The location of the hotel very good only a few minutes away from the town center, but there were shops, bars and restaurant near by.You MUST try "THE COMDEY BAR" very good food and huge portions its just across the road to The International 11.Enjoyed it that much that were looking into booking up again next year.A family holiday in a truly family hotel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| said: I was really worried following the reviews I had read regarding the cleanliness of the hotel and diabolical entertainment. All I can say that none of it was true. It was spotless, staff were pleasant and did anything for you without any problems. In fact it was as good as a four star I had stayed in a few years ago the only difference is I didn't get my bed made everyday, but for two grand less I am quite happy to make my own bed. It was basic with a two ring cooker with kettle and fridge, you can hire a toaster. A good size bathroom, very comfortable beds and lots of mirrors. Both my children were entertained from morning till night I thought impossible considering the age gap 9 and 15 years. My mum who is 65 described it as "Butlins abroad". Although we were self-catering we ate at the hotel nearly everyday as the food was the same price as going out and the children wouldn't go out, and ate locally in the evening making sure we returned for the kids entertainment. There is lots of Bingo, darts, pool, water polo, creative activities go on all day. The hotel is a fifteen minutes walk from the centre of Salou but very close to shops, bars and restaurants. No problems for disabled guests as there are ramps and the lifts worked well.

| said: Myself and three friends stayed at the International 2 for one week.
From reading reports on internet we really had mixed thoughts on what to expect, but on arrival we were pleased by wht we saw.
All staff were friendly and not a bad word can be said about them 24hr reception and security was handy when returning from a night out.
Two bars and snack bar were lunch was cheap but nice.
Towels where changed three times within the week and room was cleaned twice.
Entertain was good and water polo was a must to cool off in the afternoon.
A trip to portaventura is well worth the money, also air conditioning in room is great when returning from a long hot day shopping.
Clubs and bars were good they catered for all ages.
on a whole we throughly enjoyed our stay at the international 2 and we would return again.

| said: Have just booked again for this accommodation for next year already!!
When we first arrived we were greeted by a lovely receptionist and were given an apology that we could not be provided with a room next door to the 2 other familes we were with, however we didn't ind that and we were actually given rooms that on the same floor and were a few seconds walk away. I also have to mention that our friends actually stayed in room 533 and there was no problems with it, no security guard standing outside chatting up people etc!!
The rooms were very clean and tidy, plenty of towels and sheets given to us and were very suitable for 6 of us. The 4 kids slept on the sofa bed and there was still room to squeeze another in one night! The balconies are a very good size aswell and we were able to put all the kids toys, travel cot and pram on it and still have room to sit!! Rooms were cleaned on a Wednesday and Saturday morning, cleaners always knocked on the door before entering and actually waited for a reply! If you didn't want the room ceaned that was fine, the whole 2 weeks we were there I only let them clean it once as I was ding it with the mop and brush everyday due to having 4 kids in the room! The other times I just asked for clean towels and new rubbish bags.
The poolside was spotless, not a piece of litter in sight and the lifeguard never left his spot and was always very alert. Plenty of sunbeds around and there was no need for us to go down and book our beds which was great. There are also a good lot of Parasols provided also which was great for us with 9 kids in total!
The location of the apartments was excellent! just a five minute walk from the street of shops and there are 4 supermarkets within a 2 minute walk from the front door. However we had to make a 20min trip to the beach a few times as the beach closest to us had a lot of steps that had to be walked down and up, and it just wasn't accessable for us with a twin pram, the other families with prams, as well as everything else that was needed. Although that is not the apartments fault.
There is a couple of eating places near hand, and Burger King is about 10 minutes walk away which was handy for us, however we ate out in the bar of the apartments most days. Very reasonably priced, lovely food and cater for everyone!
The enterainment at the hotel during the day was brilliant, Tom who seems to be the main man there was excellent and was very good with the kids and adults alike. Playing games with everyone, and showing the kids how to make kiddie cocktails, and the adults adult ones! The Water Polo Matches were always a great laugh, my husband and the other 2 enjoyed these also. The men also enjoyed the Pool competitions in the bar and the Dart competetions too. While myself and the girls enjoyed playing the Snowball bingo, and the kids loved clapping to the song lol.
I have to admit though that I cannot comment on the night entertainment as we went out to Rafferty's down the street, Christy's which is about a 10minute walk away and Murphy's which is just around the corner. Also fitted in some shopping too lol.
We've already booked for next year again, and one of the familes with us are going back in August!

