| said: This is the second time that this group has visited these apartments, although some of us were primavera virgins 11 of the 18 who traveled had been before.
Prior to traveling when describing the place to those who hadn't been before we said very basic but close to the square so it's canny.
However since our last visit they have added a cafe/bar area which is a very good addition for groups like ours as it is perfect for meeting up before going out. The food is good and well priced and the beer is the same, 1-40 a bottle for a bottle of Mahou.
The rooms are basic and would recommend you don't have more than 3 people sleeping in them. No kettle was the only moan we had, we already knew about the toilet roll and we took our own from home.
This is the perfect place to have you're Stag/Hen party and would recommend it to all who want a lively group holiday. Excellent holiday for all who came with me.

5 mintues walk from everything we needed and maybe a couple more down to the beach.
As previously mentioned they have added on a new shop and bar area which was great and the entertainment on a Sunday night from resident DJ Demp...second to none.
Staff excellent and very helpful.
Yes we will continue to visit this hotel for many years to come!!! 5 oohhhh.

Ran out of toilet roll on 2nd day told we had to pay for more...disgraceful.
Reception staff no help at all, very arrogant but the girls working in the bar area very nice.
Told to leave hotel at 10 in morning when I had it in writing it was 11am.
Never again!

The guy at reception (think he was the manager) was very helpful.
Our room was ready within an hour of us arriving (at 11.30am). It was very clean and much larger than I thought it would be. The balcony was massive and had great views.
I saw that the bar in the apartments had 2 happy hours some days but we didn't get a chance to pop in.
I would definitely stay at these apartments again, they are real good value for money

The rooms are basic but clean rooms cleaned regular towels changed.
The walk way leading up to the hotel can be scarey sometimes if the lights are out but that's not the staff's fault so you get yourself a taxi to the front door.
I will continue to stay at Primavera Dos anytime I visit Benidorm because everything about it is a ok even location for night life and beach everything is on hand

Location could not have been better for our favourite restaurants, yellow brick road etc. Never saw any trouble with previously reported muggers and never felt threatened on the road up to apartments - well lit at night. Staff friendly,we asked for an early morning call on morning of our departure and it was was not a problem.

| said: I stayed at the Apartment for 3 nights at the end of April. On arriving I was asked to give a 60 Euro deposit which I already expected. I asked for a low floor when I booked the apartment and was put on the 6th floor which I was happy about, once entering the room it was very clean with a very big balcony, which was good.
It was in a perfect location not far from everything, and I highly recommend the 'Singing Frog' excellent food!
The only bad thing I could say about these apartments are there is no room where you can leave your suitcases if you are on a night flight as you have to be out of your apartment at 10.00am. You have to just hang around the apartment with no room till you have to go to the airport, but apart form that these are brill apartment and I would stay in them again, and the 'muggers ally is not as bad as everyone is making out it is a well lit street.

The "dirt track" everyone talks about is so not that - it's a tiled street with plenty of lighting so I never once felt unsafe at all.
Would highly recommend these apartments - maybe after not so good reviews they've now pulled their socks up!

We have been Benidorm 3 times and this is by far the best apartments.
The apartments were very basic but are perfect if your going on a family holiday or even if your on your own or with a partner.
The staff were also very friendly and spoke good English.
The food wasn't great, but there are many of nice cafe, restaurants and English pubs to choose from close to the apartments.

