel was very clean, the food was fantastic, the location great, staff very friendly, entertainment not too bad.
We enjoyed it that much,we went back in August. The all inclusive for the children was a real bonus. The only downside was the beds by the pool, you had to be up early to get one.
I have to say it is one of the best holidays we have had.we are even going back in June 2006.

The Hotel was kept to imaculate conditions, the staff where very outgoing, friendly and helpful.
Food was of a high standard with a good and varied selection for any fussy eater.
Good location right next to the beach, pool not to busy at that time of year, all kept very clean and tidy.
Entertainment was OK with some good acts, but not much to do if the weather is bad.

The food choice and quality is extensive with something for everyone, and the location of the hotel is lovely with beach and sea views from your balcony. The staff are friendly and courteous and the entertainment is very good with nightly shows and quiz nights. We will certainly be returning next year.

The food was 5* quality, the staff were extremely friendly and couteous the rooms were air conditioned and spotlessly clean. The outdoor facilities were also excellent which are located on the beach this is an ideal safe hotel particularly for children

| said: this hotel is excellent, we have visited there twice now, its brilliant for a safe holiday with children as they can't really go far out of the resort.
its so nice to walk down and have the beach and sea right below or to look out of your balcony and see the sea.
cala egos is very quiet , a few shops and bars but it has a little adventure park with crazy golf and kiddy rides opposite the hotel and trampolines.
cala d'or is 15 minute walk away or short taxi ride for more bars shops restaurants.
the entertainment is very good, staff are friendly, location with beach is superb and food has such a wide choice.... all in all its a very nice hotel, and very relaxed , you will enjoy this holiday.

| said: We just got back today from a week's holiday at the Skorpios Marina (with Sunset). It was a lovely relaxing week. The hotel is excellent, very clean with good air conditioning thank goodness! The staff are very pleasant, friendly and helpful and we didn't have to pay Ecotax. We were also happy to pay 33 Euros for a late check out on Saturday as we were not due to fly out of Palma until 4 AM Sunday and didn't want to be without a room from 12 noon, though I believe they had a courtesy room.
The food was quite good, though as usual not a great choice for vegetarians like myself.
The hotel bar was empty at night as everyone would sit around the pool area (shared with the Corfu Marina) where the entertainment took place. We didn't attempt to use the pool since it is far too small for use by guests from one hotel never mind two!!!! We swam in the sea, unfortunately it was full of garbage by the afternoon which was very off putting. As our rep told us it was mainly down to the glass bottom boats dumping their rubbish we didn't take a boat trip as planned, which was a pity. We also had a lot of jellyfish a couple of days mid week.
I would definitely recommend this hotel as it has excellent facilities considering its size. I don't think the larger Corfu Marina opposite has air conditioning.
All in all a good holiday.

| said: Enjoyed our stay at the hotel, staff very heplfull, food was reasonable and the selection pretty varied, however think there is room for improvement.
The rooms where quite small (o.k for two people otherwise a bit tight for poeple with children sharing)very clean though and we were lucky to get a great view looking out onto the med!
Pool is shared with another hotel so sunbeds where a bit of a strugle unless you want to be up at around 7:30am to reserve them! actual pool was not crowded but surounding area was as two hotels have use of it.
Lunch at the pool bar is pretty exspensive and limited if you have a family, but you can get a good lunch at some of the nearby resturants for about the same cost as the pool side bars snack menu.
Local bars and resturants were quite nice, however, cala egos (where you will be staying not cala dor)is quite a small resort. cala dor is abount a ten minute journey from the hotel and cala dor marina is worth a visit if you like drooling over million pound boats!
Overall, our four children and ourselves enjoyed the holiday and would not have a problem recomending it.

The entertainment is excellent, provided by the hotel itself. I did not use the JMC entertainament, no need to as all kinds of activities were provided by the hotels entertainment team. And its not just for kids, I had the time of my life. I played football everday, volleyball, water volley, and water polo. We had a great laugh in the pool playing the water games, loved it.

| said: I went to this hotel a couple of years ago. It was brilliant, and the beach is only at the bottom of the hotel. It's great to walk straight from the pool to the beach and sea. The only thing I didn't like about Cala D'or, is that there's not many places to go to from here, unless you hire a car. Cala D'or is a pretty place, and nice and quiet. The entertainment in the evenings was average, and the food was very good. I'd definately go back here again, to this family hotel.