| said: International 2 was the absolute worst appartment i had ever stayed in throughout all the holidays I've been on in my life. The appartment staff were not helpful at all and did not seem to know how to deal with simple issues we had such as asking for Directions as one did not speak very good English.
The hotel wasnt bad when we appeared, however the beds were so uncomfortable, we may as well have slept on 2 cotton sheets. There were ants all over the place and when we reported this nothing was done. No one came to clean the hotel in the 2 week duration we stayed, and they replaced the toilet roll and towels every two days, giving us one roll, we constantly had to request more. No one cleans your bins and you are expected to put your rubbish in plastic bags and bring them down to the bins outside the hotel! The guy next door to us in room 533 did nothing but complain about our music and talking which wasnt even loud, he also threatened to get the police for us. When we said to the security guard about him he defended him and said that we should not be so loud. We made friends with a few welsh guys and english guys while we there who also were annoyed at this guy who complained. Theb state of the hotel was atrocious and the internet services were also down. Our hotel staff really were useless, we actually used the hotel across the road (Hotel Mediteranneo) for internet services and for them to ring us taxis as our hotel staff kept telling us that taxis were not available! My friend and I were in the pool on the 2nd day there and that night we were very ill and couldnt go out because we were in bed with the cold! A holiday to remember like because it was the worst holiday ever. I would recommend it for teenagers/friends to go as the residents do nothing but complain.

had t ask to get the bedding changed. When I did she walked away and came back 10 minutes later with clean?? sheets, handed them to me and walked away again. Did not take the old ones away and did not make the bed. Many others also complained about the dirty conditons in and around the hotel only to be told, it a 2 star hotel what do you expect. | said: On arrival hotel looked nice from the outside, walking into the reception area, things looked promising. Entered the room and it is the biggest shithole I have ever stayed in, in my life. I would have sooner spent 2 weeks sleeping in cardboard city in the London Docklands. The room was filthy, the sheets were stained, had holes in them and smelt of piss. When you went to the bathroom you were greeted by the wondering around of poor Spanish ants, trying to escape a fate worse than death. Towels were changed 4 times over the 2 weeks and the bed linen once. Room was never cleaned, had to do this ourselves, even though our mop was full of hairs and didn’t even have a brush!!!! If you tried to warm up a bit of soup for the little one’s the electricity blew and you had to keep switching it back on by the tripper switch.
Went downstairs to drown my sorrows and came across the worst entertainer in my life, whose sole act was getting grown men up, asking them to retrieve items from ladies, (i.e. shoes, lipstick, bras) and dressing them for a competition called Miss Salou 2008, and this was supposed to be entertainment for our teenage daughter. The guy, Tom, who we nicknamed Talent less Tom and a girl Laura, could not organise a sweet club. The best part of the entertainment that night was the parrot show. Talent less Tom, promised us that after the magnificent entertainment he would take us to the local bars and get us some free shots, the only free shot I wanted from him was to put a bullet right between his eyes!!!
Women, beware!!!! There is a pervert Security Guard who woke the Mrs up at 2pm and asked her to be quiet actually stating “I will be your friend if you are quiet, a real good friend”, she told him where to go and shut the door in his face. He stands around outside during the night smoking cigarettes with his mate from room 533, whilst trying to chat up young girls coming in after a night out a bit worse for wear. His mate, who does nothing but complain about other residents, talking on their own balcony, coming in from a night out or even if you fart coming out of the lift. We reported him to the manager of the hotel and our Rep (Amy Halliday, Thomas Cook) who by the way was as useful as a chocolate fireplace, every time anything went wrong she would disappear like a magic act from David Copperfield re-appearing from another part of the hotel stuffing her face with the biggest ice cream I have ever seen in my life. After we reported the sad useless Security Guard, who couldn’t even get himself out of a paper bag and could do with a bar of soap, he seemed to stay clear of us and focused his attention on other poor women with children.
After all the problems we encountered, we asked to be moved only to be told we had to pay 300 Euros. They should have paid us that to stay there!!!!!
Had a boss time with the lads from South Wales in the rooms next to us, a great bunch of people.
We requested a pool view, what a view we got!!! We looked outside from our balcony only to find 5 great big bins in the street (by the way, the bin men come to empty the bins between 2 and 3 a.m. every morning, watching these was more entertaining than watching the shows downstairs)
The pool was absolutely freezing, even on a very hot day. Let’s hope you don’t need the Lifeguard, as the state of his clothing, i.e. ripped jeans that he walked on would even sink the Titanic. You would probably end up saving him.
Didn’t eat from the hotel, but what we saw you wouldn’t even give to the rats.
The best part of the holiday was when we got home and the Mrs found out that she was 5 months pregnant!!!! (You were right Den) please send me the 6 winning lottery numbers for this week, I’m going to need a few quid extra now.