| said: This is possibly the worst holiday ever, I travelled with a friend and my 12 year old daughter, never been to Benidorm before and will never go again.
Arrived early hours of the morning paid the 40 euro deposit and just went to bed, got up in the morning to the chorus of "Good Morning" from the hotel opposite, tried to make a cup of tea, but only one ring was working, reported it to the really unhelpful reception, and was informed that it would be fixed the next day (which it never was) went out for breakfast and generally had a nosey round the resort, (seemed ok apart from all the graffitti and dog muck). Thought to myself just make the most of it after all this was our long awaited summer holiday!!!!!!
Went out that evening to different bars, all in all had quite a good night, with me and my daughter being away with a male friend he obviously wanted to stay out later than us, so me and my daughter went back to the apartments around 11, we got close to the apartments and felt really unsafe as none of the lights in the alley leading to the apartments were working and there were young lads hanging around, decided to brave it and just walk up to the apartments, made it safely but reported the lights to the receptionist, and was told in a very surly manner that it was'nt his fault but the electric company's fault!!!!!!!
The rest of the holiday followed along the same vein, but we came home while it was still light to avoid walking down the alley at night alone, most nights we were kept awake by the young lads in the room upstairs and to the right of us, as they were shouting, kicking the doors in, what can only be described as moving all the furniture around at about 3am. Oh and a delightful new game they made up of throwing beer bottles off the balcony and smashing them all round the new pool which was being built opposite!!!!!!!!!
Tried to keep the room on nearer to the end of the holiday as our flight home was not until 4am and we had to leave the room at 11am, but was told that they could not let us have that room and all the others were taken as they were very busy, so had to do what everyone else did and just leave the bags in the reception area (which we were informed had CCTV and the receptionist would be watching them all the time) went out for breakfast, but when returned found that 3 of my bags (with our clothes for travelling home and all my daughters presents for her friends) had been taken. Asked at reception to see the CCTV but was told it didn't work!!!!!!!! (Surprise Surprise). Also told that nobody had been anywhere near the bags (so obviously my luggage had sprouted legs and just walked off!!!)
Feeling really close to breaking point at this time I rang the First Choice rep's number in reception and was told to go to the nearest police station as I would not be able to claim on my insurance without it, went to the nearest police station as asked, and made my report and then thought the woman was having a joke when she told me to get the documents photocopied myself, but no joke.
When we had done all this it was back to the shops with my daughter to replace all the presents with the last of my money, leaving nothing for snacks or drinks for the rest of the day or at the airport. Eventually got back to the apartments and plonked myself round the pool (keeping the rest of my luggage with me).
Oh and just to add insult to injury my insurance would not pay out as they said I left my baggage unattended!!!!!
Also First Choice did not want to know either.

| said: When I first read the reviews on this hotel I thought, what had I let myself in for. It was 4 young girls in my party and we learnt that we had to walk through 'muggers alley' every night. When we got there we were really surprised to see that I was a back street rather than an alley and was very well lit up in the nights.
We stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks and in that time we did not see any muggers in this alley or did not hear about anyone getting mugged.
The hotel its self was clean but quite basic it had the the necessary requirement but there were no extras.
The swimming pool looks tiny in the brochures but it actually quite a decent size.
There's no entertainment at all in the hotel and the bar is only open until 6pm which was quite a let down.
Overall the hotel was good and in an excellent location....

| said: Primavera Dos Apartments.
I hired a safety deposit box (in my room).
On paying the fee and being given the key I became aware that you did not need a key to get in the box, I tried to explain to the staff about this but the language barrier prevented me making myself understood.
So I got the My Travel rep and showed him how it was possible to get in the box without a key, he in turn then explained to the reception staff that the safety box needed fixing. Time passed and no one came to fix it so I had to asked if I could have another box to put my valuables in but I was told to wait in my room till someone came I refused, informing them we had come on holiday to go out and not sit in a room waiting for someone to fix the box.
I asked if I could leave my valuables in the reception safe till it was fixed, I was told I could but I would have to back by 4-00pm as the receptionist would be going off duty, I said I could not as we were going out for the day.
So we had to take our valuables out with us for the day again, as it was not secure.
Another hotel in the area gave us the phone number to contact My Travel in Benidorm we rang and spoke to someone called Caroline, it was explained to her about the difficulties we were having with that box, and she said someone from My Travel would come to see us at our apartment that evening at six but they never did.
That evening we did get the box fixed we asked for a refund as we had paid a daily rate for the box but could not use it for three days but to no avail.
We never saw My Travel rep at the apartments at the designated time it stated on the notice board throughout our stay.
Speaking to other My Travel holidaymakers on our return journey others also told us that they had never seen a holiday Rep whilst staying in Benidorm.
The apartments were lot cleaner than we expected the furniture was in good condition although the beds were creakey we got plenty of change of linen and the cleaning ladies were very plesant it’s a pity that the reception staff are not more friendly some are down right hostile.
The apartments are very basic and to get a TV picture they want 3 euros a day for the remote control to watch it everything in these apartments seemed to be overpriced
Kitchen equipment was poor I guess 2 boy scouts camping would have more than we were provided with
We had heard of a lot of muggings on the walkway outside the apartments It seemed well lit outside and whilst there we heard of no muggings whilst staying there

| said: This hotel can be called a hit or a miss the place in general was clean enough as were the rooms. The balconys were large and attract the sun all day but on the rooms the towels were changed twice in two weeks. The bed linen was done once in two weeks which i think is unacceptable. The location from the beach and entertainment was quite good not that far nor not that close. However the entrance to the hotel is a lowly lit pathway which is dubbed 'muggers alley' and to which there was four muggings in my two weeks there. You are advised not to walk up to or from the hotel on your own. The staff were really unhelpful and arrogant and dont deserve your custom. There was no entertainment at the hotel whatsoever and the pool you could mistake as a puddle. There is no way i would go back to this hotel it only has one good thing going and that is the rooms they are good but are put in the shade by everything else.

