| said: My wife and I have been traveling on package holidays for over 25 years, now without the kids. The Belvue was the worst hotel that we have ever seen in all that time.
We arrived on the Monday, the whole place was run down, the room an absolute tip, the bed broken in 2 places, the bathroom dark and smelling of damp and that was the good points !! As it was cold we decided to remove the sheets from the adjacent single bed..I wish we hadn't. It looked as though the mattress had been borrowed from the local doss-house as it was covered in stains, the origins of which we didn't want to consider. We opted to keep the sheets on our mattress !!
The Rep. was pleasant but inept. Our options were to move rooms, but the hotel was fool? Or move to another hotel and pay the additional costs ourselves which we did. I could go on and on..Avoid this dump at all costs.

| said: we were disapointed as soon as we walked in it was so dark and shabby.our room was also dark light bulbs needed replacing but even in the gloom the carpet looked stained and dirty the curtains did not fit the windows which were fastened with a nail or screw we asked to be moved which was done promptly saying that all the rooms were the same as the owner didn't want to spend money on the hotel the replacement was slightly better only just. the pool area was also dirty they said that was due to the rain the week beforeonthe whole the staff were very nice but seemed as though they had lost interest and i dont blame them.

| said: hotel filthy,bed was stained and torn ,curtains were ill fitting and covered in brown stains (leave to own imagination)carpets were damp stained and full of fungus and small black beetles crawling all over the room loose fitting tiles in bathroom,there was cats dirts all over the balcony and fire exit was locked,mirrows on walls were cracked doors did not close between bathroomand bedroom we left after one nigh of no sleep and having to lie on our towels did not expect a palace but i only expected it to be clean

| said: It is such a shame to see bad reviews of this hotel, but on closer inspection, it is clear from the dates, that the hotel has come up in the world. My husband and i had our reservations of the area and the hotel when we arrived at 6am tired, and hungry, but we couldn't have been more wrong about a place. The hotel even though it is basic, catered for all of our needs, the staff couldn't have been more helpful, especially with recomendations of where to eat and visit, even when we wanted to try jet skiing, they came up trumps!
if you're looking for somewhere big with a corporate image, and non stop 'entertainment', this is not the place for you, if you want low key, friendly turkish hospitality, in a prime location, book now!

| said: We had a great fortnight in this hotel. The rooms were very basic but clean, (exactly what you expect in Turkey!!)
The breakfast was not really our taste but it was Turkish so no surprise there! We did eat there once or twice on an evening and the food was really nice and at a reasonable price!
It is in an excellent location right in between the two main streets and a stones throw away from the canal!
The hotel staff and bar staff are totally seperate. The hotel staff are ok and will help you as much as they can. The bar staff are fantastic and really helped make our holiday fun and lively!! Junior Robbie Williams is great fun, and also Ferhat (bar manager) is good fun and is really really helpful if you need anything or want to know anything about the resort!

| said: I and my family spent a week at this hotel, we had our up's and down's over the accommodation, there are four attick rooms that are very small and have a small window surrounding the air conditioning unit(that you pay for seperately) none of these rooms have balconies. My son and his girlfriend was initially allocated one of these rooms but after speaking to the rep (Karen) they were moved to a more suitable room the same day. Karen was very helpful during our stay
The restuarant and bar are seperate from the hotel (Two seperate businesses).The Hotel staff were ok, they would try to help if they could, however the Bar and restuarant staff were absolulty fantastic, Ferhat (The boss) Morat (The Chef) Robbie and Martini could not do enough for you, they made everyone feel really at home and were extremly friendly. When we left they gave us a send off that all of us will always remember. We would definatly return just to meet the staff again

| said: Had a great time at the Belle Vue Hotel,(despite the intense heat!) and left wishing that we had booked a fortnight, instead of just seven nights. Hotel room was basic, but was cleaned every day by the hardest working cleaner in Turkey. We are ashamed to say that we did not make it to breakfast once, but had a meal there and it was fine. Hotel is located perfectly in relation to beach and bars. It is also a nice, modest size, with a good community feel about the place. Staff are very friendly, and they are always willing to help. It is also well worth staying for Turkish night at the Hotel - a night to remember! Don't believe the bad reviews below, this is a really friendly and caring hotel. (Unless of course you are expecting the Ritz for your £300!!!)