The only downfall with these apartments was the rooms.when we first got in our room it was dirty the floor hadn't been swept and the shower was broke and my son sat on a chair and it collapsed I reported it to reception and it was sorted out straight away apart from this I would recomend the inter 11 to anybody.
Don't worry about sunbeds as there are plenty to go around. We will be returning to these apartments next year so watch out Laura and Tom.

Our Studio apartment was basic, but fine. Fresh towels and loo roll supplied twice during the 7 night stay. Hotel entertainment was good and kept the kids happy. Food was ok!
I wouldn't stay at the Internacional II again, solely for the attitude of the reception staff, which was evident by other hotel guests' comments and facial expressions!!!
Sorry Internacional II, but manners cost nothing!

| said: I have just came back from 2 weeks here and was disappointed. Firstly, according to Thomas Cook, this hotel was a 3* and I came to find it was only 2. For the price I paid I was sorely disappointed as I paid the same price in Portugal last year and the studio was far bigger and spacious.
Firstly, was self-catering. It was all well since we had the money to dine out, but if this is the only holiday you can afford and you don't have much spending money to take away, I don't advise here for one. Though the food in the hotel wasn't bad, and at a modest price.
The location was perfect, 2 minutes took you into the town. A bus stop literally around the corner to the theme park and was surrounded by great eating places, and a mere 5 minutes took you to the beach.
The security in this hotel is excellent though, theres a security guard at night, and also doors seem pretty hard to break through which was a plus. But the other staff (eg: cleaners, reception) were less endearing. Our studio was only cleaned once in the 2 weeks we were there, and we even had to ask for that to be done. For a family of four, were given one loo roll to last 2 days, so we had to keep asking.
I also found it a bit ironic that at reception they make you put shoes and flip flops on from being at the pool, yet in the ground at the pool there were cracks and dips in the ground were water filled up at, causing people to slip occasionally.
The entertainment was the only really good thing about it. They were fun, entertaining, and got everyone involved.
Overall, the studios would be more suitable for 2 people, for four was too many to squeeze in there. And the apartments across can see right into your room (if you were in the same ones I was in). I spent little over a week being gawked at by a fat turkish guy who just wouldn't get the hint when I glared and snapped the curtains shut.

| said: Internacional 2 is a great place to take teenagers on holiday, and for the adults to have either a relaxing or fun night out.
We left the two 16 year olds by the pool in the day with friends they'd met in the hotel while me and my husband went to the beach- its quieter and we generally just prefer it to the poolside.
The pool was clean and had an extremely friendly environment, music was played which wasnt too loud, and pool games were played everyday for about an hour.
The bar and restaurant was open all day. You get your hot food within a couple of minutes! Plenty of sunbeds so dont worry about getting up early to reserve one.
Entertainment at night was quality! Really fun and a good evening. You can go out for a meal to one of the many restaurants in the surrounding area of the hotel, and then my husband and i went back to the balcony for a drink while we left the teens down in the entertainment area with their friends. I felt extremely happy doing this as its a completely safe and worry free environment.
The rooms were basic, but good for a 2* hotel. We had a kettle in the room, and hired a toaster for toast in the mornings. Food and drink in the hotel were cheap and good quality.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Beach was a 5 min walk from the hotel.
We all had a great holiday and the 16 year olds are coming back on their own with their friends next summer!

Its right beside the main strip and about 5 minutes walk from the beach.

The beds were comfortable and the bathroom looked as if it had recently been refurbished.
However the room was only cleaned once in the 7 days that we were there.
The hotel is located on a hill and there are two flights of steps into the reception area. This made it awkward for us to get around and if you are disabled in any way this hotel is best avoided.
The entertainment went on until midnight most nights and could be heard all over the hotel.
The reception staff were informative and pleasant.

The apartments were very clean and as we had an 18 month old daughter we had requested a low floor, which we were allocated, and the balcony was superb as my daughter couldnt get out and no one could get in to her.
The staff were great, really friendly and always happy to help. The hotel provided entertainment from 11 o'clock in the morning untill midnight which was great as there was always something to do or keep us amused.
The hotel was close to all the main attractions and only a short walk away from the beaches and the main part of salou.
We would definately visit this hotel again as both my family and the other family which we travelled with thought it was great.
I would also like to recomend the 'texas Embassy' for all your meals.

