| said: This, in our opinion is one of the best hotels in Salou to stay at. It is absolutely spotless. The rooms are cleaned every day, with fresh towels. The bedding is changed every 4 days. The food is excellent, loads of choice for everyone, even the most faddy people. Fresh vegetables every day, which is quite rare in most Spanish hotels, with at least 3 or 4 different vegetables each meal.
The breakfasts are varied as well, both English and continental foods available. Gorgeous fried eggs etc.
Every time you go back to the buffet for more food, there was always two or three different dishes which had been brought out. Not good for the diet conscious!
Hotel staff extremely polite and very helpful. Any problems sorted out within a matter of minutes. Location of the hotel is excellent, near the bars etc, but not the noise.
Lovely pool area, plenty of sunbeds, none of the usual towels put out at ridiculously early hours as with most hotels.
I would not recommend this hotel for very young children as there is no kids club, but lots for older children to do.
The gym, sauna, indoor pool and jacuzzi is free, which in some hotels there is an extra charge for these facilities. All in all would recommend this hotel highly. This is our second visit to the hotel and would certainly return again.

The food was excellent and plentiful, all staff were very friendly and willing to help and the room was cleaned every day. We have little or no complaints worth mentioning and as a family we would certainly return and we would recommend this hotel to others.

| said: We as a party of ten stayed for 7 nights the hotel is spotless and staff very helpful, the road the hotel is in is a rabbit run for the young spanish coming from disco and clubs at all hours of the night and the noise from them is disturbing.
The apartments belonging to the hotel are right opposite and if you stay there beware as four apartments were broken into while we were there.
A couple of girls from Liverpool had all there money stolen on first day and although no sign of a forced entry the hotel, tour operator, or police would not help them, we ended up having a collection for them so make sure you get a safe deposit box if you go.

Very clean hotel, our room had two single beds and a set of bunks for the kids aged 13 and 6. Air con all through the hotel "exelent". Staff and entertainment were very good.
The pool has many trees around it,but in high summer they are very much needed. My family and I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

| said: I booked 4 nights here in June half board for £15 per night on the internet so I was not expecting the Ritz.
However this was the best value for money hotel I think I've ever stayed in!
Apart from the entertainment (painfully awful- "THE RICKI MUSIC SHOW"- ARRIBBA!)
The food was great, something for everyone and lots of it.
The hotel is kept spotlessly clean though could do with updating (it was obviously built in the "Jason King" era!) It's central and within a 5-10 minute walk of the beach and loads of tacky tourist shops, there's a bus stop on the doorstep to take you to Port Adventure (15 mins)or Aquapolis-water park (better than Caribe)in La Pineda (10 minutes).
The pool is adequate though as it's always partially shaded by trees it's absolutely freezing but with 2 water parks on the doorstep and 20 miles of beach up the road, who cares?
I'd go again & wouldn't hesitate to stay in the Marinada.

| said: The Marinada is a very impressive looking hotel with glass lifts on the outside of the building thus creating a good impression on arrival.
The staff were really friendly and helpful. They did not all speak English but it must be remembered that this hotel is not one used by English tour operators and caters mainly for the Spanish.
Our room was always clean with a balcony overlooking the swimming pool.
The food was excellent with good variety. The restaurant staff were very friendly and efficient. The price of drinks was very reasonable unlike other hotels we have stayed at in the area.
Entertainment was not great but sufficient. In the last 12 months we have been to Salou 5 times staying at different hotels. In future it will be just the Marinada. Fantastic value for money.

| said: The hotel is situated on a side street off one of the main streets in Salou.
There is a reasonable size freeform pool, childrens pool and a small indoor pool. Plenty of sunbeds but lots of shade. There is also a small playground and mini golf for the kids.
The food was standard hotel fayre. Plenty of choice but aimed at the Europeans although there was always something English(Chicken,Pork, beef) but you can get bored of chips with everything. So no complaints and my daughter (4) loved the desserts.
Not many English at the hotel and we didn't hang round much for the entertainment.
My daughter enjoyed the clown in Jugglers bar round the corner most nights. Lots of bars shops and restruants nearby.
Staff were most helpful and hotel very clean.

| said: Went to this hotel in september. The pool was almost under total shading because of trees and freezing, my mother cought a cold.
Food was all catered for german etc, if you dont like eating foreign food its no good. It wasn't the best of quality either.
The entertainment was aimed at all the old women which were in the hotel, it was rubbish. A few people we talked too said they wouldnt come back.
The hotel is also a long way from the beach i would say half a mile. And the location is up a side street with lots of dirty looking spanish peoples homes around.
Taxis are easy too get from the hotel, so we spent as much time as possible out of the hotel, we even ate elswere, for some of the time.

| said: This was an excellent hotel and great value for money. I would definitely go back and have recommended it to others.
The staff were mostly friendly the service in the restaurant was excellent. Most of the staff spoke very little English.
The only problem we encountered was that we had an early morning trip booked and we required an early breakfast we were told by our rep to ask at reception the night before and they would open the restaurant and do us breakfast especially. This we did but when we went to the restaurant the next morning it was closed. The only person around was a security man who opened the restaurant but there was no food inside for us to eat!!
The pool area got crowded and if you left to go for a walk etc there would be no sun loungers left in the afternoon.
The hotel though was great and we will definitely go back
