I recently spent a week in the galeria which was too long, rooms are in good need of a refurbishment, i was all inclusive which was a waste of money food is terible, maids are knocking at your door at 8am, everyone was forced to leave the pool area around 6pm so the staff could set up the tables for the evening meal which could have been set up in the restaurant area, as the food sitting outside was getting eaten by flies and wasps. if you have young children or are disabled realy unsuitable as it has no ramps and stairs everywere which i struggled with for the week, was asked to move to the annex but had heard bad reports about this so refused, phoned the hotels 4 u rep on the 2nd day to ask for a transfer still awaiting a reply been home a week. would not go back to the galeria if it was free

we arrived at the galleria park hotel after a 23 hour journey and all we wanted to do was to have a rest and relax. we had heard some bad rumours about the hotel but we thought more people complain than compliment so we may aswell give it a try...

big mistake

on arrival 6 of our 8 members of party that went were placed in the annex.. on thw hard walk over to the annex located at the back of the hotel their was a dryed up either ditch or canal it was hard to tell all the slabs were broken which made it rather difficult to get back and fourth and the rooms were a disgrace. the rooms were very very basic: two small beds a wordrobe with broken doors broken mirror he room also had a very small balcony with a hole in it onlooking a rubbish bin, the bathrooms when i entered their were bugs hanging from the ceiling a tiny space between the shower and the toilet i mean im not a big guy im 10 stone and i couldnt even fit in that gap after arriving at the rooms we imediantly decided to leave

we were all tired and with over 8 hours of discussin with hotel staff and hoel owner ect we just wanted to go to sleep

eventually after no co-operation from anyone we cheked out the hotel and our tour rep managed to put us up in a lovely b&b called golmar beach only problem was for the next 2 weeks we were short on cash because we went from all inclusive to bed and breakfast well it was better than staying in the gallaria thats for sure

now what we are doing is going to watchdog the newspapers everything to try and get our lost money back

p.s no way is gallaria park a 3 star hotel ive seen better 1 star hotels

please please please take my advice for your own sake dont go to gallaria park hotel you will regret it !

The hotel is located right in the centre of Icmeler, less than 200 yards from the beach and next door to some excellent bars and restaurants. The hotel is about as clean and tidy as any other of the same class in Turkey, although there seem to be differences between the main building and the annexe (see below).

The hotel has a large pool and pool area. There is an adequate number of loungers, chairs and tables. There is plenty of shade, for those who do not want to lie in the sun all day. There is onle one bar, the pool bar. This is a very pleasant place, day or night, although the drinks selection is poor (see below).

The hotel comprises a main building, of three floors, and a seperate annexe, of two floors. The rooms in the main building are very good, some with pool view, others facing the very busy and noisy road. The music stops at 24:00, by law. The annexe is a completely different situation. It is desperatly bad. We arrived at 02:00 and were given a ground floor annexe room, which resembled a dungeon. There were two very small windows, facing a very smelly road, but below the level of the road. There was a very very small balcony, with a view of a two foot wide rubbish strewn area, with a link wire fence about two feet awsy. The bathroom (if it could be dignified with the title) was around 4 feet square and the floor was flooded with about a centimetre of water. There were ants everywhere. The annexe was reached by a bridge over a partly dried up and stagnant ditch or canal, which smelled strongly of diesel, or perhaps insecticide, as the ditch was an ideal breeding ground for mosquitoes.

The whole thing was a nightmare. We had not travelled 1.500 miles for this! I immediately complained at reception, to no avail, and had to spend the next two nights in this dungeon. Fortunately, our tour rep was excellent and managed to get us a transfer to the main building by the third night. It had, however, completely spoiled the first part of our holiday.

We were not alone in our complaints. Most people sentenced to the dungeon spent many hours complaining and demanding a change of room. In fact, this must be such a constant source of work for all the tour reps that I wonder why the comnpanies continue to use this hotel.

The food is simply awful. It is not an excuse to say that it is Turkish, it is not, it is simple terrible by any standard. There is a selection of salads for every meal. These are just standard salad dishes - beetroot, lettuce, onion, grated carrot and various mixtures of the aforementioned. The hot selection is so bad that no one will believe just how bad it can get. There is chicken for most meals, except for the occasional meatball or kofta. But the kofta is rubbish compared with any kofta I have tasted before. There is no choice - one meal is on offer and that is inedible. A meal should be something to look forward to, not to be endured!