I was worried about the rooms the most as I read a few too many fussy reviews before we went! However, the room was extremely clean and there was plenty of room for both of us.
The only drawbacks were the maids not cleaning the bath at all whilst we were there, and the kitchen was very basic and we had to hire a toaster for the week. The (cheesy!) reps were very friendly and the pool games looked fun for families.
I would definitely visit this hotel again if I came back to Salou in future.

These apartments are two star and so I wasnt expecting anything different than what I got, just basic clean apartments that are great value for money.
The pool is a good size with plenty of room to sunbathe. The bar is reasonably cheap for food and drink, and they have a happy hour from 7.30 til 9.00.
I must mention the entertainment who work hard keeping everyone happy, kids and adults alike.
The Internacional 2 is not the Ritz, and can be noisy, but if your looking for somewhere to go on holiday and have a goodtime, its an idel place for families and adults alike.

| said: We stayed in this hotel at the end of Aug - Sept for 2 weeks. For a two star hotel we were pleasantly surprised. On arrival we had to pay 60 euros deposit -which we got back no problems. The rooms were basic but clean - we had a kettle, fridge, basic hob and very good air con for no extra. The rooms were cleaned fairly regularly with towels and bedding being changed every few days.
The hotel itself had a good sized pool - sunbeds were easy to find free, a small shop downstairs which sells bread, milk etc.. 2 large bars, large tv screen for sports and we found the food to be good (lunch). Entertainment was provided every day and night - which during the day by the pool could be annoying if all you wanted to do was sleep/read.
Good base for the main resort though - 5/10 mins walk to the main bars/restaurants and to the main beach.

Was a bit disappointed about the size of the apartment though as it was very small, although air conditioning was great as it was in very hot season.
Entertainment was absolutely fab! They held different functions almost every night, but did get a bit repetitive, but great for children.
There are 2 great nightclubs in Salou however "Snoopys" an "kiss" which are excellent.
Staff were very friendly. Didnt eat much in hotel because we normally went out for evening meals which are very nice in the centre of Salou.
Location is excellent just a 5min walk froms bars an restaurants.
Overall excellent and considering returning next year.

The room we stayed in was ok but not cleaned thoroughly but it was OK.
We didn't eat at the hotel but found a lovely restaurant just up the road called Texas Embassy where the food is great and fair priced.
The entertainment was really good with Russel and the others. The only problem was that they always played bingo.
The hotel staff were fine and its easy to get a sunbed so dont worry about saving them.
We won't go back to the hotel again because we like to try out new places otherwise we might have.

Location of apartments is 10/15 minute walk from very centre of resort and the main beach, however there are plenty of shops and restaurants close at hand.
Entertainment day and night. The usual games during day and shows etc at night. Bar in apartment closes at 12 whether entertainment over or not. It usually over between 12 and 1 am. This means if you're lucky enough to get a room over looking the entertainment area you have no noise once shows etc over.
Staff on reception are friendly and pleasant. Two male entertainers are good, the girls a bit dippy!
60 euro deposit on arrival and air conditioning remote control given at check in also, no charge for air con, no problem getting deposit back either.
Check in not till around 3pm so if you arrive early you will have a long wait. There is storage for luggage while you wait.
for amount of people the pool could be bigger but it is fine. no hassle with sunbed which is great, even when you go down at 12pm or so there is usually one or two left. People are very good at showing you were there are free beds and even if not one available people come and go from pool all day and you will not have to wait too long. There are plenty of chairs about to perch on anyway. so don't bother setting alarms to reserve beds as its not worth it.
would I stay here again, yes definitely.

Room was cleaned pretty much every day in the 14 days we were there, and linen and towels every few days. We ate in the restaurant a few times and it was really nice, especially the breakfasts.
There is plenty of entertainment in this hotel, great for kids and also adults. Bit of a walk to the beach but a nice distance away from the bars as well.