| said: Our stay at Bellevue was one that we will never forget, the rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels & bed linen.
The breakfast was a typical Turkish one which not all of us eat but this wasen't a problem at all, you could order anything on their menu to eat.
The staff were absolutely brilliant, freindly,helpful & nothing was too much trouble for them,they swam with us, chatted to us around the pool & joined in whatever you were doing, "Robbie Williams" was the best,he doesn't stop always on the move making sure everything is going smoothly.
The pool & area around it was spotless & the atmosphere very friendly.We were sad to leave & will definitely be back.

| said: Before we went to Bellevue,after reading the reports on the hotel we were really dreading going to the hotel. we neednt have been. It was brilliant. we arrived at 6.30am following our white knuckle ride of a coach journey from Bodrum airport. We were meet by a friendly lad on reception and he showed us to our room. It was a basic but nice room with a pool view. think it was room 304.
The staff are fantastic and will do anything for you. We went to the hotels turkish night,it was a real laugh, when you go you must go to the turkish night.
The people who have wrote the bad reports must have been expecting buckingham palace!Honestly there is no smashed tiles round the pool, no cockroaches (not what we saw anyway)and the food is great.
Say hi to Farat, Robbie and Murat for us.

| said: We had taken note of the reviews and went with an open mind..... we were determined not to go in room 404... we had a basic room with a double and single bed all the linen and towels were spotless and changed regularly.
All the hotel staff were nice and friendly and joined in with the guests.
The bar staff at the pool side were absolutely fantastic, Robbie Williams (!!!) Lily (& Sila) & Reyhad etc - they were great
The food was good - a typical Turkish breakfast but nice and fresh.
The Turkish night arranged by the bar staff was a blast, we had a really good laugh, nearly all the guests joined in.
Would love to go back and see all the staff again... and will.......

| said: I went in October last year. I have been going to Icmeler for over 7 years and it is the worst hotel I have ever been in. It was disgusting, looked like it had not been cleaned all season. My room was crawling with all sorts of bugs (cockroaches especially).
The staff was never to been seen and when you did the were sleeping.
I would never recommend this hotel it is a disgrace!!!

| said: After reading reviews on this hotel, we was dreading going there, but when we arrived we was suprisingly suprised. Hotel Bellevue is in a really prime location located close to all bars and shops and walking distance of beach.
When arriving the staff were all pleasent and very helpful. Jimmy albert and the 1 we nicknamed shaikra, first impressions of the hotel were good. Rooms were very small and basic cleaned everyday and the cleaner was very helpful, i slit my finger open and she went out of her way 2 help me and cleaned it up.
The pool area was clean and a nice pool, had a laugh with the staff by the pool area.
Only ate the breakfast once was not to our to taste but it was turkish so that explains that.
Over all we had a great holiday and would stay here again, recomend it to any one that doesn't mind a basic hotel.

| said: I thought the Bellevue was excellent value for money. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean and our room was cleaned daily with freshly washed towels and bedclothes every day. The bathroom was again, spotless, with no problems with shower or toilet.
The food was well cooked and although the breakfast was a bit basic (well it was a traditional Turkish breakfast) it was tasty and plenty for me. We ate lunch a couple of times at the hotel and it was very nice.
The staff were excellent, very friendly, cheerful and would do anything for you.
The location was perfect, about 10 minutes away from beach with many shops and restaurants nearby.
I would definitely visit this hotel again as I thought it was clean, good location, nice pool, good food and it had lovely staff. Everything a hotel should be, especially considering how little we paid to stay there.

