| said: great apartments where the staff really care that you have a great holiday.
We stayed in a 2 bed apartment which was possibly the biggest apartment I have seen in Icmeler , very clean , with full size fridge!
The pool area was well kept and unbusy , poss due to the time of the year , waterslide a great hit but unfortunatly werent able to make much use of it as weather didnt allow.
All staff fantastic - Nev the manageress very approachable and the bar/pool staff great - Charlie , Paris , Savas and abdul along with the very sweet and cheeky young girl orsenal.
Savas , was always good for a late night chat with an efes.
Apartments were located in centre of village - about 10 minute walk to the centre of Icmeler , we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a fun and attentive holiday - great for families

| said: We booked a late holiday to the Moonlight apartments and were very happy with the accommodation. There is free air conditioning which is a godsend although only in the main bedroom. The wardrobe facilities are very tiny for more than 2 people.
The cleaners do a fantastic job go in and empty bins every day and change sheets and towels every other day and leave a lovely flower arrangement on the bed which is a lovely touch.
The food was not outstanding but not overpriced and the chefs do the best they can with the facilities they have. There are also so many places nearby to go and eat.
There are two pools one with a large water chute which was great for kids and BIG KIDS alike.
The staff Savash and his brother, Charlie and the lovely young lady on reception were all very nice and helpful.
We spoke to many people at the apartments who had returned on a regular basis.
All in all, we had a nice relaxing holiday at the apartments. For families I think this is ideal but maybe not for a couple like ourselves.

| said: My family and I have just returned from a fortnight in Icmeler, staying at the ‘Moonlight Apartments’.
These apartments are owned by the former Mayor of Icmeler, and are run by his daughter.
The apartments boast a bar and snack area, which provides everything from a full English breakfast to authentic Turkish Meatballs.
The bar is staffed by four young Turkish waiters, all of whom are extremely friendly and helpful although at times, they can be a little over familiar. This could however be put down to their ages and the difference in English and Turkish Cultures.
The maids are excellent and will, at least once during your stay, leave your bed covered in flower petals, and your sheets formed into heart shapes.
There are two pools – one has a large slide, which is great for kids. The other is smaller and has a baby pool attached.
A ‘Turkish Night’ is put on every Thursday which incorporates a BBQ / Local break-dancers and the predictable (but enjoyable) ‘Belly Dancer ‘.
The rooms are clean and tidy and the air conditioning free. The only slight complaint is that in the one-bedroom apartments, there is not a lot of wardrobe space for a family of four.
The other slight negative is that the bar basically stays open as long as people want to drink. Most nights people would still be drinking up until 04.00 AM – and occasionally later.
Music is played and the TV kept on whilst people drink, and it can sometimes be difficult to sleep due to the close proximity of the bar area to the apartments. If you have young children, this could be a slight problem. In our case our kids tended to sleep through it and we were kept awake!
All in all though, nice clean apartments, good facilities and pleasant staff.

| said: We wanted a late holiday with our friends and teenage daughter,we were hoping for a relaxed atmosphere, nice clean place with friendly staff and comfortable accomodation, all our requests were more than granted by the fabulous Moonlight apartments. The place was spotless at all times, even so late in the season(end of Sept.)
We only had snacks at the apartments and the odd breakfast, but next year I wouldnt mind eating more there as the smell and look of the food was enticing.
The apartments are towards the old village,a bit of a walk from the beach, but we found this to be and advantage by the end of the holiday, as we stopped off on our way,at Ozzys for breakfast(top class) and the Meyzen, restaurant, definately visit again. You could hire bicycles at the Moonlight if you wanted.
Finally , the staff, Savas, the main man! put himself out for us all, took the husbands, and anyone else who wanted, to the football pitch to play footie, led a treck up the mountain up to the flag, even though it was Ramadan and he couldnt have a drink, stayed up late to let us all in , knew all our names straight away, very pleasant, a great guy. Charlie,Dennis and everyone else, all made us feel extremely welcome.
The Moonlight has two swimming pools the main one has a big slide , which we all enjoyed!, table tennis. football games. snooker, hammock!! nice gardens.
When the rep dropped us off, she said 'everytime I collect people from here they're always crying' We all know why now............ we didnt want to leave.
Looking in the brochures to book for next year!!!