Hotel was clean, rooms were very basic, location was great, staff were ok [sometimes], entertainment was fantasic.
Great job Russell and Amiee. Outstanding job. Something for young and old.
What ever down falls the hotel had the entertainers made up for it. Some people from other hotels came to the Inter 11 just for the entertainment.
Will go back next year.

| said: I went to the Internacional 11 with my three kids aged 4,6, and 10 in June.
The apartments were small but clean, I only cooked there once but it was do-able!
We always managed to get a (free) lounger by the pool, and the pool water and surrounding area was very clean.
Staff were friendly and helpful, I rented a buggy one or two days for a hot and bothered 4yr old which was handy.
The kids loved the entertainment and I won a couple of bottles of wine for the quiz.
The cafe downstairs was grand - cheap and cheerful with nice staff, we had breakfast there most days.
This was my first holiday solo with the kids, and I wasn't lonely at all, there is a great down-to earth atmosphere about the place.
I booked three day trips through the Budget rep at the hotel and they were all enjoyable.
Great value family holiday, fine for single mams.

| said: On arrival at Internacional II was very impressed by the reception area. The apartments were clean and well maintained and air conditioning (free of charge) was fantastic. Staff were very helpful and spoke good English.
Convenient for bus to Universal Studios and also close to beach, shops and bars. Breakfast was only meal that we tried in Internacional II and wasn't great, breakfast in Sinatras (next door) was better but staff were extremely ignorant and be prepared to wait as service was poor much better service and nicer staff (breakfast good as well) in Hollywoods(across road).
As our apartment was facing the street we were provided with a great deal of night time entertainment which mainly consisted of Rangers fans shouting abuse at Irish holidaymakers and also drunks fighting. The pool and bar areas were in need of modernisation as they were quite dated. The swimming pool was also very busy and as there is pool entertainment such as pool volleyball and loud music played constantly it gets noisy so there is no chance of relaxing by the pool. The hotel is not really a family hotel and is more suited to young holidaymakers looking for party type holiday.

Disapointed in the studio it let the hotel down.
Again we were charged 60 euro for deposit but they had a cheek with the state of the rooms, the plugs were dangerous, the curtain rail was hanging of the wall and the bath the enamel was peeling off.
We always go self catering as we enjoy cooking on a couple of nights but this time it was immpossible as we had nothing to cook with lucky we had a frying pan, I took my own toaster.
Was very suprised that the air conditioning was free we didnt use it incase we got charged.
The hotel itself was brill for the kids there was a life guard all day around the pool and the entertainers great, night time good shows every night.
We would go back only if they upgraded the rooms desperatley!

| said: We stayed at the International II for 2 weeks the last 2 weeks of the season.
I knew about the 60 euro deposit, and the cost to hire a kettle and toaster, neither of which we bothered to hire as we ate out all the time. I was a bit disappointed to find out that we had to pay 6 euros a day for the remote control, which works the new air conditioning, I did ask our rep why this was not mentioned, and she did say that it is free in high season, which I thought was a bit unfair, as it was still very hot when we went. Especially as you could not leave your balcony doors open because pf the noise from traffic and the apartments across the road. I did try sleeping with them open but gave up after 2 hours.
The rooms were cleaned every day and sheets and towels changed twice a week.
The staff are very helpful and friendly, and even though it was end of season.
The entertainment was really good. We had a 14 day pass for the theme park, so spent most days there.
There is a little land train that stops right outside the hotel ans takes you to the park, it costs 2.50 euros, well worth it.
The buses also stop right outside.
The hotel is on hill and it is quite a walk to the main beach and a good 30/40 min walk to theme park.
We did enjoy our stay here; we hope to be back next year.

This has to be the worst place I have ever been. Can someone please explain why I would bother going to spain to be in an area where everyone speaks English, watches terrible entertainment and eats pizza everynight.
The resort itself is dirty with rubbish all over the floor, the shops sell British magazines and other rubbish, and if you've got to be joking if you actually want something nice to eat.
I think all the Nazi grafitti everywhere rounds it off nicely.
Back to the food, I am wheat intollerant but did not think this would be a problem as I expected to be able to get plenty of sea food, paella and tapas for which I thought Spain was famous for. No such luck.
I found one nice fish restaurant in nearby cambrills, and everywhere else just served pizza, burger and chips.
I actually lived on tins of tuna and crisps!