| said: anyone thinking of going to this hotel must seriously have second thoughts, this hotel is a disgrace.
when me and my partner arrived we were put into a so called 'room' which i personlly woudnt put my dog in, it was dark and dingy with a window, well if you want to call it that. it was like a pigion hole.
i then went to report it and was frankly ignored and told that the hotel was fully booked, this was unacceptable so i then went to see the rep who was no better, he was more against us rather than fighting our corner which is i think is disgusting as the rep is soposed to be there to help you enjoy your holiday.
my partner then payed for the air con then on the last day we got told that we never payed it although my partners signature was in the book, we were then threatened that they would get the police unless we decided to pay a further £20.00, we had no option to pay as they didnt provide us with a receipt. t top it off the rep was siding with the hotel manager and didnt help defend us one bit.
anyone who is thinking about going here DO NOT GO and remember if you get the air con GET A RECEIPT!

| said: Having read bad revues as well as good on this hotel we went away with an open mind. We only booked a month before going and knew from the cost that it wouldn't be a top of the range hotel.
We expected basic but nothing at all prepared us for the "prison cell" we were shown to for our accommodation. All we can say is if you are told you are in room 404 do not even go upstairs to see it!
It is a room in the attic with no window!!! We couldn't believe that they expected us to spend a week in there! The space where the window would be is filled with an air-conditioning unit which they have the nerve to expect you to pay for!
Needless to say we did not stay in there, we complained to the lad who was working and were told we had to see the manager who was not on duty till 2pm. This was 7am. There was no way we were going to unpack so went into Icmeler to get away. When we returned for breakfast another member of staff who understood more English said he would move us as soon as another room became available.
The next room was far better we at least had a window and balcony and more space to move in the room. There was very little space for clothes but we could happily live from the suitcases.
Breakfast was basic but plenty for me. You can't expect English breakfast when abroad. Staff were all very pleasant and friendly, working long hours and staying happy.

| said: We stayed as a family. Ages ranging from 12-56 snd we had the best holiday to date and we holiday every summer and have visted a wide range of countries.
Ok the hotel is basic but really how much time to you spend in your room???? The staff were excellent they cound'nt do enough for you, we got on so well we are still in contact with many of the staff now.
The location is brilliant, I can't understand why I have read such bad reviews I would recommend this hotel to all age ranges and group types - it will take alot to beat this holiday.
I hope you enjoy it as much as we did, we could have stayed forever none of us wanted to leave.

| said: Well, my boyfriend and myself went to the Bellevue last year, and like what everyone else is saying - when you pay only 200 quid to go abroad what are you expecting?
Yes it is basic but thats all you need on holiday, its clean and a maid is in everyday changing the beds and providing fresh towels.
The staff were a great laugh and always made you feel so welcome!
There aint much entertainment at the hotel but its situated in such a great place that you dont have to walk far to all the great restaurants.
Were off to marmaris this year as we could not get any flights to icmeler matching our time off work, but we will defo be catching a bus to Icmeler!
Overall the hotel is basic but I would definitely recommend it for value for money, plus a nice sized pool!

| said: We stayed at the Bellevue Hotel in September 2005 and were concerned having read other reports but knew for the money we spent on the holiday it wasn't going to be the Ritz.
When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. The room was basic but clean and tidy.
The staff were very friendly, accommodating and helpful.
We ate breakfast every morning in the Hotel and enjoyed it.
One day our shower broke and by the end of the day it was fixed. The bedlinen was changed every other day and we had clean towels every day.
Although we didn't swim in the pool it was clean.
There wasn't much entertainment on offer but the staff were always willing to chat.
We would stay here again. The Hotel is only a very short distance from the beach and the shops so the location is ideal.