To summarise, if there is any chance that you will be allocated a room in the annexe, or dungoan, don't go to this hotel. If you like to eat, don't go here.

we should of stayed in the abacus complex, but on arrival we got moved to the galeria park, which we're glad we did. we had a brilliant time, the staff were really friendly and made us feel welcome. as soon as we got home we booked to go back for next year, staying at the galeria. the food was ok, but got abit boring towards the end, but for all inclusive you couldn't grumble. drinks were really good, all local brands, but they was good. the hotel was really clean and the maids made flowers on our beds on the night, which was really nice.

We stayed at Park Galeria for two weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it. We couldnt have asked for much more; staff were amazing, rooms cleaned daily, location fantastic..booking last minute e paid just under 400 each for two weeks. We couldnt have expected anymore. I had read reviews prior to going and admittedly was slightly nervous as to what to expect. However, people had slated this hotel and i couldnt disagree more. I loved it and two weeks just wasnt enough - we're looking to return again next year with all the family..fantastic holiday!

Just got back & already booking again for July and September.

The hotel was immaculate and the staff couldn't have been more helpful throughout the whole stay. Food and drink - excellent and location brilliant.

It was our 9th time in Icmeler and 1st time at the Galeria and we will certainly be back.

The rooms are small but ideal for sleeping and changing and couldn't have been cleaner.

The hotel is a lovely friendly place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone staying in Icmeler.

Cant wait for July!

Me and my husband went there on honeymoon, and how dis-appointed were we. Taking note that I have been in Turkey before and this was a real disappointment.

The rooms were cleaned daily which was a bonus ~ but that's about it.

The food was disgusting the entertainment was rubbish. To be honest the best thing about the hotel was the door out.

If your looking for all-inclusive I certainly would not go to this hotel as you will be sadly disappointed.

Having been to this hotel last year and really enjoyed it, we chose to go again, hmmm bad move. Althought the hotel was very clean and linen ect changed daily the food was awful, although we have to admit it got better towards the end of our second week.

Entertainment in this hotel is vitually nil, but having said that we did not want to spend all our time in the hotel anyway, although having to pay for meals out is not good when you go on an all inclusive option.

The pool is large compared to most hotels in Turkey, bar closes at 11pm but that is also stated in brochure, I would advise not to take young children here as the menu is plain and simply Turkish, i.e. lots of salad, rice and pasta ect ect.

One morning was CAKE and bread for breakfast.

One thing we will say for anyone who is going, not only to this hotel but to Icmeler itself is that we left yesterday 01.07.06 and it was 52 degrees C.... so please be aware, the heat is a killer!!!!

We went at the end of the season but the hotel was very clean, bed linen and towels changed daily and room cleaned daily.

The food was terrible. We were served chicken for lunch and dinner virtually every day usually in some form of stew. There was no choice whatsoever. Food was meant to be served over two hours but if you weren't in the dining room during the first half hour the food was cold and the chips (the days there were any) were run out. Most days apart from bread the food was unedible.

The all inclusive drinks were a bit of a joke. If you drank beer you were O.K. The wine was disgusting. The only spirits were reki, vodka, brandy and gin. Brandy and gin ran out nearly every day and as far as I can remember ice was only available two days out of the week. The coca cola was always flat.

The majority of staff were friendly. The entertainment was another joke. A guy playing a keyboard and this was meant to be every night. On the Wednesday he packed all his gear and that was the end of the entertainment.

The last two days of the holiday all the pool chairs and tables were being packed away and the day we left there was hardly a table or chair outsite to sit on.

I definitely would never visit this hotel again it was a total rip off. I feel very sorry for anyone who ever goes to this hotel. It wants closing down.

This was a brilliant holiday and was good for the hole family! When we first got there though it did look a bit scary as the man at the front desk looked like he was part of the Adams family however all of the other staff were very easy to get along with and a good laugh!

We stayed in a room with a double bed and a single it was very very clean and there was maid that come around every day we do not have a complaint about the room at all

Rhe food was nice and set out well there was breakfast in the morning which was very nice and then tea and biscuits in the afternoon (sometimes cakes) and then tea in the evening and the setting was really nice!

the pool had sprayers over the pool!

