| said: Arrived at the hotel received a warm welcome and it was a quick check in, rented the room safe for 14 euros for a week and was handed the key straight away, was allocated a ground floor room and was very impressed everything very clean, lovely bathroom and nice sized bedroom with a tv (10 euros to hire the remote but refunded when you return it), a nice sized balcony overlooking the swimming pool, plenty of space in the wardrobes, 2 bedside tables and another table and 2 chairs. The room was cleaned, beds made and clean towels every day. Breakfast served until 10am and was also good. I cannot fault this hotel in anyway, would recommend it to anyone and would certainly stay there again. It is situated in an ideal location very close to shops, bars and restaurants and the beach.

| said: This is a small hotel of only 5 floors not the usual Benidorm high rise. It appears to have been recently refurbished as the bathroom was very modern and the tiles and suite very clean and new looking. the room was simply furnished but in a neutral and modern style. Breakfast was nothing special but adequate. The only negative point was the lack of insulation between rooms. The occupants of the room next door could be heard talking and their television could be heard quite late into the night although this only happened on a couple of nights. You can also hear some noise from the street at night but this is to be expected with a hotel which is located right in the heart of all the action. For location it is superb. It is also very close to the beach

| said: Wow what a fantastic hotel, in a brilliant location.
Paid £15 a night for b/b through travelrepublic, and couldn't be happier.
arrived to check in at 1.00pm and rooms were ready.
Was on the 2nd floor, with 2 rooms overlooking the street and 1 the pool.
All rooms the same, bathroom very clean with nice towels.
Bedroom 2 single beds, 2 bedside cabinets, pleanty of wardrobe space, cabinet with tv.
Note no tea or coffee making facilities. No problem to me, but friends missed this.
very clean bedding and nice green curtains to match bedding.
safes can be hired for 1.5 euros a day.
pool area is small but nice, and can be shaded through the day, but the location is a 5 min wald from the beach.
My only downside to this hotel, was the location of my room.
Ours and a friends room was on the main road. Now this is a busy main road. (hotel orange is opposit)
And during the night, you could hear the cars, holiday revellers etc.
I had read this on other reports so i was prepared, took ear plugs. and hey presto problem solved a bit.
Breakfast was downstairs in the bar by the pool. but was more than adequate.
This is certainly a hotel that me and my friends would return to.

| said: This is a really lovely hotel. Spotlessly clean, really friendly staff, nice size rooms and lovely breakfast.
Hotel is in a great position, only a few minutes walk to all the bars. Opposite is a little amusement type place where the kids enjoyed spending their money! I sat outside the hotel bar and watched them play.
There's no entertainment but in Benidorm I don't think you need it.
Swimming pool was a nice side, but a little cold!!! It was quiet round the pool but I would imagine in main season it's quite a bit busier.
Would recommend this hotel to anyone. We'll definitely be back next year.

| said: Lovely clean hotel with friendly staff. Very noisy at night as our room overlooked the red dog pub which only closed every morning at 6am.
Had to sleep with doors closed and ear plugs in so grateful for air conditioning. No facilities for a drink in room so glad we took our kettle.
Centralised hotel. One thing did spoil it crowd of girls around pool every day who sunbathed topless and all sunbeds got towels on at 7.30am every day. Did not agree with this as there were younger people present and it is not fair around a hotel pool. They should go to beach. same breakfast items every day but everything you needed for breakfast.
No entertainment but was out until 10 most nights. Would go again but definately only if allocated a room overlooking pool for a bit of peace and quiet.

We were not allowed people of the opposite sex in our rooms at night, Rooms were basic and quite small, i would stay here again but not in August

| said: Stayed at the perla in june with my friend for a long weekend. Excellent location. Really nice hotel. Rooms cleaned to a very high standard every day. Hotel staff really nice and helpful. Breakfast was not too bad, plenty choice. Didnt use the pool, we prefer the beach, but it looked a good size and very clean. We didnt experience alot of young single groups when we were there, it was very much older people staying at the hotel. I liked it so much im going back on the 24th July with my family. Cant wait! I'd recommend this hotel & why its only a 2star is beyond me, i've stayed in worse 4stars!!!

| said: If your looking for fun and night life then this is the one place to stay in Benidorm. It is 1 block away from the British square with all the fun pubs there. This hotel is not for families or the older generation who want a quiet time. Its Blackpool in the sun!!!
When we went in May 07 there were alot of hen and stag parties there. However if you dont fancy drinking all day then you can escape by either bus or train and see some of the sights this place has to offer. Local transport is very cheap.
We will be using this Hotel again, for sure.

| said: Hotel was very good for a 2 star with friendly staff and very clean rooms.
A nice pool although a bit cold in October, good position for bars and night life. Rooms have good double glazing and overlook pool, the only noise at night would be from your fellow Brits on the balcony next door.
Would certainly stay here again.
Can't comment on breakfast as never made it but coffee in front bar was great. Hotel was better than some 4 star hotels I stayed at in Benidorm in the past.

| said: We were b&b on this holiday but did not get the chance to try the breakfast as my mother and I were asked to leave the room at 10am on the first morning. As the sink in the bathroom was broken, we had reported this but no one came to the room. When the cleaner came in the morning she got the Engineer who said we must have broken it and wanted to charge us 500euros to pay for it or we must leave. When we said that we weren't going to pay for it the engineer wouldn't even let us pack. I said that I had to go to the toilet and he wouldn't let me shut the door - he actually stood a the door whilst I used the toilet! The sinks are marble and are encased onto the wall. There is no way that anyone could have broken this sink unless they were standing jumping up and down on it. This certainly was not the case as there was only my 57 year old mother and myself in the room!
I would never stay here again as we were treated like criminals for a sink that was faulty when we arrived.

Don't know about staying here with my other half and the kids though.
1 minute walk from all the bars and clubs a good base for an old fashioned brits abroad holiday.

| said: The Perla is classed as a 2* hostel, but is certainly within the same league as many of the 3* hotels within the same area. It's location is excellent, a minutes walk from the Square, the beach and various shops and restaurants. The hotel was clean, the towels changed every day, and the bedlinen was changed (I think) at least twice a week. The breakfasts were more than adequate and the staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was lovely (and empty with lots of free sunloungers). Didn't see any hotel entertainment, so cannot comment on that.....Would definitely stay there again, in fact are booking up for September. Even though it is featured in one of the 18-30's brochures, there wasn't that rowdy atmosphere (that we noticed, though maybe we were keeping the same 'party' hours as the 18-30 lot!).

| said: staff at this hotel go out there way to help you have the best holiday possible. the hotel is bang in the centre of levante, great pool no beach towels needed to be left out becouse plenty of room for everybody. the hotel is spotless and clean the rooms are well decorated and most balcanys look out over the pool which also very clean. the price of the booze is on par with most of benidorms pubs at 1euro50 a pint lager all in all the best holiday in benidorm we have ever had and this was our seventh trip to the resort. the hotel also is only six stories high but still as two lifts both work all the time no waiting. the hotel does not exept children under 16 so no kids running around.the hotel only does b&b but you can purchase a meal if you like in one of their two bars. their is also plenty of food pubs within yards of hotel the yorkshire pride and the wigan pier to mention but a few

| said: Booked holiday with Escapades, got good deal. Bit worried as to the 2 star rating but on arriving found this hotel to be slap bang right off the square, come out main square and stagger for about 2 minutes and that's you at the Perla.
The rooms were clean, power shower. Rooms cleaned every day, our balcony was on to poolside so we didn't have any noise from traffic etc.