| said: Fourth stay at the Moonlight in five years, as good as ever.
Apartments were clean and staff as good as ever, there are now 28 apartments in total, for details of pools etc see my first report from 2002
The apartments now have a slide in the main pool, it's been there for two years but I haven't written a report since 2002.
Prices of drinks the same as last year, 4TL for a large beer 6TL for a G&T etc.
Savash, Charlie and Mali looked after us the whole holiday, the weekly Turkish night was brilliant, break dancers, turkish dancing and a belly dancer too die for (Ask 6 year old Alexander he was the envy of all the men) were excellent, the food was very good as well.
Cleaners made a great job of the rooms with flowers and towel arrangements.
Bar staff arranged two good trips at extremely competitive rates for us, will not go shopping around again.
Already booked for the 21st September next year as these apartments are now getting very popular with the regulars, August 2007 is already fully booked with the rooms available direct.

| said: We stayed in apartments called Moonlight it is the third year we have stayed there, this year was very disappointing.
We found the staff unfriendly and the atmosphere was not good plus the reps we had on the transfer from the airport was Turkish and never spoke a word on the coach, the rep at the apartments was also Turkish I thought Thomas cook guaranteed English reps.
The resort excellent the apartments not.

| said: Apartments very clean and well equiped unless you wish to make toast. Can sleep 5 but I would'nt advise it as they are just about large enough for 4.
The bedroom air-conditioning is very effective, partially cools the living area if the bedroom door is left open and it is free of charge.
The balconies may be a bit on the small side for 4 people, but what a view. When you can eat breakfast while gazing out towards pine clad hills ,who cares!
These pleasant apaartments are complimented by the excellent staff.Upon our arrival, at 10.00pm, they insisted on carrying our cases for us to our apartment which entailed climbing a flight of stairs.
Nothing was too much trouble.Even though he was about to close the kitchen for the evening ,the chef happily provided my wife and I with mushroom omelettes and the kids with chicken and chips ,and the next morning after reporting to reception that we only had 2 balcony chairs,a maid appeared ten minutes later with another 3!
I'm not sure how often the maids were supposed to do their thing but they seemed to pay us a visit at least every other day and consequently we were never short of towels.
Speaking of towels,we never found the need to claim our place by the pool at the break of dawn as there
were always some vacant sunbeds throughout the day.
The pool wasn't the biggest but what it lacked in size it made up for in cleanliness ,and the big water slide which kept the kids ,and some adults, amused for hours.
The shallow end of the pool however, because of the slide, is unfortunately still well over 1m deep and therefore perhaps not really suitable for young non- swimmers.
The poolbar kitchen although quite small produced excellent food all day ,from a great English breakfast for 6 Lira (£1.50)to tasty meat and fish dishes in the evenings.
Entertainment at the Moonlight is laid-back except for the weekly Turkish night which ,apart from the good food,I have to admit I found only slightly entertaining, however, the belly dancer at the very end was worth waiting for!
Choose the Moonlight,I'd be surprised if you're disappointed with your stay.

| said: The room was very small and cramped for a family of four no air conditioning in the living room where kids slept so was very hot. Only a shower and bathroom very tiny. Cleaners were brill cleaned every day and towels changed daily.
Pool area was clean and great slide which my daughter loved, not shown in the brochure.
Staff friendly, but busy so sometimes forgot you'd paid for something and tried charging you again.
Wouldn't go again as we felt room too small and no entertainment.
Also no facilities for those checking out on a night flight we asked for a room the day before as per rep told us was told by the owner fine, following morning when husband asked which room was told only one room and given to another family who spent more time at apartments than we did. Told we could use a shower room 7pm finally got to use it after being out of our room by 12 not being picked up till midnight. Shower room was disgusting cracked piece of mirror, over a basin smelt vile ended up doing my hair and make-up in the toilet by swimming pool.