When we were there I was with my daughter Jodi who was 13/14 at the time and the evening entertainment wasn't that bad everyone was dancing and NOT just the kids! although on the last night the dj put all of the saddest songs on for some reason!

The hotel was not far from the beach and there were alot of restuarants and things to do around the hotel. If you walk along the beach there are companies that do day trips out I advise the Lazy day! I wouldn't go to a mud bath though if your going with the kids as when I went the kids were all screaming

Anyway I would DEFINITELY go again it was brilliant but if you do go I would go for two weeks rather than a week as there is not enough time to do everything in a week

We found this hotel real value for money. Staff were pleasant, the Manager/owner ensures that it runs smoothly and without any trouble. Pool was cleaned each evening, and it was really pleasant to sit out each evening for the open air buffet. Drinks are local quality, but not too bad, we found it more expensive to drink outside of the hotel than we were told. For example, I had a bacardi and coke which was £4, so the all inclusiveness of the hotel makes it a cheap holiday!

Rooms are basic, first impression was that it looked a bit tired, but realised that it is kept v. clean. Only gripe was that the pillows were extremely uncomfortable. We found the food lovely, a large selection of salads, couple of choices of main, and couple of choices for dessert, + soup. If you want chips with everything, this is not the place for you!

Mid day meal was good, with pizza, pasta, sweet and sour turkey etc, and the afternoon tea ok with cake and cheese on toast etc. Only gripe was the breakfast, which became a tad boring with boiled eggs each day, and poor quality cereal, but as pointed out on other reviews, you can get a breakfast a couple of doors away for £1-£2.

In a very quiet location, only 5 min walk to the beach. That was the best bit, as it is very noisy only a few minutes away, but you never really heard it in the hotel (unless you are in the bedrooms adjacent to a side road).

My brother went on some of the excursions and said that the jeep safari and horse riding was brilliant, and if you go on the boat rides, take your own snorkelling equipment.

I did feel, however, that some of the locals take advantage of the english generosity, and that costs have sharply risen, also some did try and take over taking money out of your hands and try and confuse you with the local currency, but on the whole very friendly people.

I would go again to this hotel, and recommend it if you want a cheap and cheerful holiday.

We also took a taxi direct from Dalaman airport to the hotel, which cost around £50, which only took just over an hour, which we though worth it, when another family took the coach and it lasted nearly 2 hours after all the drop offs.

This year I went to this hotel with my new boyfirend as we decided to get away from work.

We got to the hotel alright, and arrived at teatime and was impressed by the level of staff and efficenity. The receptionist booked us into our room and our bags got taken to the room where we were staying. I was quite shocked as the room was not what I expected, but was basic and pleasant.

It was cosy in there, as it was just us with our own little balcony. We got supplied with a hairdryer, shampoo, fresh towels everyday and clean sheets. The maids cleaned the floors and made sure we had a new full bottle of water in the fridge, and clean glasses that were steralised.

The pool was really clean and enjoyable to swim in, and during the evening the sprinklers came on over the pool, which was pretty.

The bar hardly ever had a queue and the staff continuously cleaned up after dinner and made sure everything was done.

The food wasn't what I expected, but was still nice having different food to eat every day. My boyfirend didnt enjoy the food, and he ended up eating bread most of the time. But to cater for the amount of customers that were there, I think that the kitchen staff did very well.

I enjoyed this hotel very much and would reccomend it. It was in a great location, and in reach of everything avaliable.

This hotel is sold as a 3* all inclusive option.

The food is of a basic nature, including salads and various Turkish options. If you like typical English burgers/chips etc. then this is not for you.

The hotel is in a perfect location, 2 mins to the beach and resort centre.

The accomodation is basic but very clean with towels and sheets changed daily.

The pool area is pleasant and surrounded by gardens and spectacular views of the mountains.

We went all inclusive for the first time, had a great time. Hotel was spotless and rooms cleaned every day. Fresh towels and bedding also every day.

The food was basic turkish, but with something for everyone. If you want burgers and chips ect, then go to blackpool. There is enough choice, so no one will go hungry.

Location is 2 mins walk from the beach, which again is spotless. The staff can not do enough to help and are all friendly.

Entertainment is basic, but to be honest if you can't entertain yourself on holiday, then dont go!! The only small complaint we would have if any is the location of the club at the back of the hotel, the music does get a bit loud now and again but you soon get used to it.

