The MARC apartments are a disgrace and are not as advertised. The apartments are not secure it was apparant from the cracks, foot prints and busted lock the door had been kicked in several times.
Upon entering the illequipped apartment you are greeted with a stale damp smell which is particularly poignant in the toilate area.
The balcony/sun terrace was secured with a metal chain and padlock. The sliding doors will not open unless you are willing to pick them up and move them your self. Once on the balcony you can enjoy views over the opposite buildings car park.
We were booked to stay for two weeks but didn't last a hour we were shown annother room in the block which was larger in size but in just as bad condition. Needless to say we moved to alternative accomodation.
Booked throgh follies vacancies who do not provide a maid and are reluctant to give back deposite!

I only saw the made once in 10 days but we has a washing machine so just washed the towels ourself the apartment was of a good size (lots of room).
The snack bar does'nt belong to the apartments but the 2 Scottish boys who run it are a great laugh and the snacks are good.
I loved the location because it was in a quieter part of Benidorm but within walking distance to shops, bars ect

We stayed in the Marc apartments which have to be the worst apartments in Benidorm.
First of all we were on the 7th floor with a lift that got stuck between floors. There were bars across the doors and windows and you needed 2 keys and a big shove to get in to the room. The rooms where ok, very shabby though.
The pool was very deep and never seemed to be above freezing. Not much room for sunbeds.
Bar ok, food had to be the best thing about the hotel.
Location was up a hill, and far from the clubs. We had to get taxis everywhere. didn't have much staff, 1 person on at a time.
No entertainment really.
Cleaners were the worst ever. On are last day we had to clean are room for inspection and take our rubbish down 7 floors and across the road to the bins. There is a lot more things I could say about the apartments all of them bad.
Would not go back to these apartments if you paid me.
Benidorm was a dump as well. Worst holiday of my life.