| said: The Moonlight Apartments are set in a quiet area of Icmeler near the junction to the old Village & around 10 to 15 mins walk from the town centre.
The clientele were made up of English, from Thomas cook & Icmeler online, Germans, & Norwegian’s
The Apartments themselves were very clean & bright, they were not huge, but were adequate for our needs. The bedroom had 2 single beds & air conditioning, which was ok but was controlled by a complicated remote control & only worked when the key was in a slot in the wall, this key & slot also worked the lights, which was a real pain if you wanted to get anything out of the strong box in the bed room, as the lights would go off as you removed the key from the wall & this left you fumbling around in the dark. The bathroom had a toilet sink & shower cubicle. The floor was marble & was very slippery when wet; my eldest daughter slipped & fell while in the bathroom & gave herself a very nasty bruise on side of her head.
The living area consisted of small kitchen area with a fridge, sink & cupboards, also a table with a couple of chairs. The other 2 beds were also in here & consisted of 2 arm chairs that you pulled out to make beds, there was no A/C in this room & it got very warm at night, most nights the kids slept in the bed room in one bed & my wife had the other bed so I ended up on the pull out chair & they were not the most comfortable things I have ever slept on. The rooms had a lovely balcony that looked out on to one of the 2 pools or the road at the back & the mountains
The apartments were set in a lovely garden with flowering shrubs & grapefruit trees all around.
The apartments have 2 pools & a covered Bar area set in between the pools, the smaller of the 2 pools was in the shade in the afternoon which was great for the kids. There were plenty of sunbeds & tables by the bar.but the floor was quite slippery .The garden was kept spotlessly clean & was watered every afternoon to keep in it looking green & fresh.
The bar staff (Natalie a Beautiful young Russian Lady & her husband Eric) &(Bishop who left the second week to get married in Germany) were great, very friendly & helpful, they always had time for a chat & mess a round with the kids.
There was plenty of restaurants within a few mins of the apartments & there was also a little train that went all round & cost 5 mill Lira for a family of 4 but it did not seem to have a set time when it came round.
All in all I would definitely recommend these Apartments for young families & I would happily go there again.

| said: We were greeted and show to our apartments by Hakan (More about him later) and a quick couple of hours of sleep and we were ready to start our holiday properly.
The Apartments: Owned by the mayor of Icmeler (In his 4th 5 year term now) who lives opposite.
The Apartments consisted of a main block of about 20 apartments all over looking the main swimming pool. At the rear, overlooking the smaller pool or gardens were three smaller blocks each with 2 or 3 apartments. Our apartment consisted of a double bedroom with remote control air conditioning. A Kitchen/lounge with two pull out single chair beds. A Shower room with WC and basin. They were spotlessly clean and ample for our needs. The balcony overlooked the second swimming pool and was out of the sun most of the day for that wonderful required shade. Electrics including Air Con only worked when your magnetic key was in the slot. Fridge stayed on at all times. Rooms were cleaned daily, towels changed twice a week and linen once a week. The maid even occasionally made the beds up adorned with flowers (A shame you had to move them to get some sleep).
The Swimming Pools: The main swimming pool was approximately 1.4m deep at the shallow end going 1.95 meters in the deep end. I estimated it to be approximately 3 by 8 metres in size with a kiddies pool at the far end approximately 30cm deep. The rear swimming pool was approximately 4 by 4 metres square and 1.45m deep in all places, the top left corner was a split as a kiddies pool again about 30cm deep. (Caution: The floor surrounding the pool could get very slippery when wet). Plenty of sunbeds were available around the pools and we never failed to get one, even when going out with towels at 10:00am in the morning.
The Bar: The bar was in the centre of the apartments and manned what looked to be like 24 hours, service was provided by Hakan and Mahmet (Excuse Spelling) who really looked after you, occasionally one of the mayor’s daughters served you but normally it was the lads. Prices Beer was 2000000L, Local Shorts with Mixer 4000000L, Imported Shorts with Mixer 6500000L. (We were getting 2500000L to the £). Our typical hotel bill per day including day time drinks, ice creams, lunch and evening drinks when we came back from town was £30, very reasonable for 2 adults and 2 kids). The bar served basic snacks up to 19:00/20:00 however it was cheaper to nip round the corner where you could get a full breakfast for 99p.
Location: up in the old village it was a two minute walk to the nearest supermarket, 5 minutes to a group of local restaurants, or 10-15 minutes walk to the main centre and beach. Alternatively you could catch the train that stopped by the gate every 20-30 minutes for 1000000L each (Under 7’s free). We enjoyed the walking.
Booked to go back next September.