We would defiantly go again, in fact we are going again in June 2006.

After having read numerous reports about this hotel I would ask you not to be put off this hotel. We reached this hotel at tea time and first impressions of the hotel reception were clean and tidy - exactly what would be expected of a 3* hotel. The receptionist coped well with the sudden mass of people checking into the hotel and the entire checking in process only took minutes. The suitcases were immediately taken up to our room by the porter. The room consisted of 2 single beds with a small table between and a dressing table, stool, drawers, wardrobe with spare blankets should they be required, remote controlled colour TV, fridge, air conditioning, tiled floor, door opening onto a balcony with 2 patio chairs and a small table (perfectly adequate for 2 persons). The bathroom consisted of a shower cubicle containing an adequately powered shower, wash hand basin and toilet, hairdryer. The room was cleaned thoroughly daily and the sheets and towels also changed daily. Each day the maid left the towels beautifully arranged in flowers, heart shapes etc - something I have only experienced in 4* plus hotels.

All the hotel areas were always spotlessly clean and the gardens beautiful. As for the reports of the smell of oil - on odd occasions there was a small aroma of oil but this was the same in the resort throughout - not just this hotel. As with any resort abroad there are always some wierd smells to be found so all in all this was no different. The exception to the rule with holidays abroad was that this one didn't seem to have any nasty creepy crawlies (or we never experienced them anyway).

The pool area was great, always plenty of sunbeds and tables and chairs to sit around and the hotel located in such a way that the pool was in the sunshine from 8:00am until the time it closed 6:00pm.

Breakfast consisted of a choice of either or all of the following, boiled eggs (3 minutes or 6 minutes), ham, salami, various jams, breads, cereals, cucumber, tomatoes and cheese and the drinks available were coffee, tea, hot water, milk, orange juice or strawberry juice. Again all in all a more than adequate spread, but alas those people who just cannot survive on such a healthy diet and expect a fully cooked English greasy fry up - then perhaps they would be better off staying at home as this just would not suit their taste buds - although there are plenty of nearby restaurants who serve breakfasts for anything from £1.00 to £2.00.

Lunch - only ever went twice and there was salad, chips, pizza etc so nobody would starve.

Teatime - cakes and coffee were on offer.

Evening meal - consisted of a lovely soup, plenty of lovely fresh salad, meat dishes / fish dishes and puddings similar to creme caramel etc, again plenty of good healthy food and not a chip in sight - it was wonderful, again if you are looking for an English food hotel this is not the one for you - suggest Blackpool.

Late evening - Soup was available again - this was a lovely close to the evening.

Daytime entertainment - from what we saw anyway (but only spent couple of days around the pool as resort has so much to do) consisted on a man from the local diving company giving free scuba diving lesssons in the pool. That was the daytime entertainment apart from music in the background by the pool which was lovely to sunbathe to.

Evening entertainment - usually a man playing an organ and singing - again not really Pop Idol material but he did try hard. Karaoke usually followed until midnight. One night there was a display of turkish dancing. I would add that there are plenty of bars and hotels offering entertainment walking distance from this hotel.

The barmen worked extremely hard. There was never a queue to get a drink. The lager "Tuborg" was always cold and never flat and the fizzy drinks were always cold and fizzy also. There were plenty of other drinks available but with exception to the Reki we did not try these so cannot comment, although there were plenty of people drinking Brandy sours and wine etc so it must have been OK.

In summary - please do not put off by the other reports - perhaps in the past this hotel may have had problems - but all in all from my experience, if you are looking for a holiday abroad and you have a "when in rome" attitude - try this hotel and I am sure you will not be disappointed.

It was my first time here with my mum and sister as we had just lost our dad, so we needed a break.

On arrival to the hotel it did not seem too bad but when we got to the room there were 3 beds and it was that tight you could not move and my sister was in her wheelchair so they had to give us 2 rooms.

Then when we went for food it was not nice as it was all the same every night and the man playing the music was just not playing at all.

It was bad, when we told our rep he did not want to know. So what good was he?

The bar next door was were we was eating if you come out side the main doors and go to your right they were very nice there and the food was good they get 10 out of 10.