| said: The hotel itself was in a good location and clean to an extent!! I did have to sweep & mop once (on my holiday) as the cleaners did not do it and if i hadnt you got black dust and dirt stuck to your feet, it felt like you had flip flops on your feet with the amount of dirt they picked up!!
Towels got changed twice in the 2 weeks we was there and the bedding only got change once which i think is bad when its hot for all the obvious reasons!!
Seal broken in bathroom drain which meant when you took a shower the whole bathroom was like paddling in the sea!! That did get fixed 3 days after!! The staff where very arrogant and unhelpful always with a misareble look on there faces!!
The alley (dirt track) up to the hotel was open and graffiti our Rep told us when we arrived first day off the coach to be very careful at night down the alley as there where strange people and groups that hanged around there. this alley was known as "muggers alley" we did get to know by other guests!! We never see the groups of people but we did see a very strange looking man that was acting very weird.
There was no entertainment at this hotel not even a few songs round the swimming pool!!! There was a hotel directly in front of the hotel that did have a lot of entertainment which was very amusing espically the "Good Morning" song which was played at 10am every morning on the dot got very annoying but funny!!!

We booked with sky holidays and paid £1000 for 6 of us for 2 weeks (fantastic hey) We were also there in December with portland. We had a fantastic holiday, but then again we always do in Benidorm, we go to Benidorm 3 times a year. These apartments may not be 5*, but they are not advertised as that either. They are good clean and basic benidorm accomodation. They are situated well and although next to the dirt track, there was no truble while we were there. We had a fantastic time and I think that as long as the accomodation is clean that is all that matters, because at the end off the day you only sleep in it. Anyway if you are thinking of going have a great time!!!!!

