| said: Hotel San Francisco - the room wasnt big enough to swing a cat in really when you have 2 adults and 2 children you dont expect 2 double beds especially when one is 4 and the other 13.
The food was ok but basic it seemed some days as if the leftovers from the day before had been made into something else. You were better off going to the counter and having something made fresh. Also at the evening meal drinks weren't provided you had to buy them and they were a bit expensive.
The beach was a bit dirty cigarette ends rubbish everywhere also it was a steep climb there and back.

| said: The hotel itself was very clean, definitely could not fault that in any way but the staff are extremely unfriendly and all they seem to want is your money all the time, costs are high for every single thing, total rip off city.
Words of advice, do not travel to Salou and stay in this hotel in October as there is absolutely no entertainment whatsoever for the children far less the adults.
It is also a shame that Salou has adopted the Euro as the prices have gone sky high and they are totally taking the Michael out of the tourists, e.g. party of 3 adults and 4 kids, breakfast came to 70 Euros which works out at over 50 quid.
Breakfast is only served between 8.00 till 9.45am and your evening meal which is rubbish, is only served between 7.00 till 8.00pm in October.
Watch out for the cats as they are everywhere.
I do not understand why Britain sticks to strict regulations as we are in the European Union but unfortunately Salou does not!!!!

| said: We stayed at this hotel on a half board basis the rooms were cleaned every day the dinners were nice and a chef would cook certain meats at a stand. The breakfast was not so good. We went to salou last year as well and it is the best family holiday place we have been to. There is plenty of entertainment and port aventura is a must. This year we visited the water park aqua polis were we seen a dolfin and sea lion show if you buy the tickets before you get there you don't have to pay on the bus but costa caribe is cheaper.
Bars to go to at the night are Charlie Chaplins, kiss, hollywoods and for the little ones jugglers were there is a clown on every night.