The Galeria park hotel needs to be shut down as they should not be open. I would not put my dog in there at least they got the name right? galeria

Arrived at the hotel with my mum at about 6am after a long drive from airport. As soon as I entered the hotel I thought to myself, "How the hell can this 3* hotel cater as an all inclusive?". It was dingy, small and smelly.

The man brought us to our room. The room was even worse. It stank too and had scruffy carpets. The room was really cramped. The shower was pretty old but it did ok. The beds where comfortable enough to sleep in and changed daily. The balcony was really small.

Got up for breakfast which was disguisting & couldn't even drink the tea. The pool area was very clean but really cramped and not enough sun loungers. We sunbathed at the beach very near by everyday instead which was beautiful and watersports very cheap.

When we discovered what the food was like, ate out for breakfast and lunch which was dead cheap and nice.
Loads of places sold full frys for a £1 and 4 course meals for £5! Tried to eat food at dinner time but usually ended up buying chocolate and crisps.

There is only 1 small bar located near the pool and the drinks were very minimal. The soft drinks are flat. Despite this it was a nice place to sit and have a chat with others staying in the hotel and the bar staff who were really nice.

The entertainment was really bad and boring. All there was, was a man trying to sing really rubbish songs every night. All the bars in Iclemer had good entertainment at night.

The hotel staff where very friendly - some too friendly and others genuinely friendly but this is the same outside the hotel. Young girls receive a lot of hassle from the Turkish boys/men.

I definatly would go back to Iclemer. Loads of fun bars and good restaurants. Far nicer than Marmaris which is like a big busy city near by.

Wouldn't stay in Galeria Park again as it is no way near the standard and feel it doesn't facilitate for all inclusive. It has been said 5* star hotel food is not much better and because food is dirt cheap in restaurants I would choose a self catering hotel.

Greeted by the smell of diesel, apparently its poured into the small canal by the hotel to keep mosquitos away.

Room basic and cleanish, electrics extremely dangerous with sockets and wires falling off the wall, including in the bathroom which was scary to say the least.

Bar staff were nice.

Entertainment was a joke, with the "look no hands" keyboard player.

Food was absolutely terrible, no choice at all, the food was cold and inedible, when we asked if we could have some kebab off the grill behind the chef, we were refused and told to eat what we were given. Luckily eaing out isn't expensive and good.

We would never even consider staying in this hotel again.

Arrived at the Galeria at approx 4pm in the afternoon, to be greated in reception by the infamous stench of diesel. Urgh.

The rooms were clean, but carpet was a tad worn and manky. Balcony? Well, a 3 foot by 3 foot space filled with two tiny chairs a small table. Admittedly the bathroom was much better than what I was expecting, certainly Travel Lodge standard (without the bath).

Food - I can only comment on evening meal as I was never around the Hotel for breakfast, lunch, Soup at midnight etc. For a 3* hotel the choice was diabolical. One rice, one fish/meat, one pasta, usually spaghetti with a sauce equivalent to ketchup with no meat. One night the lamb could only be described as lumps of fat, even the stray cats who came and "begged" for food turned their whiskers up at it and refused to eat it.

The restaurants around the resort were a god send. Food was superb, you can get a decent meal for anywhere between £1 and £4.

The All-Inclusive bar was extremely limited. Efes for the beer lovers (but didn't quite taste like Efes in the resort? wonder why) local, flat soft drinks, and a strong local vodka.

Cannot fault the location, close to everything, probably the most ideally located hotel in Icmeler - No lie.

Approx 3-4 mins walk from beach, which, incidently is gorgeous, and the sea is the bluest you will ever have swam in (maybe).

The staff were a bit in your face over-friendly at times, but just doing their job. The entertainment was a joke, pure comedy, just like something from Phoenix Nights. Every night during the evening meal sad love songs blasted out from the speakers, nice depressing music to cheer you up. At approx 9pm a guy came on and blow me away. He managed to pull off an Elvis song, followed by Sinatra, then a number by a rock group the Scorpians. He was truely amazing, sounded just like the originals, but hey, wait a minute, he was drinking water whilst playing the keyboard at the same time? Ah, the keyboard isnt even plugged in!!!