| said: I booked to stay at these apartments via the internet..using Tompson web site..last minute package deal..I'm 60 and single and normally get charged supplements..to which I disagree with and never take up..in this case there was no supplement and the cost was for the apartment.. whether it be for one or four..non of this "based on two sharing crap"..
I took the package deal..£259 flying from Glasgow to Alicante which included a seven night stay in the Primavera Park 11 apartments...thats what was advertised and that is what my ticket said..so far so good.
Two days later I'm aboard the Britania aircraft bound for Benidorm..flight time 2hrs 30 minutes..never been before ..really looking forward to it..great!
Travelled light, only hand baggage..no waiting at the carousel..pass through passport control into the main hall..look for a Tompson rep..can't see one..ask another rep nearby..she replied "Oh the tablecloth brigade..the're over there"..pointing in the direction of two young ladies wearing tablecloth uniforms.
"Excuse me but where do I get the coach to Benidorm, I'm staying at the Primavera Park 11 apartments"..
"Go down the ramp and you will see a Tompson desk ..ask there"..she said rather curtly..
Well ahead of the pack I head down the ramp..spot the tablecloths desk and head for it..explain where I am going and where I am staying..where is the coach please..
"ermm! yes we have coaches going to Benidorm and to your apartments..but ermm! you are not booked on one."
"What do you mean not booked on one."?.."I took a package deal"..
"Yes sir, but that deal does not include coach transfer"
"But no one told me..I did't know..I was never told that it was an option...look this is my first time here..I don't know where Benidorm is from here, I don't know where the apartments are..I'll pay the extra and take the coach."
"Sorry Sir, not allowed..you must book..and only from the UK"
"So how do I get there.".?
"Take a taxi".."Next Please".....
By this time the rest of the pack are arriving..dejected I turn away..what happens now?
As luck happened a friendly tablecloth was stood nearby and had heard the conversation.
"Don't worry about it" she said.." forget the taxi..too expensive..55 euros..around £40..follow me I'll show you the regular bus service..gets you there just as quick for about four quid.."
So I arrive in the centre of Benidorm..finally made it..now I want a cool beer..From the Europa bus point I walk left into Gerona Avenue..see a Brit bar and quench my thirst..ask the Brit behind the bar where the Primavera is.."Never heard of it mate"..he says.."but there's thousands 'round 'ere..dunno them all"..
Great I thought but at least I'm here..eventually I did find some one who knew where it was..[I should have taken a taxi at this point..silly me]..I decide to walk it..not far and have a couple of beers en route..finally arrive there and go to reception..the guy checks out the Tompson details and says.."Sorry wrong Primevera"...
"But it says here on my ticket Primevera Park 11"
"Yes it does"..he replies in perfect english.."but two in Spanish is dos..it is the Primevera Dos you should go to"..
I leave and curse Tompson..why not say Dos instead of 11..I don't read or speak Spanish.....
Now a taxi takes me to the Primavera Dos..Ive arrived and am at the right place..
A young sour faced receptionist checks my details..
"That'll be £40" she says
"For what"?..
"For any damage that you may cause..I take Euro or Sterling..it's up to you"
I pay the money in sterling and get my key..
There are 17 floors in these apartments and two lifts..
The lifts are modern and first class..never more than a few seconds wait before one arrives..no problems at all..
I get off at the third floor and enter my apartment..I check and look around..it is spotless..sitting room with sofa double bed..table four chairs..small intergrated kitchen..seperate bedroom with two single beds [extremely comfortable mattresses]..bathroom with bath and shower and a huge balcony [not much of a view]..The large double glazed sliding door on to the balcony when closed sound proofs the room..you can hear a pin drop inside it is so quiet..You are only ten minutes walk away from all the hustle and bustle of Benidorms night life but once inside your apartment you hear nothing..You can rest and sleep peacefully..and nor will you be disturbed by rowdies in the apartments..there are non.
Hot water for washing and showering is always on..instantly..the shower is excellent..the towels provided are soft [unlike many cardboard ones I have come across] and are changed weekly..
The kitchen has a two plate cooker and a small mini oven..but no toaster and oddly no kettle..I complained about this and was told to boil a pan..all the rest in fours is there..knives forks spoons plates cups etc.
It is so cheap to eat out I doubt that you will use the kitchen much..
The apartments though basic are modern and spotlessly clean..full marks for that...and as for noise..you won't hear any apart from the occasional door being slammed instead of being closed.
The apartments are only minutes away from all the entertainment and restaurants..they are well located..beach about 15 min walk...excellent Brit social club just around the corner 5 minutes away..Bingo every night..cheap drinks and entertainment..if thats what you like..
If you want more info drop me a line ..
geoff.lock@ntlworld.com
Despite the sour faced staff I recommend these apartments and would definately go back again.

Entertainment, there is none and there aren't any permutations suggesting there will be, you can always sit on your balcony and watch the entertainment at the Pueblo, quite amusing.
Cleanliness, regular maid service, friendly and curteous and willing to do anything if you ask nicely
Staff, friendly, young and well experienced. Explained everything about the area and the apartments in great detail and carried cases to room
Location, Pretty central to the 'square' and to the rincon de loix. Up a small alley adjacent to the market which is well lit and often a Guardia Civil car watching the area. Quiet area so you can get a good nights sleep, a little way out from the levante beach tho.
Rooms, modern and clean. Great balconies, kitchen is adequate and rooms comfortable enough.
For what you pay, you get your moneys worth, this place doesnt pretend to be the Don Pancho, its cheap, modern and attractive accomodation

If you are looking for cheap self catering there are plenty to choose from but I will certainly not be staying here or recommending it. As I work in the travel trade it was a major disappointment to discover that my company also sell this accomodation.
I have never come across such bad customer service .... to the extentent "if we didn´t like it to go elsewhere"
I think that says it all

| said: This hotel is a dangerous place to stay. The fire extinguishers are over due for testing by one year, the maids block the automtic fire doors, the lifts stop out of line with the floors, the staff were rude, the towels were only changed once in a week, the toilet was badly cracked, they charge a deposit for the room and refuse to give an inventory. Access to the building is via a very scruffy road, littered with burnt out cars and graffitti.I personally think this hotel is of an appalling standard and cannot possibly be 3 star accomodation. A written complaint was made to Thomsons and they have not even had the courtesy to acknowledge let alone respond.