After paying the deposit of 60 euros for damages and seeing the state of the room I quickly made a list of the problems of the room(lock on patio not working, extractor fan taped up with parcel tape, light fitting hanging off,,)and took them the straight to reception.
The lock was fixed quickly, but the other problems were left. The entertainment was good but a little repetative night by night. Plenty of other venues though, all very friendly.
We never had a bad meal there and the staff were always smiling.
This hotel would be massivly improved if the maintainance was kept up.

| said: The International 11, Salou, is by far one of the cleanest apart-hotels I have ever stayed in. As a native born and bred Belfast man, I have a severe fear of all the rather large continental insects (cockroaches especially), that the cold climate traveller can encounter! Let me assure any-one who reads this, that, apart from the odd mozzy, the almost hospitial-like, damp free, rubbish free environment in which these apartments are kept, meant that you see none of the pests that can so blight a holiday, for people that are not used to a warm climate.
As with other comments, there are no toasters, or kettles, and to hire them is a bit costly (16 euros for a toaster for 14 nights) but hey! you are on holiday, and we had breakfast and dinner out, every night, and in Salou, it really is for almost nothing, so please do not let the lack of toaster's put you off, as for a kettle...just boil the water in the saucepans provided!!!
Entertainment...fantasic! A different show every night, plus a good 4 hours during the day, Russell, the resident entertainer, has an abundance of patience for holiday-makers, and is brilliant with the kids as well. The entertainment goes on until 1.00am, but almost never runs over this time, so every-body gets a good sleep, also, they have security gaurds on the front door during the night, and this should be viewed as a good move, any-one drunk out of their head, loud, or nasty, does not get in, to my mind, this policy only makes for a better holiday experience for all.
In closing, I will say that the single biggest thing, that really made my holiday at the International 11, was the new air conditioning!! My god it's fantastic, you come back, soaked with sweat, from a days shopping, and you hit your room, which is a freezing 18 degrees centigrade, it's heaven, and also there is no more sleepless nights, in 30 degree heat, the conditioners are so good, that my wife used a blanket a few times!!!(Air conditioning is remote controlled, turn it off from your bed if you like)
Needless to say I was a happy chappy during my stay at the International 11, and yes I will be back next year!!

| said: International Playa Camdrills, Salou. A fantastic position right on the dirty beach. This was the worst apartment I have ever stayed in.. Luckily I had the holiday off the my travel auction at a cost of £338 for two tickets. Some poor people had paid full brochure price, I would have demanded a full refund!
Maids came in 4 times during the 2 week stay, one of which they didn't leave clean towels or change my daughters bed, possibly as I had made it up that morning. It was full of out of control Spanish youngsters and the surrounding area bred perverted elderly spaniards. My first and last visit to mainland Spain.
Barcelona excellent and the train journey to Real Madrid well worth it.

| said: We went to internacional 11 last year and we had the best holiday ever mainly due to the entertainment that was put on.
Russell and Aimee were brilliant espeacially with the kids and they never lost patience with any of them.
Problems we had were that there was no air conditioning when we went and that it was on a hill which our travel agent told us it was on a flat surface and two of the people with us need walking sticks to get around as one had just had a hip op and the other has parkinsons.
We had 4 apartments as there was 16 of us and 3 of the apartments had no locks on the bathroom door and 1 of the apartments had faulty wiring on a couple of sockets but apart from that we really enjoyed our holiday there, if we lose the invalids(ha ha) we'd go there again seeing as they now have air conditioning now.

last year and went as prepared as we could. When we got to the hotel we knew about the 60 euros deposit for possible breakages which you get back when you leave so we took extra. We also took are own travel kettle and were expecting to boil as there is no air conditioning wrong its just gone in and its brilliant.
Granted it costs 6 euros a day but well worth it. We saw the maids every day and the room was cleaned out
about four times in the week.
The pool was very clean and yes it does get a bit busy but so does every where else.
Local beach very good and location excellant.
We have been to salou before and we were only going back for port aventura but i would definately consider staying here again.

| said: The hotel was very basic. There was no kettle or toaster in the room. For self catering you would at least expect that even for a 2* Hotel. These items had to be hired on arrival. Good job we did our research and discovered this before leaving the UK and took the necessary bits with us and as far as I am aware this was not stated in the holiday brochure. We did eat in the hotel on one night, the food was OK but nothing to rave about. Location is excellent lots of shops, 10 min walk to the beach and big shopping area. Hotel staff were friendly (most of the time) on occassion a bit short. Entertainment was superb. We could not fault any of the entertainment and congratulations to all the entertainers involved, including the new recruits, most of which were on their first week. Drop the magic acts though! I would not visit this hotel again simply for the reason of the lack of facilities in the apartments. Good job entry to the hotel for entertainment is free as we will definately be visiting Salou again and am sure would go to the Internacional II for the entertainment.