I wont be staying here again!

we checked in and were taken to our room in the annex building, getting to the room was like an assault coarse it was 3 in the morning and there was no lighting between the hotel and the annex.

the rooms itself was basic but clean.the so called mini bar was a fridge which made your drinks warmer with a bottle of water in it.

we had a long lie and went for lunch the following day.lunch consissted of rice, salad ,1 veg & 1 meat dish.the portions they tried to give you were poor and you had to beg to get some more food on your plate,we shouldnt have bothered as it was disgusting anyway.the rice tasted of the smell we were greeted with the night before.starving we were looking forward to our evening meal which we thought must be better than lunch, but it to was very poor ,it was served outside in 30 degrees heat uncovered for 3hours each night, needles to say after day 2 we were both down with food poisoning which ruined the rest of our holiday.

my fiance was worse of than me and as we hadnt seen our rep in the hotel at all and the staff at reception didnt understand me or just couldnt be bothered i was in a panic being in a strange country with no help, luckly there was an english nurse i met the next day who gave us good advice.

the hotel itself should never be a all-inclusive there is only one bar beside the pool and one toilet by the pool which was disgusting for all the residents.the pool area itself was ok but most people who used the pool came down with ear infections.the staff at the bar were friendly and worked hard but the reception staff chose not to know what you were saying.

the entertainment was laughable, turkeys answer to des occoner on a keyboard,he murdered all of my favourate songs,by the end of our stay we still hadnt seen a rep despite our problems.we dont think there is one, overall icemeler is alovely resort with lots of friendly people and great bargain shopping, this was our first time in turkey and would put us off going again, but for anyone else try icemeler but avoid galeria park like the plague,it must only be amatter of time before it is shut down or downgraded to a hostel for the homeless.

After eventually arriving at the Hotel after a 2 hour wait at the Airport, we were welcomed with a stench of diesel in the reception which made us all feel sick. We were then brought to our rooms by a member of staff and when we entered the room we were amazed of the standard of the room. The bathroom was grubby, the shower would never turn off properly, the third bed was a put-up bed which would of been ok except for the fact that the middle legs had to be balance on a rolled up newspaper and pieces of cardboard.
The following morning, we went down for breakfast and was not impressed with the food at all. I appreciate the fact that we were in Turkey but at the time of booking we were told that English food was also on the menu. I have not seen a fried breakfast in the seven days of our stay or a simple piece of toast in the Hotel. We ate out most of the time due to the food quality, and on the one occasion we had an evening meal, the lamb kebab was very fatty and some pieces were raw.
The Hotel staff were very nice to talk to and helped you when you needed it. The Hotel bar staff were always cracking jokes to us and always seemed happy.
The entertainment was a joke! Most nights, there was a man on his keyboard singing, but when I took a closer look, I found out that the man was just miming to the words and his keyboard was turned off!
I will not be coming back to this Hotel as I was very disappointed with it.

Cheap price for the holiday.

All drinks you want as a/I. Clean hotel with lifts and english speaking staff. Gorgeous location and many local places to eat from for little amounts.

From that basis someone can have a brilliant holiday if they want to, or can sit and moan about the food and entertainment.

What do people expect when they pay £300. A good holiday.

This was our first holiday abroad without our three girls and were really disappointed that we did not take them with us as the area and shopping was beyond our expectations.

We are seasoned travellers and usually go to Cyprus but were overwhelmed with the surrounding beauty and greeness.

The hotel was not what we expected as all inclusive but as we are not fussy eaters most of the meals were exceptionally good.

As this was a last minute holiday we were really pleased, after all with weather like we had you only went to your room to sleep.

We only ate out once so the food couldn't have been that bad.

We are taking the girls to Icmelar Aug 2005 so that they can experiance it as well.

When we first arrived at the hotel I was very pleased as I had been onto this site before my visit and the reviews were awful. The staff were fantastic and very accomodating. The pool was a good size, very clean and plenty of sun loungers available so you didn't have to be up at the crack of dawn for a sunbed. The food wasn't up too much but as Turkey is so cheap we ate out for less than £7 which was fantastic! We did eat in the restaurant a few times and I found the food was ok but a bit reptitive. The location was brilliant as it was on a strip of bars this may sound a bit off putting for families with small children but the area was policed and all bars have to turn their music off by midnight. It was also a 5 minute stroll from the beach and the hotel has its own area of sun loungers on the beach which cost approx 40p for the lounger and mattress which was brilliant. There wasn't much entertainment in the hotel but with the amount of things to do outside the hotel not many people stay in the vicinity anyway also the drinks stop being all inclusive after midnight so that may be another reason. The cleanliness of the room was fantastic the sheets, towels were fresh everyday and also a bottle of water put in the fridge each day perfect for taking to the beach! All in all I thought the Galeria Park was a really nice hotel and I couldn't have asked for more I would definately go back!!!

