| said: I stayed at the payma apartments in April 05 with my girlfriend and I would go back to these apartments again if I was on a budget, not if could afford something else!
We arrived and thought it looked a bit dull but when we got settled and had a look round our apartnment realised it wasn't as bad as I initially thought.
You have to pay 100 euro deposit when you walk in for any damages you may cause, which you get back when you leave. Every room was clean and tidy, the kitchen was very basic with only 2 hobs (no grill or oven)and we had a balcony which when right around to our bedroom.
The beds was 2 single ones so we had to push them together and their were blankets which were very uncomfortable. The t.v was 50 cents for bout 1hr and ours was stuck on CNN throughout the holiday!
Sayin all this, the location was excellent, 5mins from the beach and surrounded by bars and clubs which I didnt think were noisy on the night and I stayed on the 3rd floor!
I never saw our holiday rep once while I was there (probably because it wasnt peak time of year)and the reception staff were average..nearly lost my 100 euro deposit cause she didnt turn up on time in the morning and my coach was due for 9:15, she turned up at 9:10!!
Overall I would recommend these if you are on a budget (which i was) but if you can afford it, go for something else!

Do not go!

| said: My first time in Benidorm, and travelled on my own. I met my parents, who where already on holiday in Benidorm.
The staff were very friendly and helped me whenever needed.
My apartment was clean and had a decent sized bedroom, with a balcony all the way around the apartment.
The pool was small, but I didn't use it, as I used the one at my parent's hotel, just around the corner.
Would definitely stay there again, and my parents also want to stay there on their next visit, as they were very impressed with them. I can't beleive what some people are saying about the apartments on this site. Anyway, you only stay in apartments to sleep anyway!

| said: I went to this apartments with my 3 friends. I'm a 21 year old however I hated these apartments.
We had a studio with no beds only 2 sofa beds in the front room. No balcony but 2 sliding glass doors which didn't even lock properly.
The pool was tiny with only 6 sun beds for accomadation with approx 9 floors.
The location was good but very noisy. It was so close to town centre you are actually situated on top of a disco, which meant it was so noisy all night.
When I was there the other guest were really noisy & no one did anything to stop them.
we said to the rep that we wanted to change accomodation but he wasn't interested unless you w
ere going on his trips, pub crawls etc. We didn't get moved and ended up coming home after 10days out of 2 weeks.
Definitley wouldn't recommend! poor value for £450!!
wouldn't go back for nothing!

| said: Brilliant location but due to this the noise is horrendous till at least 4am every morning. The rooms are ok, unless you have a studio which do not have a proper bed just 2 sofa beds, they also have no balcony
the windows do not shut properly. The pool is very small with only a few sun beds. Would not go back to same accomadation unless was realy cheap. It would be great for young people as it was a 18 to 30 till this year and they should keep it that way

| said: When I stayed at these apartments in September, I was a bit anxious about staying in these apartments due to comments that I had read, but to my surprise, it was quite modest as to the price we payed for it!
We stayed in a studio, on the 9th floor, which had two sofa beds, a small kitchen (never used) and a reasonable sized bathroom. Although, I was worried about the lifts. When we checked in, we could only go in one at a time with the case they were so small!!
Nightlife wasn't bad... Good bars and entertainment if thats your cup of tea!
This was my second time in Benidorm. Wouldn't stay in that apartment again, but I'm not complaining about it!

| said: Stayed in the Payma apartments at the beginning of September and agree with what has been written about the apartments, they are very poor. We were on the 11th floor, which was the only floor to have real balconies. The lifts only went to floor 10 and they were so small could only fit 2 people in and the light in one was out for 2 days and they really creaked.
Bad points about the actual apartment were that it was tiny; as we had a balcony it was tiny. Had no beds just a sofa and one sheet to sleep with. The kitchen was tiny and the knob on the cooker came off that turns the gas on so did not dare use it in case there was a gas leak. We came back from Benidorm town and found our next door neighbours running from our apartment to there's with our cd player and we found out they had managed to climb round the balcony and into our apartment through the balcony doors we had left open thinking it was safe. The TV in room hardly works and you need to put 6 euros deposit then 1 euro for every half hour. Bathroom so small you could not move. Shower curtain had brown marks on. There were plaster coming off the balcony and it was just poor. Had towels changed once and that was because I nicked them from a trolley outside our apartment that the maid was using for new guests. Pool is really small and was full or rubbish including cigarette boxes and tab ends and general rubbish. No sun on pool until after midday till around 4 then shade again. Had to go through the bar to get to the pool so people were eating in there.
Reps only interested in sleeping with people although they were a laugh and were good on the bar crawl. This is definitely an 18-30 escapades apartment in which to say all these bad points me and my mate did not mind too much as we were never in and only needed to sleep there (some nights). Benidorm, as a place, is wicked. The night life is great. Was in beachcomber till 5am nearly every morning best place for dance music in Benidorm and the girls are all definitely up for it. I would definitely go back to Benidorm again but just not in these apartments. I would not put my dog in there really but hey was only there for a week so could just stand it. On the whole benidorm is mad wicked fantastic and the Payma apartments and the total opposite.

| said: Im 18 and my mate is 20. We went to Benidorm two weeks ago 17th may 2003, we stayed in Payma. After reading these comments about the apartments I was dreading it. However when I arrived I was suprised.
The room was basic but did us two all we needed it for was getting ready and a few hours sleep. The place was clean.
We were above three nightclubs but they are really strict in the apartments about the noise, we came in at half twelve to get more money and my mate put the music on in 5 minutes the receptionist was banging our door so you would without a doubt get asleep in these apartments.
I left all my money lying in a drawer it was safe enough in the apartments.
Food nice too, although one thing I can say was the pool was a bit small, the bath was bigger, but who cares as the beach is 2 minutes away and you are based in the middle of everything.
Stay away from Gigalos as this bar is a bit tacky!!
Loved benidorm so much am moving in 5 weeks!!

| said: Just arrived back from holiday and stayed in these apartments.
Went with my mum (70) her sister (76) and my cousin (41).
We were not looking forward to it as we were told after booking it, it was an 18-30 holiday apartment block. We were delighted with the apartment which was a 1 bedroom one, it was very roomy we were on the corner and the balcony went round to three sides.
We had no noise although benidorm was very busy with all age groups there. The apartment was very clean on arrival, we had clean towels mid week but no clean sheets although we only went for a week. We found the staff very helpful and friendly and would certanly book to go there again.

| said: I stayed at the Payma apartments in May 2002, it was ideally situated for the beach and clubs, the apartment was clean and spacious and the balcony faced the sea, the staff were friendy. I can't believe what has been written here, I liked the place so much that I'm going to stay there this year.
Yes it's lively but it's on top of three night clubs what do you expect?? It wasn't that noisy. I went with a friend we were both 35, but I'd definately take my children. So the pool isn't much cop, but hey, your on the beach in less than 5 minutes. If you look around this place is cheap £210 for 2 of us, that's value for money.