| said: I don't know about other people but I have just come back from 2 lovely weeks at the Bellevue hotel.
My room was cleaned everyday (it was very basic but what do people expect for the price they are paying)and we were given 2 clean towels daily and the sheets were changed every 2 days.
The staff there are fantastic, very friendly and will do anything they can for you.they even throw a surprise birthday party for my boyfriend.
As for the pool it was always clean while I was there otherwise I wouldn't have been in it every half and hour and they made sure it was kept clean.
We ate there every morning which I enjoyed and we had are evening meal there a few times and lunch nearly everyday and it was always very nice.
I know people say they have had a bad time here but me personally I would go back there tomorrow and some of the people I met there have been going there for years. I loved staying there and didn't want to go home.
The only complaint that my boyfriend had was that they cleaned the room too much and he felt guilty as we hadn't had a chance to make the room dirty before they cleaned it!!!!!! not a bad complaint Ah.
A lot of the people we met there are planning to go back next year as they loved it so much.

| said: This hotel should be re named the Bronx. When reading reports about this hotel I should have listened & not gone here.
On arrival, our toliet & shower didnt work, we reported this & were told it would be fixed the next day!!! & it was.
The room/bathroom were absoloutely filthy & our room wasnt cleaned whilst there in a week. The bed sheets were very old & stained & they were apparantly clean. The towels were only changed twice a week & one would think they had been used to clean a floor at one time.
The pool hadnt been cleaned in months & myself & husband both got upset stomachs from it the only time we went in it. The area around the pool was filthy & the mats had been down so long that they were all curled up. The staff could be seen napping in the rooms when they were supposed to be cleaning them,( thats probably why our room was never cleaned).
The breakfast was Turkish but not at all appetising, we tried it once & once was enough.
Please if you are reading this it is true. Dont waste your money going here, the only good thing about it was the location.

| said: The Belle Vue Hotel, very low standard,in need of total revamp, considering that the resort closes for six months of the year they had plenty of time to carry out some work.
Our room had a cracked sink that appeared to have been in that state for ages, the shower was in a disgusting state with lots of mildew on the grouting.
I was told that the people running the establishment rented it from another company, so they probably have no control over the fabric of the building & obviously would'nt spend any of their own money on it.
Overall, cleanliness left a lot to be desired.
Staff however were pleseant & friendly.
Pool area of main hotel very small & not well maintained, green matting with curled up edges & loose drainage panels around the pool presenting a danger of tripping.
During the first week the pool bar was open until the last guest left, on several nights that was until 5 or 6am, with accompanying music the noise was horrendous the rep. was'nt interested saying 'that's down to to the hotel').
Only had an ocasional breakfast so can't comment on the food.
There was also a total loss of water supply on two consequtive days.
Probably the best feature of the hotel is its location,just a short walk to the 'Canal' area & the beach.
I will not use this travel company or stay at the this hotel in the future.

Both pools were clean and safe there was allways sunbeds the hotel was full of families, the only complaint was the noise but that was just because there was a big party of people in the hotel.
All in all we had an exellent holiday and will go back to the belle vue hotel in September !!!!

| said: Just reading through the reports on the Belle Vue Hotel. What is wrong with you people you get what you pay for it is a bed and breakfast accommodation. We have stayed in this hotel 4 times, once 22 of us went.
The staff are fantastic. The rooms are basic but they are spotless. We are going back in July.
If you want 4 star accommodation book it and stop moaning.

| said: We were not happy about the pool it was filthy with thick green slime all around the edges and on the bottom. We were totally unable to use the pool, and to top it all we were the only two people staying in the hotel and the bar had no beer.
Needless to say we complained to the rep and was moved after two days to the Hotel Juniper which was fine

| said: Hotel kept clean by one poor very overworked girl. If it wasnt for her, nobody would of bothered doing anything to keep the hotel clean and tidy.
Only tried the hotel food once - that says it all.
Reasonable location, but rude staff and management. All rooms do NOT have a balcony as advertised.
Icmeler is a lovely place, but I wouldnt stay here again. Rooms very small. Couldnt even open the door fully as the bed was in the way! Thats how small it was.
Please book elsewhere!

| said: These apartments are not suitable for more than two people, the local agent said it was for 4-5. We travelled as a family with two teenage children, the bedroom is very small and the lounge area only had two single armchairs for the teenagers to sleep on, we where that disappointed we left after 1 hour.
Would never return even is there was only two of us.