My first visit to Turkey and my friends 10TH. Both were surprised at the cleanliness of room and bar and poolside plus toilets were fullty functional! Rooms were cleaned daily and towels changed and bed made with Turkish flower arrangements.

Food offered was of limited choice and a little repetative but with all the tea and coffee and unlimited beer and spirits - eating out on an evening was a welcome break from the poolside bar. We made full use of the breakfasts and occasional lunch and evening meal. Prices away from hotel so cheap its shame not to venture out.

Location was perfect 3/4 mins from beach - bus stop outside to travel to neighbouring towns 50p -- and near to all resturants and bars plus close markets and shops.

Staff didnt speak much English but understood a lot ?

Entertainment was typical Turkish and DJ could do with some new up to date CDS--take your own and lend him some. Had an internet cafe area which was on broadband and £1.60 for 40mins.

Excellent value for money would go again.

This was our first visit Turkey and was recommended to go AI a first for us. We arrived at 4am at the Galleria Park hotel to be show a room in an annex building. A live bat greeted us as the porter opened the door, wonderful welcome after nearly 8 hrs travel, the window was closed, so how long it had been there, who knows? I could only describe the room as a DHSS hostel. The carpets stank and were in pieces and full of stains, the so called mini bar was a dirty fridge containing a bottle of water. The bathrooms were a bit cleaner but I would not like to use the shower, black. grouting would not be my choice. We refused to stay.I also looked at the rooms in the main hotel, just the same condition. . The night was spent walking around with 2 very tired children. As we waited for a rep to appear in the morning. We did not eat anything on our 12 hr stay so therefore unable to give any comments. The staff in the hotel were very nice and helpful. Location excellent.

Hotel on one of the main strips in iclemer.
Food was very very poor we had to eat out most days, breakfast was typical turkish affair which was ok considering we were in turkey but other than that you had a choice of boiled egg bread or turkish corn flakes.
Lunch and tea one choice of meat or fish, one pasta one rice one veg.
There are plenty of other restaurants in area just directly on hotel road there is at least a dozen. No Limit and Wonderboys both very good.
Hotel itself is five minutes walk from beach down main road so not directly connected to hotel, staff very friendly but all turks are.

Hotel entertainment very poor one man and his organ( not playing most of the time)every single night no other entertainment.

We will be going to iclemer again but certainly will not stay at the galeria.

The hotel was situated in a good position for the lovely beach.

The rooms were grubby and substandard. Very small balcony with a not a very good view.

The food was disgusting and the wine was not drinkable. Very limited on alcohol.

The pool was fairly clean.

There was no entertainment just young children using there own cds on a hifi system.

There was also a horrible constant smell of diesel in the reception area.

The water was turned off just when we were getting dressed for the evening. The man in the next room to us got locked in his bathroom as the door wouldn't open.

The management and staff were not that friendly either.

Would visit Icmeler again but definitely not this hotel. It is most definitely not a three star more like a one star hotel.

Fortunately Icmeler was cheap to dine out so we decided to eat elsewhere.

Rooms were quite clean, clean towels every day etc.

Reception staff fairly pleasant, bar staff were ok sometimes, but downright rude sometimes too.

We went for breakfast on the first morning and were so disappointed with it we never went again. We had full English across the road for only £1 each. Lunch and evening meals were the worst I have ever experienced. No choice at all, it was a matter of eat what is there or go without! Afternoon snacks consisted of a slice of cake! and a cup of coffee. Evening meals served outside just indescribable, rubbish mostly. We looked at the supper one night... Cold soup and we were told it was the same every night. Needless to say we ate out. We were spoilt for choice as everywhere nearby had excellent menus so very reasonable.

Also the all inclusive drinks finished at 11 every night, so by the time all the meals were finished with, you were lucky to get more than one drink unless you paid.

We have been all inclusive many times to most European countries, and have mostly been well satisfied, we are not hard to please, but I would never ever go back to that hotel again even for free!!!
